  1. yet, that would be God's will if it happened, wouldn't it? Praying likely wouldn't change that decision.
  2. infections of any type often cause mental status changes in the elderly. while there is no way to know for certain, acute changes like this often clear or return to baseline after the infection has cleared.
  3. Yes. This team has karma. Every player thinks he can help them win and morale and cohesiveness are excellent. SB year.
  4. i don't know since it's "to spite your face". but I just heard a great line from my wife: "What would you expect from people who would sacrifice their grandparents during covid to go to Applebees." Crash and burn indeed but not looking forward to it.
  5. He aspires to be an authoritarian. He has told us. You haven’t been listening.
  6. Firstly, I'm still a doctor. That can never be taken away. Even have an active license but don't plan on going back to work. The fact that you recognize special insight is encouraging. I wish more people respected the expertise of scientists and physicians at that time but there was an active anti science campaign nationally, especially among MAGAs. They didn't want our help until they got sick. Then they demanded it and we provided it. There were times where all ICU beds were full in my area. No ventilators left. And many people died. Had the vaccine been universally administered, we would have never reached that point.
  7. I was still in practice during the height of covid. The overwhelming majority of ICU covid patients and deaths from covid were unvaxed. nazism was in style in the 30's and 40's. it was tragic. what is in style can be catastrophic. Millions of lives were saved by the vax https://www.cidrap.umn.edu/covid-19/report-covid-19-vaccines-saved-us-115-trillion-3-million-lives https://www.commonwealthfund.org/blog/2022/two-years-covid-vaccines-prevented-millions-deaths-hospitalizations
  8. prices were similar in all 1st world countries at the time. inflation is actually lower here than most nations. so I think we've done ok. and the stock market has been consistently excellent. because a vaccine to save lives is the same as genocide in concentration camps. shameless and absurd.
  9. I remember my dad buying gas in WNY for 35 cents a gallon. No one thought milk would ever go for $1 per gallon nor bread for $1 a loaf. And we ate wonder bread. Lord knows why. Crispy, crusty bread is where it's at. Inflation happens. $3200 list in 1970 http://artpictures.club/autumn-2023.html
  10. The argument is that what sells win. Superficial wins over profound.
  11. Almost nothing is simple. But yes, that’s how one sells it successfully.
  12. Nope. Need to know what the sycophants are pushing. Always been true but more true than ever. Guess who wins this game. Bread and circuses won this time Not new
  13. Post some data, dude. Never see it from MAGAs cuz science and critical analysis are taboo. Climate science is bs…The earth is only 5000 years old…all the earth’s species were loaded on an ark…Evolution is not true, etc.
  14. This is such bs. Many of us look at conservative sites as well. Talk about bs...many stories easily disproved by primary sources but I still watch to discern the agenda.
  15. No doubt you have branches on your ranch. beaches seem improbable.
  16. Even on a road trip, no patience for moronic trolls. Bye.
  17. Look up anecdotal evidence then see Orlando’s posts about hotels and prices.
  18. Tariffs are taxes https://taxfoundation.org/research/all/federal/tariffs/ I look at multiple sources to form opinions, not the least of which are opinions of academics who study the history and economic data in great detail. By definition these are intellectuals. No doubt you discount their expertise.
  19. Do you understand the difference between anecdotal evidence and data? Didn’t think so
  20. Your anecdotes are interesting if not meaningful.
  21. Also from the linked article According to the U.S. Census Bureau, you can expect to spend an average of $287.27 a week on groceriesin Florida, the fifth most expensive state in the nation after California, Nevada, Mississippi and Washington. With children in the house, Floridians spend, on average, $341.40 a week.
  22. So what caused the highest inflation in the country in April 2024? Yacht prices in Miami?
  23. Gee, I wonder who’s side trump will ultimately take https://www.foxnews.com/politics/big-oil-breaks-trump-potential-second-withdrawal-from-paris-climate-agreement.amp
