  1. You like what you like. Pilsner for me and it’s a good one
  2. hmmm...and how would you know that? ibid. above...
  3. Belgian...dumb ass https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stella_Artois I really didn't read that thread closely. Put in my 2 cents that the new girl is much more appealing to me (on the surface). Was it liberals that didn't approve more than cons?
  4. you realize she could end up the owner of the Bills. Would you hand in your fan card?
  5. I'd take her as a member of my club in a NY minute.
  6. I don't use twitter but it sounds like she's a smart young, liberal white woman...and I understand she's quite successful. You don't do a fundraiser at a controversial site unless you want money only from one side. Is Poyer really this dumb? Played in many golf fundraisers. Never been to one with an overtly political agenda. The biggest complaint is usually that not enough drink coupons are included. They're really not that difficult to organize successfully.
  7. if you go looking for weirdness and aberrancy, you will find it. On both extremes:
  8. even you get things right on occassion
  9. wow. an f u apology. virtuous
  10. how often do you beat your children? We had a picnic here yesterday. Parents brought their kids. The dad's and boys were down at the pond fishing with me. A 4 yo caught his first fish. A 9 yo caught 3 nice bass. I guess I could be accused of grooming them to take up fishing as a hobby. Makes me happy!
  11. i couldn't care less about Bud light. I don't think I've had once since I was 16. Stella is my go to.
  12. Maybe it wasn't a great idea to pick a club owned by a man that half the country despises? He lost sponsorship from ECMC from what I read. No one is obligated to enter a political lions den to help with a fundraiser. He could have replaced the money himself and just shut up. I'm thinking Adidas and Nike commercial offers won't be flooding in to Poyer. He's a good player tho. I can ignore his stupidity. He's only got a few good years left
  13. there's no honor among thieves https://www.theguardian.com/media/2023/jun/24/fox-news-tucker-carlson-dispute
  14. misogyny for sure. I wonder if anyone has done a study on the incidence of misogyny and it's relationship to the frequency of getting laid. the thread was purposefully inflammatory. His response was totally predictable...but you know that.
  15. Great song. I wonder if people will look back on the fashions today and think "what was wrong with them?" Those clothes are just not right. To be fair, McDonald looks pretty cool.
  16. Because so many liberal white women take their kids to gay parades...c'mopn. These are outliers. Not anywhere near the norm of professional , business and skilled liberal women I know. These are serious people who often have a good deal of responsibility. You all are still living in the middle ages. Chastity belts are relics.
  17. you must be older than I was when married in my mid 20's. before that, politics had no effect on dating. Marriage, yes. Dating, no.
  18. not my experience at all. Plenty of strong, resilient women. They're the ones you want imo. life gets tough at times and it's huge to have a fighter on your side. All the women in my family and in laws except for one aberrant branch, are at least as liberal as I am and they're pretty headstrong and pretty successful. I'm not going to generalize women's attitudes any more than that.

  20. what is that?
  21. buying now. This comment sold me: "Bill Browder has become one of the most sincerely hated men in the Kremlin over the years--and that is something to be incredibly proud of. . . . This book shows the difference that one person can make when they refuse to back down, as told by a fellow soldier in the battle to hold Putin to account." -- Nadya Tolokonnikova and Masha Alekhina, members of ***** Riot
  22. some interesting comments from a British financier who worked in Russia in this piece but basically we have no clue what happened. Hopefully our spies do. https://www.the-sun.com/news/8447136/wagner-group-russia-ukraine-coup-putin/ Mr Browder, a former financier who worked in Russia and has since been taking on Putin, said he didn't believe the crisis was over. "There's no way to de-escalate because Putin can't forgive somebody who has disrespected him in such a powerful way," he told The Sun. "Putin already tried to kill Prigozhin, and he understands they'll probably try it again. I think nobody trusts anyone there now." "Let's just say that if this thing does de-escalate - there's gonna be a massive purge of the Kremlin like we've never seen before. "Putin is going to go after everybody he distrusts in every possible way and it's going to be a total disaster for all people inside the establishment as Putin tests their loyalty because this is the scariest thing that has ever happened to Putin." "They've emptied out the prisons, and now they're going to fill them up with perceived enemies of the regime."
  23. yeah, just read about her. She uses trump's praise as advertising for her book. But even MAGA's are right twice a day as to what time it is...
