  1. show us an article on Arkansas. Pastor Huckabee and his (insert insult) daughter have got to be very pissed. Don't ya think? If not, feel free to expound
  2. So, I know almost nothing on the college players. I'm looking at the post draft vitals and speeds and predraft rankings and I thought...that was pretty safe excerpt the trade up. who knows, he could be the D line savior. They did it for a reason. So A- on my very limited information. I hope I'm underestimating. I think they targeted the correct areas of need.
  3. This article makes my head hurt. Way too dense. The writer should be hung. What was your point? https://search.yahoo.com/search?p=repair+cracks+in+asphalt&fr=iphone&.tsrc=apple
  4. Yup. AI and russian trolls don't think like this. There was a time I was always serious....now I can grow my own weed.
  5. no idea what you mean. We collect 2 bucks from every Rotary member every meeting for club parties. Next one is here with left over cheese from a wine and cheese fundraiser. There was no wine left so we'll use the funds. Someone has some retro fondue pots from Montgomery Ward in the 70's. Very mad men. I met a surgeon originally from Galveston the other night. He's my friend's biz partner. I have a new neighbor who wants me to clean up a fence line. F him. He's a trumper... The guy from Galveston was nice, especially for a surgeon. Never knew Galveston was an island.
  6. it would be much better for the economy if he had a coherent, consistent plan. but hopefully he sees the error in the tariffs. ridiculous plan. navarro belongs in a psych hospital.
  7. perhaps that's because rates are still quite high and trump is caving on many fronts, most importantly the fed chair and China... https://www.wsj.com/politics/elections/the-never-surrender-president-retreats-9b82807e
  8. we were discussing 10 year. big difference. https://ycharts.com/indicators/10_year_treasury_rate 4.79 in Jan 25.
  9. what social experiment. We had a high level military official as a speaker for our civic club. He said international "rice bowl" operation such as those our organization helped fund were more effective than shooting wars and helped prevent them. rice is cheaper than bullets and missiles. You know, the kind of stuff USAID did. Agree?
  10. delta sonic was a car wash when I lived in wny. try the graphene. you'll thank me.
  11. Wow. I don't know a carwash here anywhere near that cheap. Try the graphene if they have it. Supposed to last 5 years or something. Amazing shine.
  12. Wow. this is very bad news. 40,00 families that will likely be struggling. no one wis a trade war except maybe China...
  13. congrats. you caught me. good job. 1 point for you. Bernie still rocks. $3 mil doesn't change the equation. He's earned it. He lives a comfortable, not opulent life. He actually aims to help the folks below the top 10% or so. He wouldn't look to benefit financially from the presidency. He's a good man.
  14. Trump responded angrily, calling it “disgraceful” for a religious leader to question his faith and accusing Mexico of manipulating the Pope. The bitter and very public exchange saw Trump label Francis as “a very political person.” as far as globally, trump is attacking virtually every nation with tariffs and threatening to annex Canada and Greenland. No wonder he's under attack.
  15. pay day loans for groceries. more winning for the working class from trump's policies. https://www.cnbc.com/2025/04/26/americans-groceries-buy-now-pay-later-loans.html
  16. No one should be surprised. do you not believe that's merited? no. "they" assume everyone is redeemable....like Jesus did.
  17. so are we. you can't do 2 things at once? well, it seems the Vatican injected Pope Francis' negative opinion of trump into the homily. Just a fact.
  18. Bernie's net worth is less than $1mil at age 83.. Pretty low for someone who has been a congressman or senator for many years and continues to work full time. I suspect he is one of the lowest net worth Senators. He has repeatedly donated his book royalties. he could be significantly richer than he is and by American standards, should be. He's been extremely successful selling his books and his presence at speaking appearances and yet he's not a millionaire. 750k net worth doesn't bother me a bit. https://moneywise.com/life/lifestyle/bernie-sanders-net-worth Can't be bothered to look up AOC's net worth but I believe it's about 200k. For a ***** laude grad of BC who has also been more successful than 99% of the population by winning and holding a house seat and rising within the party, that seems pretty low. If making money was a high priority, she (and bernie) would have much more. As far as flying first class or privately, They are on an exhausting, multi city, multi state tour. They are celebrities. They need some privacy. They need security from rabid MAGAs (remember Paul Pelosi?) Doesn't bother me a bit. low info voter...
  19. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/trump-gets-called-out-in-front-of-millions-at-pope-s-funeral/ar-AA1DF1y2
  20. I Agree. I do sympathize with younger folks who are struggling. Boomers had very lucky timing. And still there are many with little to no savings. Greed is destroying the world, not just the country. Many more truly poor people in Africa or Asia or Palestine...but that doesn't help Americans who can't afford a house and don't see themselves ever being able to. I'm a Bernie supporter and have been for a while. Maybe people will start to see that his ideas can't do any worse the trump's. Biden left the economy much better than it is now. If a Bernie like candidate appears to have no chance, I'll vote for a D.
  21. Here. I highlighted the best bits President Trump in an interview published Friday was adamant that he is serious about his talk of adding Canada as the 51st state, something Canadian leaders have outright rejected. The president sat down for an interview with Time magazine, during which a reporter suggested Trump may have been “trolling a little bit” with his repeated comments that Canada should be absorbed into the United States. “Actually, no, I’m not,” Trump said in the interview, which was conducted Tuesday. “I think Canada, what you said that, ‘Well, that one, I might be trolling.’ But I’m really not trolling,” Trump added. “Canada is an interesting case.” The president repeated his frequent claims that the U.S. is losing money to Canada because of trade deficits and that there is no need for America to import Canadian products.
  22. here's the constant timing problem: guessing when and if prices will start increasing again. If we get a stable prez eventually and the prices go up 10%, you better buy. If your selling, you probably wait, but for how long?
  23. I heard it on a spotify playlist. Didn't know it was a cover but I guess that's why they were pretending to read the lyrics.
  24. he said it again today. How do you know when to believe him? https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/5267087-trump-trolling-canada-51st-state/
