Cool makes sense that is true. I do like that shakir got his snaps this year. Hoping for great things in year 3. But yeah. The trenches and defensive players do get thrown out there as rookies. I'd love to see a WR or two get drafted and play heavy. That's for sure.

I get it. 35 catches and 7tds. Good red zone guy, blocker and a need. Gabe, to me, is a little bit of an outlier. So you may not like my answer (you may idk) but I'm looking at guys like cook, yep he was behind Singletary, shakir to a good degree and Kincaid (yes I understand that Kincaid was somewhat historical) but how many times did we see cook benched for fumbling when other fumbled and still played? How often did we see shinier make plays with the limited opportunity and wonder why he wasn't ever given more chances? Kincaid was used what around week 5 or so and then would get plays at the beginning of a game and then we wouldn't see home the rest of the game. The dude could have been used way more and succeeded. I don't have all the answers. It's an eye thing. It's also a thing that many have talked about so I in ow I'm not alone when I just think that Buffalo is slow to get their rookie skill guys playing. I hope that clears up where I'm coming from be it correct on my part or not. Go Bills!....next year

I can't say for certain, because that would be speculative, but you may be right.

It's odd that the blogger would say he knows for certain and then say it's only speculation. I feel like it got to be one or the other.

Crazy he acts all flippant and noncommittal with this guys and cryptic with tweets and then when he talks to our media during the season, he acts all charming and funny and like nothing was ever going on. (thats was a crazy run on sentence. Sorry)

Not to get too deep, but maybe it's a good thing to share about. Culture seems to glorify cheating or getting out there as much as you can. It's cool if him and his wife are working it out and succeeding. More people should be open and honest instead of acting fake and putting on faces to make everyone believe they are perfect.

Agreed. Sure we may get a good player or two, but so will KC, Cinci, Miami and so on. It all equals out, so it really does come back to coaching.

My eyes saw that it seems like with Dorsey, there were some explosive plays but coupled with duds. Brady I don't feel had a ton of explosive moments but there was a balance there. I think in the long run we'll see that both are going to be about the same.

Crazy how that happens. You get coaches fired because the QB isn't good enough and then you get coaches who would have probably been fired if not for being bailed out by Good QB play. As much as I hate to compliment KC, that is what makes them who they are. Great QB and Coach.

I fully agree with your comment on unproven players. Green bay was killin it this year with unproven talent. The Bills won't see true potential in,say shakir until next year. His third year!! Defense-play em. Oline and Dline- play em. Skill players- sit em and then when they get a chance and mess up once- sit em again.

Not saying McD is perfect. In fact I've been pretty pissed about a handful of his decisions, but I remember the turnstile of coaches we went through during the drought. That sucked too.
