  1. Should have a promotional ticket deal for the last year at highmark for 50% off ticket price for any fans alive the last time the bills could stop the run
  2. Doesn’t look like anyone told the saints they were supposed to get blown out.
  3. No doubt the chiefs will be in the thick of things come playoff time but I did take wayyy too much pleasure in how upset THEIR fans got on a missed call yesterday. The reality of the national football league hits much harder when your team doesn’t have a 12th man on the field wearing an officiating uniform
  4. Hearing Romos call on the radio, I fully expected get home to see a noseless Josh Allen, getting his fifth blood transfusion before being airlifted out of MetLife while members of the o line sifted through bits of field turf, trying to find shreds of battered nostril. I bet romo really wishes he could’ve run for Dallas like he did with what amounted to be just another day at the office for Josh.
  5. If Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry and Zay Flowers live on your waiver wire, can you send me an invite to your league next season?
  6. Can’t pinpoint it but every year they seem to have that one game where absolutely nothing goes right. The game plan is horrible and the players that live on the waiver wire of your 20 team fantasy league all of the sudden become world beaters. When does it happen? Who knows but there’s just too much talent in the NFL to make it through unscathed.
  7. Rapp and Bishop seemed to be at least semi lucid and cognizant to time and space. They faced the correct side of the field when lining up on defense and seemed to have a solid understanding that they were supposed to limit the catching of the ball by the people that weren’t wearing the same color jersey they were. Overall, a huge improvement over week 1 I’d say.
  8. Zero rhythm on offense again. Is Brady going to wait for the fourth again to start letting Josh throw passes over 5 yards?
  9. Offense looked in mid season form. Decent pass rush and ok job keeping Lamar hemmed in most of the night. Run fits were awful and in their defense, it’s tough trying to tackle a small truck in shoulder pads. We won’t see a better run game. Thought Oliver looked like the best player on either defense and even though Bosa didn’t help much in run defense, it’s nice to have a legit pass rush on the other side of groot. Imagine this team with safeties that weren’t lost the majority of the ballgame and could be scary down the road. I’d take Po and Hyde in their 50s over what’s back there right now
  10. What am I missing with Cole Bishop? High draft pick, has been constantly injured throughout his short tenure in Buffalo. Read several articles and heard a ton on podcasts and OBL about him having a phenomenal winter in buffalo. How his body is finally right and he’s been in the playbook all off season. Dudes been smoked like a dime store menthol across two games. Cannot be depended on to hold down a safety spot. Is it safe to say it’s time to bring Po back if it’s a team friendly deal?
  11. I take this game for what it was, a statement from a new bears coach at home desperately trying to let Chicago know he has righted the ship against what was mostly buffalos 2nd-3rd even 4th option on the depth chart. Having said that, it’d be foolish to think there shouldn’t be some significant worry here with our secondary, a few of which will be heavily depended on this season. The drop in talent level between 1 and 2 is devastating on this squad and as we’ve all seen, a lot of these depth guys will be called on getting into the latter weeks of the season. Nothing I saw last night made me feel good about where this team is at. I’ll put away my soap box now
  12. I must’ve mistook the Milano blitz that triggered the false start, the pinch Oliver and Andreesen pulled off twice and Lewis showing blitz only to fall out and have Rousseau take D to alley for stunts. I’ll take the my bad on those
  13. You talking to me or the pass rush? I was watching a true rookie qb have the time to go through ALL of his check downs before delivering a dime for a TD and couldn’t tell. I’m not down on them, just haven’t seen a pass rush in Buffalo since Bruce and call me crazy but I think getting one could possibly get us past the third week in January once in a while
  14. 6-7 for 28 and the closest bill to him being a car payment isn’t a good look this early when offenses are still as vanilla as ice ice baby
  15. Yet another season with zero pass rush. At least Josh having to score 50 a game to have a shot to win isn’t anything new.
  16. McD not throwing that challenge flag was Buffalo packing it in for the day. Need to get the starters out before you get someone else hurt for a game you’re not even trying to win
  17. McD gotta throw the challenge flag. He might not care about wins and losses this year but the players still do
  18. If we pull out the entire bag of tricks on opening day, we won’t be able to figure out any new ways to lose later on in the season
  19. The offense said they’d take the defense’s complete inability to contain and coverage busts and raise them ridiculous penalties in key situations and at least one man coming free on every play
  20. Will be referring to the team as the Buffalo Josh Allen’s until any of the other 52 on the team decide they’re going to play
  21. He’s calling them. Josh just isn’t throwing them. Was locked on Kincaid when he slipped under shakirs post and had Coleman dragging the end zone on the first one he ran that was called back. Trust isn’t there. I’ll take the tds wherever we can get them at this point
  22. Did someone tell Josh he was only allowed to throw once per 4 plays?
  23. I remember vividly getting absolutely destroyed on this board when I said after the moves of the off season, we would be lucky to get a wild card………….
  24. Downplay it all you want but there were some very concerning things going on. Not saying the season is doomed but the confusion on coverage responsibility was very apparent starting with what was plugged in as the first group. Defense, though understandably keeping it very vanilla, was not gap sound and for the most part the bears o line inflicted their will on our starters. Our own o line got routinely blown up as well especially the tackles battling the 4is and 5s. The offensive timing was way off even on the most mundane run plays but hopefully reps will solve that. Not taking anything away from the bears and i do realize they already had a game under their belt but that was a really poor initial outing. Thankfully they’ll live to fight another day and nowhere near sky is falling level but if some of these glaring issues don’t get fixed, could be a rough one.
  25. Bryan Cox for his general d baggery and Frank Wycheck (RIP) otherwise decent dude but threw the forward pass that will be shown on every CBS playoff game opening scene for eternity
