A and PCR. so you take the sample, put it on a cassette, push the cassette into the machine and it spits out a result. and you need to calibrate the machine maybe once a day? And even then, physicians will report aberrant results, sometimes requiring recalibration or change of controls. So that part can be challenging I guess. My question was what is the difference in methodology for the in house vs POC tests. Maybe there's a difference but why reinvent a pretty good POC test? Wouldn't America be better off if Putin died from Covid?
-
so educate me. In the hallowed halls of the lab, what is the methodology for rsv, flu, strep, covid multi tests? How do you do all those tests on one nasal swab sample with pipettes, chromatography or bench reagents? My career more than satisfied me. So why was it ok for trump to give scarce testing materials to Putin? You guys do handstands to justify his treason. The best thing for the US would have been putin dying from covid.

This was surprisingly difficult to findhttps://info.cepheid.com/l/287772/2021-08-02/2jln25?utm_campaign=2024-NAM-US-PARENT-PPC-SEARCH-BRAND-PCRplus&utm_medium=cpc&LeadCampaignID=701Hs000002IU3hIAG&utm_source=bing&utm_term=Cepheid pcr&utm_content=broad-match&msclkid=9cc79526d1fa10a40d28f22e92594066 The GeneXpert and GeneXpert Infinity Systems are available in 2 to 80 modules to meet your lab capacity testing needs and can run our entire menu of tests. Cepheid's GeneXpert Xpress utilizes the same cartridge and module technology in a point of care system designed for near-patient healthcare settings capable of running our CLIA-waived respiratory testing menu. let's keep playing. this is good fun/. A sed rate is a nonspecific test for inflammation but can help with some rheumatologic dxes. If it very high a nothing else is suggested, you look for cancer. Obviously many other causes- infection, lupus, polymyalgia rheumatic, temporsal arteritis, nephritis, myocarditis but this is easily searched unlike the methodology for the multi covid test.

We don’t have virology departments in our hospitals. These tests are done on cassettes on idiot proof instruments just like chemistries. Even you could do them. But toxicology. Yeah. Different story. And bs, I don’t need to know what subdept of the lab does any test. I used to do plasma catecholamine assays at my tox station. When a urologist or endo had a question hecalled the pathologist who directed them to me. Did you really work in a hospital? Shite most of the time I had residents who would follow up on questionable labs for me

Bs. https://insurancenewsnet.com/oarticle/florida-is-worst-and-first-in-what-climate-change-is-doing-to-property-insurance-rates-faces-a-property-value-crash I have no desire to subsidize insurance for climate deniers in Fla. you’re more than welcome to

But much of the loss in Florida is insured by federal flood insurance as it is elsewhere. Maybe the 2025 agenda on this issue is a good one. Get rid of it. Let high risk areas foot their own bill or move. And yes, it is socialism that disproportionately benefits red areas. Recurring theme…

So if testing capacity was poor ( it was), why send any supplies to our enemy? Why not use those for Americans? Beside the practical effect, there’s the massive symbolism of favoring a murderous dictator over everyday Americans. How do you rationalize that? The more you post, the more you appear a Russian troll…methinks you protest too much to Russian criticism I know much about it. Worked in a clinical lab for a year and have several pathologist friends who I frequently discuss lab issues with including Covid testing. What exactly is the source of your supposed expertise?
-
Such bs. We didn’t have any Covid tests for months in our local hospitals. They were send outs to Labcorp etc and took several days to get back. In that situation, why send any testing materials to our enemy? Use every available resource on Americans. It seems that’s what MAGAs say until Russia is involved No doubt, the cassettes and reagents were sent along with the instruments to Putin otherwise they would be useless. In what demented universe does that make sense? Did that gesture stop Putin from invading Ukraine? I think the Russians have now lost 700000 to the war and you think a few tests were going to make a difference on Putin starting the war. He was and is determined to colonize Ukraine. This was a grand gesture meant to show trump’s fealty to Putin. You’re delusional.

We went to Damascus today. It's a mess but recovering well. FEMA was there, Virginia EMA and the United Way. There's an old medium sized box store full of supplies. They're not accepting more. There were residents picking up food, water, clothing, snacks... The state police were there when we finished our shift. You sign a waiver, write your name on a piece of tape to put on your shirt and tie piece of knitting wool on your wrist. We carpooled into the rectory of the Methodist church. Underneath was choked with soaked insulation, mud, trees, windows, some tools, all kinds of stuff. A lady from the church brought lunch. The rest of town is like a big construction site especially in the area we were in. The house next door was off its foundation, broken in half, with a nissan sentra wedged under the garage half.' At the volunteer center they also had nurses giving free vaccines. They didn't need a doc today. It's going to set back the people and the town but the recovery effort was impressive.

I hope you're correct. She should be much further ahead of this obvious slime ball however. I'd certainly settle for a 1 electoral vote victory but we know that trump wouldn't accept it. Sadly, we need a bigger cushion to lower the chance of a repeat Jan 6 type event. -
Why do you need to be a disgusting pig in every post? Is that the image you're going for? good job. that's your appearance here. These are changes in position and language She needs to move to the middle to win. And we need her to win. I don't consider these examples lies but if you do then you have many more, much bigger lies to offend you from trump. The big lie is still out there. Perhaps you still believe it. Lots of dumb MAGAs do. Re the reflection of the tribes on the board, there are several obvious liars here in regards to their credentials and expertise on the MAGA side. I can't think of anyone on the liberal side that has made statements that should raise suspicion. I'd also remind you that fake internet accounts and misinformation sites overwhelmingly support MAGA. Many of the "expert" bloggers quoted here by MAGAs were employed by Russians

Had the chance to meet Kaine a few times. most recently before my wife's naturalization ceremony, by chance, in restaurant. He and his wife are the real deal. no pretense. He wasn't pressing for our votes. He was just a very decent, nice guy. No wonder he did so poorly in the 2016 VP debates. He's not a pitbull. He's a lab. And he's moderate. This is the model we should be advancing.. Kamala's who we''ve got. She's left of Kaine. Certainly less accessible here in Va but has my vote against trump. Shocked right? -

Ok. She wasn't my first choice. Who would you have chosen were you a D (gasp).? Me? Tim Kaine. -
There's always room for criticism. I'll go with pick Mark Kelly instead of Walz. Astronaut, devoted husband and father, smart as hell. What's not to like. Secondly, she needs more Q and A. Go on Fox. Meet the press etc. More aggressive anti trump ads.
