4th and 1: fake tush push into pass play
CirclnWagons replied to SunDSolar's topic in The Stadium Wall
After seeing it fail multiple times in the playoffs last year, I’m not a fan of the play but refuse to defend absolutely anything Joe Brady does anymore -
A pulse and availability Sunday afternoons are the only requirements for this years WR room. Pulling for Gabe!

When the strongest armed QB in the league is throwing 80% of his passes for 5 yds or less, it ain’t Bi polar, it’s full on psychosis. Mix in some crazy TE jet sweeps that average a net loss and the bubble screen that we are the only NFL team to not be able to execute and it’s a wonder Joe Brady is still allowed in the state of NY. Add a defense with the guys that wax the floor at the facility starting on the interior line and I’d go ahead and start planning that tropical vacation for the second week in January

Because I pull for a team that’s sole strategy for winning football games is the existence of Josh Allen. No sense of urgency to help him at all, just sending him in to figure it out. Beane reminds me of Kuribayashi during the battle for Iwo Jima sending his troops hard charging into US machine gun nests with nothing more than rocks and sticks once we cut off their supply lines. This WR room is Allen’s rocks and sticks

Hate to say this … but the Pats are effing good
CirclnWagons replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’ve stated this multiple times and been absolutely crushed for it. Top to bottom, the Pats are the far superior roster in terms of talent. Beane continues to stick to his guns on his preference for slow, unathletic receivers and the team continues to be fine telling 17 to just figure it out. It was only a matter of time before we were sent back to the basement of the AFC east even with a once in a generation talent at QB -
Wide right, more draft busts than me selecting my fantasy team during $1 fireball shots night at the Moose lodge, and 13 seconds were way before hard knocks. I’d like to have something like that to blame it on but have been following this team long enough to know better

This regime is bad at picking offensive coordinators
CirclnWagons replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
You could’ve left off the “at picking offensive coordinators” part -
The Bills as an organization have largely bucked the trend of quick, athletic and competent wide receivers, instead choosing sluggish, sometimes awkward candidates with poor route running and bad hands and it isn’t paying the dividends I suppose some hoped it would. I really do hate it for Josh who is having his prime years waisted by an organization that absolutely refuses to get him any help. If only the NFL allowed a period where teams could trade players and assets to try and fill obvious holes in their roster. If only……..

The front office has proven on multiple occasions that their main strategy for winning football games is Josh Allen’s existence. With them refusing to make any moves to give him any support, I wonder if there would be any consideration of letting him run routes and try to maybe throw to himself or possibly start calling the plays. Has he ever played d line?

Unless you find a Time Machine that can take Beane back to the trade deadline, just rewind and rewatch today’s game for the remainder of the season

11/9/25 GAMEDAY Bills at Dolphins Post Game Thread
CirclnWagons replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Call em up! We need all the help we can get. I’m 40 with a beer belly and a bad back, am slow and uncoordinated even amongst my suburban dad peers and have no doubt I could at least find my way into this years WR rotation. -

Even a once in a generation talent like Josh can’t throw the poor excuse we have running routes for us open. He likely hasn’t had this little talent on the outside since high school. The WR room he had at Wyoming no doubt surpassed what we currently have talent wise. He literally has the weight of the entire organization on his shoulders with a front office and coaching staff who proved once again with Beanes inability to make moves by the deadline and Brady continuing to be incompetent as a play caller, they expect him to do absolutely everything. I’ve said it several times, I legit appreciate Beane and McDermott for bringing us back to legitimacy but they ain’t it. Gotta get rid of them or give Josh an out so he can get to a competent organization that will make the most of his other worldly talent. I hate to see him go the way of Marino and never see a Super Bowl ring because Beane and McDermott embrace mediocrity -
I’ll admit that after following this team through the drought, several years have seen me ecstatic just to participate in the post season. Realizing how special #17 is, that’s no longer the case. As a fan base, we can’t accept mediocrity anymore. Playoffs can’t be the bar we strive for with a once in a generation talent under center. Failure to make much needed moves by the deadline along with this debacle has to mark the end of this iteration of the powers that be. I’m thankful for their hard work bringing us back to relevance but settling for good enough is no longer an option

11/9/25 GAMEDAY Bills at Dolphins 1st Half Game Thread
CirclnWagons replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Leave the entire staff and Beane in south beach. The organization is completely content depending on Josh to do absolutely everything and refuse to get him any help. Let him call plays and run practice too. We can find plenty of guys to wear bills gear and walk the sidelines clapping for pennys on the dollar of what we’re paying mcD and staff -

Everyone saying people are overacting, remember the sentiment when we’re home watching the playoffs. Make sure to also work something about not “mortgaging our future” in as well. If Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott are not gone after this game, it won’t happen. At least during the drought we legitimately did not have the talent to get too upset. Perhaps the saddest aspect of the day is after refusing to do anything at the trade deadline, we now have to begin to acknowledge that not only do we have the worst WR room in the nfl, we most likely have a mid to lower tier wr room compared to the college ranks. If we’re going to solely rely on Josh and Josh only, better teach him to play defense, WR and special teams too and having him call plays couldn’t be worse than what we have now -

Here’s hoping LSU can get Brady sooner than later and get his 2 yard passes down 10 out of Buffalo. Beane and the entire organization proved once again that beating KC in the regular season is their Super Bowl. At least when they get smart and cut him Keon can land a gig on the strip in Vegas as he has his disappearing act down. Another of Josh’s prime years waisted. It’s almost not fair to him at this point. Let him go be successful with a team that isn’t so worried about “mortgaging their future” they refuse to do what it takes to win now -

Because several other teams got deals done for the same players Brandon was after. Sure some just were non starters but deals were done. Let’s worry about “mortgaging our future” when we’re not getting curb stomped by bottom tier opponents -

Failed miserably at the trade deadline. Beane has got to go. McD gotta at least have bags packed and for those who lined up to tell me that the patriots WERE NOT more talented than the bills, hope you’ve flipped over to their game by now and came to your senses -

For all of those so worried about “mortgaging the future” by making moves at the trade deadline, what’s your thoughts on the present? -

CirclnWagons replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was wondering what the strategy of the 2-3 yard passes in the 4th quarter while down 10 on the road was and now they throw another surprise into the mix and fumble the ball. Man these bills keep me guessing. Almost as good of a mystery as doing nothing at the trade deadline. Never a dull moment with this crew unless it’s attempting a pass to Keon -
Perspective Matters: The Offense Is Producing
CirclnWagons replied to Magox's topic in The Stadium Wall
We have the best QB in the league and what is looking like the best RB in the league and that helps open up avenues for what is a lower tier corp of receivers. Facts are facts. Could they get better as the year goes on and could Brady do a better job of scheming them open? Absolutely! But a legitimate #1 receiver could’ve really blown the lid off what’s already a superb offense. Wishful thinking I guess -
Semantics. My point stands

Deebo?? Seriously? Trying to sign Deebo today is like when Arnold finally found a turbo man doll only to find out it’s the Spanish speaking version. Just wait till he shows up 30lbs overweight and ruptures his bicep signing his new deal. No thanks
