You nailed it on the Trump cult - it’s unmatched but this 'both sides are awful' take falls apart the moment you look at actual outcomes. Biden may not be your ideal but let’s not rewrite history. Trump killed off over a million Americans through COVID neglect, lies, and political theater. He downplayed the virus, ignored scientists, pushed bleach, and turned a public health crisis into a partisan death march. Then he tanked the economy and handed Biden a flaming dumpster fire to fix. That’s a generational catastrophe. Biden, for all his flaws, rebuilt the economy, passed the CHIPS Act, historic infrastructure, and got us back on track with allies and global leadership. That’s not ‘awful’ that’s competent governance under impossible conditions. And as for 'wokeness'? Give it up man. If the worst thing in your life is navigating pronouns, while the other side is banning books, attacking elections, and trying to strip basic rights maybe reassess who’s actually threatening your freedom. We do deserve better leaders. But pretending Biden and Trump are two sides of the same coin isn’t realism it’s intellectual laziness.

Funny how people call Biden’s presidency a 'low bar' - under him, we got record job growth, historic infrastructure investment, the lowest uninsured rate ever, and a real push for clean energy. Compare that to the last 100 days of chaos, grift, and culture war distraction. If this new crew can’t clear Biden’s so-called 'low bar,' maybe the bar was a lot higher than they want to admit.

Trump going after NPR is classic authoritarian theater. He can’t stand fact-based journalism that isn’t fawning or fake. He needs echo chambers, not outlets with integrity. At this point, he’ll attack anything to distract his simps from the catastrophic failure of his first 100 days.

President Bonespurs rebranding Veterans Day is nothing more than a cheap PR stunt to distract from the disastrous economy. This is the same guy who dodged the draft with 'bone spurs' and called POWs 'suckers' and 'losers' - spare us the faux patriotism. Veterans deserve respect, not exploitation by a guy who’s using them as a smokescreen for his failures.

Ah yes, according to Trump: Borders aren’t racist unless they involve brown people; speech isn’t violence unless it’s against him; America is ‘good,’ but only if you ignore the systemic issues; men can never become women, unless they’re trying to dictate what women do; police are never criminals unless they’re ‘good people’ who do his bidding; and criminals aren’t victims unless they’re his friends.
