You can’t listen to the wgr game broadcast via the radio.com app. It’s an nfl rule.
I’m sure when I responded, he had asked about post game coverage ... definitely cannot get the game radio through radio.com

Flutie's gonna be at the game this week, we could sacrifice the midget at midfield at halftime ... does that lift his curse?
oh you meant forgiving someone ...

It’s not my style ... you know ... act like you’ve been there before ... ?

I guess scrapping on the floor is kind of like a Hail Mary in football to me, but once he got the ball and rolled it should have been called ... easy call, every time
i also don’t have a dog in the fight, I don’t follow basketball much ... but I do know the rules.
-
Of course, the kid who grabs the ball and rolls over to make the pass actually travels according to basketball rules ... but no call
-
Interesting that they wound the game clock after the delay of game and intentional false start ... allowed the Pats**** to run an additional almost minute off the clock. Not meaningful in this game, but a loophole to consider using it is the correct officiating.

I’m wondering if they can stop making a big deal out of the LB playing FB ... that’s been happening since the mid 80s. Plus he missed his block on the TD run ...

How is this just reviewed with no challenge? This isn’t college and isn’t a scoring play because it’s a penalty.

Announcers saying how great the Browns managed that last drive ...
5 plays, 15 yards, 35 seconds? That’s well managed?

Actually jw is wrong. Bledsoe had 6 straignt 200+ yard games in 2002.
Actually you are wrong about jw being wrong ... jw said the last QB to have a longer streak than 6 games was Kelly ... He was correct as you noted

Looks like about 5,000 fans in Miami. They are gonna be a joke this year. If you live in Miami and your football team sucks, way too many other things to do rather than sit and sweat watching a garbage product.
That's what I’m hoping come Nov 17 ... cheap tickets!

Anybody have a clip of the "Roughing the passer" in the first half of the Panthers game? They didn't show a replay in the stadium but I was looking right at the QB when it happened and I didn't see ANYTHING that warranted it.
That was a huge call as it would've been 4th and I believe 15 or so. They ended up scoring their first points of the game on that drive because the drive was extended by the "penalty"
It was just late, started to pull up but still hit him. Not a penalty from a roughness standpoint, but an easy call in today’s NFL

... Except for celebrating prematurely on the first offensive play of the game, where he beat the secondary over-the-top and was caught from behind and fumbled instead of scoring the TD.
That’s what I remember from this supposedly forgotten game.

In the CFL, he was was twice traded/let go as the reigning MVP ... why would a team let the league MVP go? Probably because he wasn’t worth dealing with at times.

I recall when Charlie Steiner started laughing uncontrollably during one of the broadcasts. I think it was when Carl Lewis, the track star, was singing the national anthem at a ball game. It was horrid. Steiner was in tears laughing so hard...and of course, it made you laugh just as hard watching him.

I was at the game as well and we left because it started snowing and game seemed out of reach. We heard the crowd roar and tried to turn around as we were walking to our car outside Rich, but too late. It would have been my first live look at a "Hail Mary" Fergy rightfully deserves praise for his abilities and that was a great demonstration of what he could do. I think some of his heroics are overshadowed by blunders at critical times. Not sure how I would rank him as Bills QB but probably 3rd after Kelly and Lamonica.
I was there too ... in the parking lot because Dad wanted to leave ... only hear the cheers and “Here's the replay on the scoreboard” and we watched it from the north lot on that amber lit beauty!
