Basically sent me to the playoffs tonight

His defenses were very good those years and helped a lot. Even Brady's last year it was mostly the defense dragging them to the playoffs and getting the Super Bowl ring in Brady's second to last season there (13-3 win over Rams) McDaniels has been a bum everywhere he's gone without Belichick

Yes, knocked out before the end of the game. Knocked out early before the game ended. A two touchdown lead is nothing with a whole quarter left to play. McDermott is known for blowing leads repeatedly in the fourth quarter.

Dude dragged Mac Jones to the playoffs, Matt Cassel to 11 wins....so definitely not just a guy who only benefitted from Brady...We would be so dominant with him. Allen is on Brady's level with his play. We would so be a lock for a ring.. And I love hes willing to bend the rules to win. McDermott is a bit too goody two shoes for me. Many teams have rings they got while bending the rules and being a bit dirty. Belichick used to coach guys to purposely break rules knowing refs won't call it every play (see playoff games against Mannings Colts where Patriots defenders mugged Colts receivers all game long). That's the kind of attitude we need in the playoffs when refs let more things slide (I've argued we should have just mugged the Chiefs receivers in the 13 second game to kill time at the end and force a hail Mary)

Guess you don't want a proven winner. You are what your record says you are and he's a winner when it comes to getting Super Bowl rings.

Healthy roster. Someone get Allen to stop running until the post season right now and reduced snap count last two games. Keep him healthy

Belichick. Dude has the rings. Two of them came when Brady did very little in both super bowls (13-3 and 20-17 wins over the top offense Rams so that's on his defensive coaching (dude basically shutdown McVay and Goff who were elite that year and Kurt Warner and Mike Martz who were elite). Belichick gets us a ring. His biggest issue is drafting receiver. We have enough in places there for him to fix the defense and get us over the hump

Depends who we play. Gotta hope Ravens get knocked out before they play us, Bengals don't sneak in and Chiefs don't get right. Chargers, Steelers, Colts, Broncos offenses don't scare me.

Perhaps Minshew will be free or that other Raiders dude if they draft someone. Either one may be ok

Why I hope the Bengals keep losing and don't go on a run ..Ravens too because of Henry. Give us the Chargers who often drop passes or Colts or someone.

They've been exposed like every single week. Just don't understand why teams can't snap a ball properly, cant kick a ball properly , cant do basic things against them. Not sure what kind of voodoo they got going on but it's powerful. Never seen a team get so lucky

As someone with a friend who abandoned the NFL when the Chargers left San Diego....I hope both teams just get messed up and this ends in a tie with both teams worse for wear.

Difference is High Schools often don't have the ability to choose the students who attend. You get the class you get based on a students residency unless you are a private school. NFL you can draft people and win them over in free agency. And numerous first round picks McDermott helped pick on defense and all that free agency money spent on it got the same predictable results against a top offense. Zero pass rush. Tons of points scored. Truly great guys like Belichick win games without all that investment against top offenses. See Patriots defense shutting down Mannings Colts repeatedly in the playoffs, even when he had a receiver in Troy Brown playing corner due to injuries. See Belichick beating the great Rams offense twice in Super Bowls where Brady had a tiny fraction of the offensive production in those games compared to what Allen has had in key playoff games. Only thing that changes my mind is a Super Bowl ring. Allen is a top 5 QB of all time with his play and all the records he's breaking. He's done everything necessary to get us a ring with the level of his play

Zero defense for McDermott. Good offenses like the Ravens and Rams killed his defense despite all the free agency money and first round picks and other draft capital spent on it. If we don't win a Super Bowl this year, Belichick needs to be brought in and McDermott punted. Same soft zone defense that simply doesn't get it done . Allen is going to be Rivers 2.0 at this rate

Not a meaningless game with what's at stake. We haven't played a truly good offense all year yet except the Ravens and look what happened. Chiefs don't count as they've been off all year

Should of been a penalty on the pick there but oh well.. McDermott is a clown who got exposed when it matters again. Allen needs MVP because we are the Colts with an injured Manning without him playing in 2011
