My dark horse is Anderson, but I won't get fully on the train until he repeats his performance of last preseason.

Nope.

Training Camp 7/29 - First day of pads

I want to see Anderson, his shotgun snapping is excellent from all I've seen. Those are Anderson's strengths. -
Boring can be good, like low-stress pars in golf. I enjoy boring Bills games like hosting Pittsburgh in 2022. Hot take: McGovern will be starting LG by the end of camp, AND the OL will not just hold up but improve.

Don't ever let this get stuck in your head. Fair warning.

This was where most people first heard of a guy named Jeff Lynne of a fellow Birmingham band called The Idle Race, whom Move leader-by-default Roy Wood brought in for a new project he had in mind to make rock'n'roll with both standard guitar/bass/drums combined with classical instrumentation... an electric "light orchestra" if you will. However the Move being contracted for a couple more albums, that would have to wait a little bit. Your track was on the Move's 3rd album (1970) and the next time they went to the studio they recorded a whole slew of songs. Half became The Move's final album "Message From The Country" to capitalize on their cachet (and cash) and half becoming the first Electric Light Orchestra album. However it was the same people, same studio, at the same time and some crossover in arrangement of course (i.e. the oboe on the Move track Words Of Aaron). Despite the two distinct releases it was essentially one band going forward at ELO with the Move being retired. Roy Wood's primacy would soon be supplanted by Lynne's increasing proliferation and stage presence, with Wood departing during the ELO II sessions. Music press speculated that without Wood, the ELO was doomed and looked forward to the success of Wood's new band Wizzard. Wood was a brilliant writer of deeply hooky singles, penning a string of top-20 singles in the Move. For a couple years (at least in England) it was so. But Lynne had impeccable pop chops and eyes toward breaking through in the United States...

The trans-explosion can be be traced back to software companies having to following ESG standards. They were required to have a certain percentage of women as software developers, but there just weren't enough pursuing that vocation. Then they discovered it was easier to turn software engineers into women than it was to change women into software engineers. It's sort of related to why cars are running thinner and thinner oil over the years to try to increase CAFE-mandated fleet mileage requirements at the expense of your bearings and journals. It's helping someone connected to the power elite, at the expense of the people. Since 2021, all that stuff has gone logarithmic, across all disciplines where Leviathan makes a claim (hint: everywhere). -

Ah those commercials. They're gold, Jerry, gold!

Who was your all-time favorite player that was NOT on the Bills?
Ralonzo replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Roger Wehrli of the Cardinals. The best line of the NFL draft broadcast that year was iirc Merril Hoge describing Fitzgerald as "the kind of guy you'd want your wife to marry." -

According to PFF Connor McGovern is good
Ralonzo replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
McGovern might stay at guard but it might not be Van Pran who is the reason why. I really need to see Anderson start against some 1s in preseason because he dominated the 2s and 3s. The one complication is that with Bates gone he's got the position flex you want in a #6. -
Orsome! You'd theenk efter 20 years you might have come ecross seeks or seevin... or even teen!

The rare cover that brings it's own merit, IMO. The live and the botch add to the charm here.

One mo for the evening, a tribute to a friend that reccently passed, for whom each of us might be the only person the other knew who actually knows this band.
