Clearly Aiyuk is more physically talented and the better blocker. However if taken out of that system in SF and then given the biggest wr contract in the nfl is he worth it? For what buffalo would have to give up and then pay for aiyuk is he that much of a difference maker over a guy like samuels who has very similar numbers, is roughly the same size and has a history with brady. I just don't see it. He plays on a team filled with elite talent on offense in the leagues premiere offensive system. It really doesn't seem like they have any interest in trading him anyway.

I am exhausted with this topic but essentially interceptions happen. The more important thing to look at with interceptions is when they happen. The buffalo bills are pretty good at quarterback. I wish fans who are looking for something to complain about would put that energy where to me it appears it belongs, the defensive line. It looks like a very average group that is going to struggle this year. The von miller contract was and is a total disaster. Hopefully next year when miller is off the books they can find a real dominant pass rusher from free agency or the draft.

They have a 31 million dollar dead cap hit for steve diggs.

So a long way of complaining about Josh Allen on this fine start to a holiday weekend? That is my takeaway from this. You should have arm punted this idea.

I was hoping they would bring in the H-Back type tight end to replace Gilliam but as of right now gilliam has a role. Maybe Gore and Davis change that in the summer though.

I am not trying to start a fight but what exactly does Aiyuk bring to the table that Samuels does not? You can make the case Samuels is better because of his abilities in the rushing game. Aiyuk has returned punts and samuels has returned kicks. The big difference to me is that Aiyuk has been in offensive heaven in shannahan's offense and samuels has been in NFL purgatory in D.C. Aiyuk requires giving up a valuable draft pick plus he wants to be the highest paid wr in the league at the moment. So again, what exactly does he do that is special that would make the buffalo front office say we have to go get that guy....especially when they signed samuels for 3 years. I can see the desire for metcalf, he is unique. I have zero understanding in what it is people are pining for in Aiyuk and Deebo.

well I was talking about the original premise of next years offseason but to this statement I think their have been some excellent additions to the offense most importantly the atmosphere and who is looking up to who. But it appears your needle is going to continue to skip on Diggs, Diggs, Diggs. So great if that is what gets u through the offseason thats fine.

well here it means adding to the group of pass catchers. Buffalo has built an excellent running game and has a fabulous quarterback. So naturally adding to Allen, The O-Line, Cook, Davis, Knox, Kincaid, Coleman, Shakir, Samuel. Essentially the backend of the wr room is going to fluctuate like the dline is. If no one emerges as the top outside guy then I imagine they will seek one out in the draft/free agency as the top outside guy. On the flip side if coleman works out and they like having guys who lineup all over I would imagine they are drafting middle rd wr again or mid level guys in free agency. I am pretty positive this is a good group on offense. I am not so sure the defensive line and cornerback group is anything special. I will go as far as saying this team right now to me will not get over the hump in the AFC as they are currently on Defense.

they voided all of steve's future years into 2024 and only have him under contract for this year. He is going to save another franchise in 2025.

I don't know. We don't have Steve Diggs anymore and he was him...like the best player on the team. Josh Allen might turn around and run the wrong way this year he will be so lost without Ol' Steve Diggs.

He will end up working for a network covering the cowboys or directly working for the cowboys. Although I am not sure how well he would fit in over there.

I was told a few days ago by my friend who works in the league that their is a team that wanted Ray Davis and were going to make him their starting back but did not want to pick him until the 5th or late 4th and then Buffalo took him. Then they were questioning if they should have just taken him in the third. Apparently the people pulling for him in the room lost out to the other voices based on the position they ended up taking. They didn't think RB should be taken as high as the third in this draft. Seems like they are regretting it is what I was told.

Gee could have just listened to Pearl Jam 30 years ago.. But everyone hung them out to dry and none of the other big bands/artists in any genre stood with them.

I haven't seen anything written about him yet and admittedly OTA's are a near impossible place to judge RB's but I really am looking forward to hearing about Ray Davis. I have high hopes for Davis.

What Bills road trips are you doing this year?
MikePJ76 replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
My plans have changed from the titans game to the chiefs game and the prices are going to kill me! the game is going to be great though. -
What kind of season are you expecting from Josh Allen this year?
MikePJ76 replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm sorry but are you proposing that Morse wanted to get cut and go play somewhere else because he didn't want to play with Josh Allen? You are saying in effect he wanted to leave one of the best fanbases and best quarterbacks in the game so that he could go sign in one of the worst parts of the worst part of the country and play with a lesser player on a team with almost no fanbase. and you are saying that he somehow had something to do with getting cut in Buffalo in order to do this. Did you seriously understand what you were typing? -

probably like 5 passing touchdowns and 1 rushing touchdown and maybe like 1500 yards passing. 35 interceptions. I just don't see how he can function without stephon diggs holding his hand and teaching him nfl football. he has no one to throw the ball to and the worst group of wr since maybe the 1921 Decatur Staleys. this is what it is like reading this board sometimes. -
My hot take on this team is that the Defensive line is the weak spot. Barring the rookie actually being a legitimate pass rusher I think there are going to be some issues over the course of the season in hitting the quarterback. on the flip side I think they will be excellent against the run. Hopefully the secondary will be outstanding making the line better. I am all for them continuing to try and add talent on the D Line.

I don't know who is in the tougher spot Dallas or Miami. They have offenses that are ready to go with the qb's but the qb's because of the market are going to be paid way more than they are worth yet the team will not win in the short term without them. These guys are going to get like 60 a year.
