He is a smart player who can read the defense fast and make the right throw, his downfall is he has a weak arm and in Buffalo's weather in a 3rd and 12 type situation he doesn't have the ability to break off that 15 yard skinny post between a linebacker and a safety. He is a good smart qb though. reminds me of a poor mans wade wilson. He is much better than Trubisky.

this is true and all organizations know it. however if your starter goes dow for say 4 weeks you would like to think you can still get good enough play to go 2-2 and stay in the race. that is probably why so many teams keep the Trubisky's around. He looked awful today.

Trey Lance stinks again tonight. He throws a slant as poorly as trubisky does and his terrible throw just got their tight end schoonmaker lit up

Thad Brown has no idea what he is talking about. He should never be listened to on any matters of the nfl if he really said this. Rule number 1, one of the first things qb's are taught is never to throw a slant above a wr's head. Its dangerous for the player and for the ball to be tipped in the air. The ball is to be between the numbers or down low where the wr catches it going to the ground. Thad Brown is either looking for attention on social media and/or has no idea what he is talking about.

that is a terrible pass. That ball has to hit him between the numbers or down low. Not to mention it looked like phil niekro threw it. textbook definition of a medicine ball. If he goes all out and extends he is going to get hammered.

Jerry Rice and Steve Largent might have gone without a catch tonight judging from how bad trubisky was.

Trubisky was awful tonight he was taking the snap and staring at guys and holding the ball. That can't happen from a veteran quarterback playing in a situation where the team needs him to throw the ball to the wr to figure out this is going to go. imo, they should have come out forced Coleman the ball over and over to get him into the game. Throwing the ball to knox is great but the team needs to see coleman and others get experience.

well I disagree. Rush can read a defense he just lacks arm strength. He went 5-1 when Dak was out two years ago. Davis mills has the tools at least.

Cooper Rush, Davis Mills, Tyson Bagent, Ryan Tannehill, Nate Sudfeld and maybe tommy devito etc they are into trubisky for nearly 3 million this year so he is not going anywhere unfortunately

i'd rather have a kicking tee that the rb's could just pick up the ball off of. seriously the bills can do better than trubisky. There will be better players available that get cut in two weeks.

Nope that was a medicine ball. That throw can get a player killed. That throw should have between his numbers or in a spot low where only he can catch it. Just like last week it was high and away.

That must explain all those Dolphins and 49ers championships recently. Dallas had like 9 all pro's last year and Buffalo ran them off the field with their terrible roster.

Coleman looked pretty damn good on that slant but the qb threw him a medicine ball. A good throw and that is a TD every time.

my takeaway from the first half is Mitch Trubisky just holds the ball. It looked like there were guys open a lot and he just stands there staring at something. Twice I saw Coleman wide open in the space between the corner and the safety which should have been easy pitch and catch first downs and he didn't even look his way. The throw on that play action backside slant was horrendous. Coleman should have two TD's this summer but trubisky is god awful. After week 1 when cuts are made they might need to go get a more competent number 2 even though that is unconventional that late in the years. Also, you can inject Ray Davis right into my veins he looks terrific to me.
