this is an interesting take. They have good players on each level. They play a 3-4 and that can cause some problems for offensive lines early in the year if they do a good job disguising pressure. They have a great safety and a decent group of linebackers. Because of injuries they do seem to lack a natural 34 OLB who can rush the passer though. the flip side to the 3-4 is that if you can block it well you can kill it in the running game. I have to think if they win the game they will have rushed for 150 yards or more as a team.

The fine folks at Buffalo Plus said Trubisky was limping around like he is really injured and looked like he will miss at least 4 games. He could be headed to IR. it seems there will be a new QB brought in for sure. It just cant be dinucci week 1.

the bummer about week 1 is that San Francisco is a mash unit right now and the jets are healthy and ready to go. I don't gamble but if I did I would take the jets to win. I kind of think the jets might win by 10 or more. Their front seven is going to shut down the running game and put it on purdy and with all those guys injured and holding out that is not going to end well. when the bills play the 49ers they will probably be rolling with everyone back and it will be a tough offense to stop.

if he fit in and I think he would he would not be that expensive and next year they have money available. If they had him here all year and went into next year and drafted another wr in the first or second this group we be pretty good, a mix of veterans and young guys.

I can't kick anybody's ass nor would I want to. I stopped just short of getting a black belt in Tae Kwon Do when I was a kid because it was getting in the way of baseball. Back then I could have defended myself pretty well. Today I would just offer to buy anybody who wants to fight a beer and get over it.

I'm not a fan of trading Elam but if it brought back slayton I could be convinced, he seems perfect to me for this offense and his speed outside is the missing piece. He would take Hollins off the field completely by october. Coleman, Shakir, Samuels and Slayton is respectable. They all have a unique skill. Coupled with this running game and this group of tight ends this would be a good group. the downside is slayton is looking for an extension and elam has time left after this year. I would love to see Beane get creative and do something like Elam and Chicago's 4 and a 2026 5 or 6 for Darius Slayton and Azeez Oljulari. Oljulari is a better version of jonathan. they both are in the last year of their deals and are looking for extensions however. this will never happen but it would help both teams and the bills would not be giving up much here considering the way ingram and hardy have played.

Yes because I live DFW and would miss games without it! my son is in college so I only payed I think 110 or whatever it was.

they are going to be great running the ball and that is going to help not having a superstar wr. Teams don't like being run on and it sometimes makes them abandon their plans and change in game. I think they are going to be fine throwing the football because of how good the tight ends and running backs are.

Defensive end or wide receiver. Then it will depend on spencer brown's situation if they take a tackle or not. I also think the secondary is going to get remade in the next two drafts. Corner and safety.

this seems to be the type of player the bills are staying away from. A veteran who wants a contract and is chirping about it. I think they have taken the no saviors philosophy this offseason. You would have to give up a draft pick and extend a player you do not know.

they are going to need someone who is big enough to play the run at the end since solomon and miller are specialists essentially. I think since this was toohills first time playing this summer he may get a break. just feels like they need another end who can play the run. I don't think jonathan makes the team. They have the starters and smoot at end who will play the run well. Maybe I am crazy I just think they need a traditional strong side end who can force the runnning game back inside. Seems like they dont have that type of guy. I dont think the d-line is as good as people seem to make it out to be. I hope they add a player to this group over the next 48 hours.

The Giants or the Patriots. Maybe the Bears. Living in the northeast is better than any part of the country, the weather changes make the year and the football season feel special. The fans are better in the northeast also. The south and the west care about college football more than the nfl.

If this guy was drafted in the 6th round no one would know who he is. He would be just like all the other qb's playing in the third preseason game. Dallas is stuck with him this year because his money is guaranteed. Seems like they are going to have to keep rush on the roster also and not risk him.

the thing that stuck out to me was Kingsley jonathan playing all the way to the end. That could just be a numbers thing with the lineman who were available or it could be the were giving him one last shot to actually do something before they move on. personally I don't think he is worth keeping at this point but they have an issue at end because miller is an old pass rush specialist and solomon is a rookie who will not hold up yet paying a 17+(hopefully) game season. So they essentially have two ends they have to keep who are never really going to play base downs or are not really built to play the run at this point. That makes me believe they might keep a bigger guy like toohill and put jonathan on the PS. Maybe a trade or waiver claim there also. the player I think want to keep in case of emergency but have no room for is Lael Collins. Probably a practice squad signing. He can go where he wants but I don't think he will be in demand, he is always hurt. and of course kicker. Much like backup qb they have to go find a new one here. Or they could keep bass because they have the thursday night game right away and after that thursday night game they could bring someone with the extra days to prepare. This team is ready to run the football. They have an excellent group of running backs and the line and tight ends look excellent to me.

They are 0-3 in the playoffs against them because the defense makes critical mistakes everytime. Blown coverages, missed tackles, no pressure on mahomes etc. Its no conspiracy the defense just does not show up. In the regular season they get pressure, they get takeaways and seemingly do not make simple mistakes.

Philly does it a lot actually. They seemingly trade with Dallas on draft day every year. If both sides are confident in their beliefs it shouldn't matter that the team is in your division. From Washington's perspective they got a 3rd round pick from the eagles, which might be philly's or miami's 3 whoever ends up worse they will take that pick. So they got a really good asset and removed a player they did not think fit in with either their system or their locker room or something...so from their perspective they dumped a guy on the eagles and got a 3rd round pick back.

at the moment I do not think they are, he is their number 4. I do wonder though since they refused to give him a new contract if they would move him on cut day if someone like buffalo offered a 4. If they did do it I would want them to extend him for like two years. He would be a great home run hitter here and his speed would be a great asset.

this is true everywhere I think except on the offensive line. I have a feeling they are going to put collins and another player on the practice squad and then go long at the position. Teams will move day 3 pics for lineman on both sides of the ball so they can avoid the waiver line. Last year Beane got a 6 (2025) for Basham.

You didn't like the signings of any of the wr this offseason and now you want to give up 3 picks including a 3rd rounder in next years draft for a guy who is essentially not as good as samuel and also is a guy who has called out his organization which means if he is unhappy he is going to be a pain. Seems like weird logic. If this years wr group struggles so much and it turns into the disaster so many here say it will be wouldn't the best move be to have as many picks next year and cap space as possible so they can make a big move in the offseason and then maybe again in the draft? seems like giving up those picks right now is bad business and will hurt the teams abilities next spring to make moves for much better players.
