  1. To be fair, Beane always waits until the last minute.. I remember the same meltdown was occurring here before we traded for Rasul Douglas
  2. He was on a 17 game pace of 980 yards last year. 940 yards this year. Had over 700 yards and 5 TDs his sophomore season. All of this with really bad QBs. He's had one major injury that I'm aware of. Comparing him to Deonte Harty or Goodwin is pretty stupid IMO
  3. I don't think he's elite by any stretch but he's absolutely better than those dudes IMO
  4. This is a far bigger story than winning this game. He was that "dawg" type player we've desperately needed on the D-line for years. Absolutely brutal.
  5. This aged well
  6. This team needs (and has needed) route runners not big jump ball receivers.. Beane is clueless.
  7. Shadow benching. It's 2025 and Jordan Poyer and Cole Bishop are the starting safeties. Just a complete failure of team building at this position.
  8. Beane's crash out aging like milk... as it was obvious it would.
  9. You can probably tell where we're at in the McDermott cycle
  10. A mid roster, poor GM and questionable coaching are not easy fixes
  11. Seeing as this continues to happen it's apparent either Brady doesn't listen or McDermott isn't really opposed to it
  12. Beane's crashout on WGR was stupid at the time and looks even more stupid today. I do also wonder how much control McDermott has over the draft. I think it's more than most coaches.
  13. The Chiefs have been to like 5 of the last 6 SBs or something crazy. Won 3 of them. We haven't been to ONE with McDermott and Beane. There is no pressure on the Chiefs. We are as Super Bowl or Bust as you can get and it's obvious we have the same glaring coaching/roster issues we've had for years that have prevented us from getting there.
  14. I'm fully ready to move on from Brandon Beane. He has proven himself to be a very poor early round drafter and it seems like we are straddled with bad contracts every year. The roster badly needs a talent upgrade. I would reluctantly stay with McDermott IF he completely gives up on controlling the defense, brings in a legit DC (not someone who is his puppet like Babich) and just focuses on head coaching duties. This will never happen though.
  15. Nah, just give him 3 years 30 million... That's the true Beane way
