  1. The buffalo dline was elite vs KC. Again ppl are being the prisoner of the moment...
  2. I understand ppl use that example but it makes little sense As soon as Andy Reid got a hof qb in mahomes he won and went to multiple super bowls He helped mcnabb who is Hof adjacent get to like 4 conferences championship games and one super bowl Buffalo played one of its worst defensive games in years and they still almost won in a shootout without 2 skill starters on offense It's as close as it gets to a legitimate Superbowl team. They were the fastest to clinching a division in 15 years. Does the division suck, yeah. It's still very impressive Their srs is 2nd in the NFL 3rd in overall dvoa Their point differential is second behind Detroit They are the only team to beat KC , again without multiple starters It's irrational to doubt them as a top 3 or so blue chip contender
  3. If we play the Bengals I think we would handle them. But if burrow is hot that can't be ignored. He's the 2nd or 3rd best QB in the NFL and I love his game. Chase and Higgins can take over a game
  4. He was absolutely elite vs KC. So idk. He obviously has the talent Very interesting to see how this dline does vs an outstanding lions oline
  5. I speculate Hyde is hear to avoid a situation we had at linebacker last year. If we have a injury at safety he's the insurance policy But who knows maybe he's starting in the playoffs.
  6. It's a tough loss but it's terrifying for other teams. It's why I keep predicting we are going to blow ppl out in the playoffs or at the very least be way too much on offense for other teams Outside special teams Allen led the bills on the road to 42 pts in 21 min with two starters out on offense. That's with two drives right before and after halftime going 3 and out. Again that is terrifying for other AFC contenders Yeah ppl can call me a homer, I frickin love our chances Good luck to whoever we play in the playoffs
  7. Because in years prior the defense was up to the level needed vs KC in the regular season but injury was a major reason that didn't repeat in the playoffs... Is that optimistic? Yes But I'm sorry, I love our chances with this version of the team and also think some of the concern about game management or some defensive vulnerability is null and void because Josh Allen will simply be too much for other teams.
  8. It's the same thing imo but if the Montana 49ers dynasty was in the AFC hypothetically with Elway. At least that's how I look at it
  9. I think this can't be said enough. Yes the team and especially defense was kinda flat. The intensity was different compared to the KC game. But already having the division wrapped up. It was always going to be a weird head space to play in for 5-6 weeks with nothing of real consequence It's the fastest a team has won a division in 15 years. They are going to rest anyone that is even a little banged up. And we have earned that right.
  10. For context, the 1990 bills lost a late season shootout type game vs the Warren Moon oilers on the road It wasn't quite this big as far as scoring but similar Ppl need to relax Breathe
  11. I understand it's frustrating but I think they have a great chance this year. Don't be a prisoner of the moment.
  12. I do think McDermott needs to think about a rotation of Elam at cb and Dorian Williams at linebacker to at least upgrade the athletic ability and speed. I do think Milano will be a lot better in January
  13. The 1994 49ers lost 44-10 to the eagles The 2020 bucs lost 38-3 to a team The 21 rams lost 3 games in a row and lost in some blow outs.... The 85 frickin bears got carved up and blown out There are numerous examples of this over and over times 100 They're fine The goal right now is to stay healthy and get the 1 seed or get a defacto bye week 18 where the pats game doesn't matter
  14. Last year they were. Not this year. Can't be the prisoner of the moment
  15. I remember Elway, saw him growing up... Great QB and legitimate first ballot Hof qb. Allen is better.
  16. No. I think you might see a couple high 20 games given up by the defense but Allen will be too much and we should win. My only real concern is health. I think Douglas banged up his knee but I don't think it's too serious. Rest him up Plus I want to see Elam play anyway... If they're fully healthy or very close to fully healthy I stand by my prediction. Buffalo and Allen are going to completely eviscerate everyone in the playoffs in similar fashion to the 89 49ers. Allen scored 42 points in 21 minutes lol.... If I have a fear , it's McDermott trying to put a ceiling on Allen and " limit the other teams possessions" etc But I'm more confident after yesterday. And I can promise you that the other AFC contenders are terrified
  17. I have more confidence after Allen's performance that we are going to again, completely obliterate everyone in the playoffs.
  18. For the love of God can we please stop. How many damn resources does it take.
  19. I need to see Elam. Like he is our best man CB and he's not even active. It makes no sense. I need to see Elam starting if Douglas is banged up for a week or two Like seriously. The Elam stuff is the most bizarre thing I can remember.
  20. They have a super bowl team and QB. McDermott has 4 weeks to come up with a real game plan on defense for the playoffs. You're 100, million percent correct. It absolutely cannot stay the same. Full stop. I'm not saying change everything, but he needs to do something different. No more excuses. Hold teams to 24 points in the playoffs is all I'm asking because it will be enough. McDermott has to step up in the playoffs.
  21. This stuff is so reminiscent of shottenheimer and Dan Reeves. I absolutely hate admitting that
  22. That defensive performance better not happen in the playoffs. I'm not saying they have to be great. But that was absolutely horrible. That's all I'm going to say.
  23. I'm extremely confident going into the playoffs if we are fully healthy or as close to it as possible I don't think another team will repeat that against our defense.
  24. Sean McDermott is the head coach.... I'm not going to overreact and I don't see this happening in the playoffs but it was pretty atrocious on defense at every level including scheme. I want McDermott here for a long time but he can't keep losing these classic Allen games. You can't lose games like this when your QB is transcendent
