what did you need it for? address book and planner? PDA's are like pc's, you can get one that does 90% of what you want to do for pretty cheap ($150 or less). If you want fancy stuff, buy one like you already bought...

i use it for an extra business line. Great price, voicemail features are awesome. you can also get a number in any area code you want.

would the original poster please answer these two questions: 1) Did you include "as is" on the contract 2) Did they ask you about the transmission, and did you tell them exactly what you wrote here in the forum ("we suspected there might be a problem with the transmission but we didn't want to publicize it")

We suspected the transmission might be in need of attention, but it's not as if we thought that would be a good selling point, so we didn't make an issue of it. did they ask about your thoughts on the transmission, and what was your response? Did you tell them "you suspected it might be in need of attention"?

Did you give them a contract that said "no warranty express or implied" or "as is"? The fact that you didn't let them take it to a mechanic, and also told them "of course a transmission shop is going to tell you need a transmission" undoubtedly makes them a little suspicous about what you knew. And you backed it up with this post, admitting you suspected a problem may exist. Would you win in court? Not sure. Are they without blame? no Are you without blame? no

this isn't a game of kickball in 3rd grade. It's his job. it would be similar to completing screwing up at work, and losing a huge customer. Afterwards you are smiling and tell your boss you almost didn't lose the customer and the odds were against you so it was a moral victory.

I just said I was surprised, nothing more. Pennington has a history of appearing to take things too lightly, like when he was smiling and upbeat after they lost to the pats and called it a moral victory.

you and i had the same thought at the exact same time.....

there was an article in the wall street journal a few weeks ago about how so many guys aren't wearing a lot of the padding anymore, and if they are, they often wear childrens sized pads (have a look at the size of thigh pads - if they are being worn at all - they are tiny). worst of all it talked about how much of the reason is because guys think they look better without pads...

most office chairs can be pulled apart where the seat fits onto the "tube". take it off, put a few shrimp in there and wait a few days. the smell will start off very faint and grow by the day....
