  1. Idk man. Douglas is already 28. Just seems like 2 years from now most of our defense will be washed. We want to go all in on offense but if we do that we are going to have a defense full of bargain bin guys. Diggs and Kincaid is going to be a pair of 1,000 yard receivers. I mean how many of those do you really need before it’s overkill. We have good depth behind them. We have a great running back. We even have a great backup TE in Knox. The Chiefs just won the Super Bowl with their second best pass catcher being JuJu, and lord knows who the next guy after him was, but whoever it was he was trash. I think you’re one of the only full realists on here. It’s absolutely a rebuild year.
  2. We have a lot of rebuilding to do. I fear people don’t realize what is coming. Diggs is old and unhappy. Both starting safeties are old as hell which is not what you want in your DB’s. Von Miller and tre white are guys in their 30’s trying to come back from career altering injuries for the second time each. Our best LB is also trying to come back from a severe injury at age 30. Daquon Jones Leonard Floyd and Gabe Davis are all UFA’s. Dawkins and Morse are both in their 30’s next year and will be up for free anegcy at the end of next year. Rousseau will need a new contract too after next year.
  3. It was a horrible decision. Thinking you can beat Mahomes by having a good defense is ridiculous. He’s going to put up points. Look what he did to last years number one defense in the Super Bowl. Look what he did in the playoffs to us when we were the number one defense. Look how many points he put up vs the 49ers in the Super Bowl when they were the number one defense. It doesn’t matter. The teams that beat Mahomes in the playoffs have all had these things in common: •Excellent, cerebral decision making QB who isn’t going to take more than what is there, and certainly isn’t going to gift Mahomes extra possessions or great field position by committing boneheaded turnovers (Brady and Burrow) •Strong physical running back who can wear down a defense and help his team control the time of posession (Fournette and Mixon) •Elite level WR 1 and WR 2, with a top tier WR 3 and a good TE. (Evans, Godwin, Brown, old Gronk, and then Chase, Higgins, Boyd, and Hurst) That’s a lot to have. But the reality is it takes a lot to beat him. Teams who have tried to beat him in the playoff by being defensive teams have been shredded. We should be going all out to stack our offense.
  4. Is this a serious question? How on earth could he not be pissed off? This pathetic franchise has zero super bowls. We are losers. Nothing but chokers literally every single year for the entire history of the franchise. Does that not make you want to puke and slam your head through a wall? It makes me want to. We are a joke. All that sucking, all that suffering, and oh my god we finally get out superstar franchise QB. And perfect timing because it was right when Brady left. But oh WAIT. A guy as good or better than Brady comes into the NFL, and the AFC, at the exact same time we get our guy! So we still can’t win! Great! He is taking our guy’s MVPs and Super Bowls. But we hold out hope every year, because its football and crazy things happen. And our guy is still a superstar. The 13 seconds felt supernatural. it felt like some supernatural force directly speaking to the Bills franchise and fans, saying, “You’re not allowed to win.” We try to pull ourselves together after that, we are the favorites for the next year, just to have all kinds of unfortunate stuff happen and then not even make it back to face the Chiefs. And oh Mahomes wins again. We just have to watch what we all feel like could and should be happening for our guy and our team. We regroup again after a brutally painful offseason. They get our hopes up again with a hot September. And then it all starts to fall apart. Our star corner sustains the worst soft tissue injury there is for a fast twitch athlete. A torn Achilles. Do we expect him to come back and still be good next year? No way you can expect that. By next years playoffs he will be 30 years old coming off a torn Achilles and he also has a surgically repaired knee. Our 29 year old stud linebacker blows up his knee. He will be 30 years old next year coming off that serious injury. Not a recipe for individual success in the NFL. Von Miller is done being Von Miller. He’s old and coming off injury this year and anyone expecting him to ever be prime Von Miller again is kidding themselves. He’s 34 years old already. Oh and our star WR doesn’t want to be here. Not to mention he’s entering his 30’s as well. He was frustrated in the offseason because he felt our window was closing, and guess what, it looks like he was right. The young star OC we thought we had turned out to SUCK. The young WR we had such high hopes for turned out to have hands of stone. We are reusing a fired Panthers OC and trying to paint that turd gold. Our head coach deserves to get fired but probably wont. And our GM has given us no confidence that he can rebuild through the draft. Which is the only way we can really rebuild now with all the contracts we have, most notably Josh’s. We are watching our dreams slip away. Josh and the roster he had when he became a superstar was seemingly a gift from the heavens. But now with each passing day it looks like it was a sick tease the entire time. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Well guess what, I’ve been fooled at least 5 times now by the Bills. All four of the super bowls, and now by Josh and that roster we have had the past few years. But the thing that PISSES me off is I have no choice but to allow them to keep fooling me. I could say I am done with this team, but my heart for some reason can’t quit caring tremendously. No matter the rage I am filled with. I get slapped in the face and kicked in the nads time after time after time after time again by this team giving me false hope followed by heart shattering letdowns. And here you are, asking “WhY iS hE sO mAd?” BECAUSE HE’S A BILLS FAN. THAT’S WHY. IF YOU AREN’t PISSED OFF YOU HAVEN’T BEEN PAYING ATTENTION. WHY IS HE MAD?!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? GET OUT OF HERE WITH THAT. WE ARE THE BUTT OF A SICK COSMIC JOKE. WE ARE LOSERS. WE ARE PUNCH LINES. AND I AM FULL OF RAGE ABOUT IT!!! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! SOMETHING HAS TO GIVE. RIGHT?? RIGHT?? GAAHHH I WISH I HATED THE BILLS ANS HATED FOOTBALL
  5. The Jets are a tough draw for Brady’s first game as OC. I am also interested to see what Josh Allen’s mental state looks like. I hope there are no lingering demons from his week 1 nightmare vs them.
  6. It’s easy to write it off as luck for them. But I hope that’s not what the Bills are doing internally. The Chiefs are doing many things better than us. They are drafting better. They are clearly providing their players with far superior preventative medical care, as for 6 years now none of their key guys have had any serious injuries, and ours are injured all the time. They are beating the teams they are supposed to beat. Sure they’ll drop a game like Denver maybe once a year. But for the most part you can count on them to beat who they’re supposed to. They also ramp up their performance as the season progresses, as opposed to burning out in September. If we simply took care of business vs the Jets, Patriots, and Broncos, we’d be feeling pretty damn lucky about the Bengals being eliminated right now too. We’d feel like a lock for the AFC title game. Our game vs KC, who we have had regular season success against, would essentially be winner take the 1 seed.
  7. There is no chance. The Chiefs will be the 1 seed. They are favored in every game the rest of the way and they currently hold the tiebreaker over every team below them. They have a cakewalk to the Super Bowl. Does anyone really think the dolphins have any shot at going into a frigid game in January in KC and beating them? Does anyone really think the Ravens minus Mark Andrews will go in there and beat them? Trevor Lawrence is 0-3 all time vs Mahomes. Chad Henne even put up a touchdown drive vs the Jags for them last year. And Lawrence has been playing like crap this year. The Super Bowl will be the end of a very easy road for KC. The Cowboys, 49ers, and Eagles could all beat the Chiefs. But Andy Reid with extra time is a really hard thing to overcome.
  8. Okay and how many Super Bowl champion QB’s are on that list. I think it would be fine to be that panicked before games if you don’t play qb. Because most other positions can channel that into a blind fight or flight type aggression. But QB is just so cerebral. You need so much composure.
  9. Some people are just mental midgets. Unfortunately I just think that’s what Josh is. One word describes his demeanor on the football field: Spaz. It’s who he is at his core. He is constantly freaking out. He told Kyle Brandt that he vomits befor every game. I mean really? That right there should tell us all we need to know about the panic going through his body when it comes to playing NFL football games. Not to mention the absolutely insane things he’s inexplicably done on the field. Like throwing the ball backwards over his head for no reason in a playoff game. Or trying to do a goal line type horizontal dive over a guy on 3rd down ten yards short of the first. And countless other instances like that. I wonder if he is medicated. There are some really good anxiety medicines out there. J wonder if he needs to be medicating himself before the games. Because at this point I don’t think it’s possible for him to stop freaking out on his own. If it was, he’d have done it by now.
  10. More of the same. Josh Allen has been playing terrible. And we’re hiring the guy who has been directly coaching him to run the offense now. Maybe we catch an opponent off guard in the first week or two with new situational decision making that wasn’t on tape before. Kind of like the raiders have since firing McDaniels. But as far as him being the answer and everything being great going forward. No. He was fired by the panthers for a reason. I lack faith in him because the only time one of his offenses has ever looked great was when his college team had Burrow, Jefferson, Chase, Terrence Marshall, Thaddeus Moss, and Clyde Edwards Helaire. What coach wouldn’t look amazing with that group. I mean shoot they even made coach O look like he knew what he was doing for a while. I just think his entire repuataion comes from that stacked team and he’s done nothing to inspire any confidence before or since then. Hope I’m wrong.
