I can't disagree with this enough. What the bills have developed over the last 5 weeks is a Toughness u get when u run the ball. In the past they would have abandoned the run and put it all on allen...sink or swim. Today because they have learned to stay with the run and keep the attempts up they were able to push the pile on that final drive a few times and get first downs. This is what has been missing with this team. To me they have developed a mental toughness. When u stay with the run and say we are going to keep doing it knowing u may be sacrificing shots at bigger plays in the passing games it just creates a mental toughness and shortens the game. I personally have loved this approach. I am loving the play action deep shots even though they have resulted in int the past two weeks. I am confident they are going to hit those going forward. The defense has shown with this current group they will be aggressive and it seems like they have the personnel and the timing down. That first half defense was terrific. To me this is winning football.

Nope. Division games are hard. Belichick is the all time best Defensive coordinator. A few passes that looked rushed and were inaccurate, a few drops and u get a close game. A close game was expected. The bills showed tons of toughness and mental toughness today. This was a great win.

yea, no You are playing to win there and you have one of the toughest players in the league to bring down. It was the perfect play. Kicking the field goal creates a ton of potential problems that could get u beat. Penalty, bad snap, a blocked kick that is picked up and then scored with, a fluke miss...etc. The bills played it perfectly.

What a game. I can now exhale. The Bills have developed a toughness and lost style points over the last 5 games and it is great. all that matters is winning. Great second half to play smart and tough and hang in there to win the game. That punt saved the season.

I am making Diamonds out of coal over here. I hope they come out on defense get a sack and a quick 3 and out and start with good field position. I feel like we will know right away if belichick is more worried about josh or the running game.

I just want to add besides the absurd ending, the officials missed a blatant PI on jourdan lewis. He was all over the lions wr before and after the ball was thrown and there was no flag...they just let dallas do it on that final drive but the lions overcame it. I really hope Detroit gets a shot at them again. If Dallas wins in the wc round and detroit does too if the seahawks were to be the 7 and upset philly which is a 50 50 game Dallas would go to detroit and seattle to SF. This would be great.

they didn't trick brad allen. allen screwed up who reported eligible. the fact that he was told they were doing this in pregame makes it even worse since he should have been expecting it. but hey jimmy johnson went into the redneck ring of honor and that is what really matters.

if andy reid did the same thing and the officials didn't screw up who was eligible the national media would be rubbing one out tonight in unison to the genius of Andy Reid. Instead this will somehow by the middle of the week turn into a mistake by Campbell and the lions.

that makes perfect sense when coupled with what campbell said in the press conference. He told them this is how they were going to do it in the pregame and the officials screwed it up. amazing.

that doesn't really make sense though because they announce the player who is eligible and i think if i remember correctly they said skipper before the snap.

wow dan campbell said he even told the officials in the pregame that they were going to do that and decker would be eligible. He insists only decker reported and that is what it looks like on the video. Two lineman cant report obviously and they said 70 reported instead. good lord. the playoffs are set up for the biggest controversies ever....I hope Buffalo is on the positive side of that.

its the opposite of desperate its ridiculously aggressive which is how they played the whole game. they were all out on defense with pressure...every play leaving everyone singled up on the outside. this was detroit saying we are just going for it all night from start to finish. They lost on a Technicality. Its a shame because they made the play to win the game. no idea who declared eligible at the end but that is an awful way for the officials to change the outcome the flag was thrown 2 minutes after the play. if these two play again it would be in detroit, I would like to detroit in that game.

well that penalty is going to have to be explained very clearly.

He is better. That was just a lazy poor throw. that should have been an easy completion if he just puts it out in front of him but it was just bad.

what a terrible throw detroit is the 3 seed.

they just continue to play man to man and bring pressure. free releases off the line and simple catches.

there they are..every home game late Dallas gets tons of penalties that go their way.
