  1. same mental illness, different uniform
  2. sadly, it takes a shiteload of morons being fooled for this plan to work. Sadly, the US has that right now. these people aren'''''t religious. they've redefined that word to fit their selfish plans. the resident nazi speaks
  3. your propagandists ride in on their black horse. " refusal to turn on" despite the fact that the submarine drones were in the black sea, approaching the Russian fleet until they weren't and harmlessly washed ashore. this is what the same disinformation site said a couple days before: @SystemUpdate_ Jeffrey Sachs tells @ggreenwald : “I saw Senator Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut say, ‘this is money well spent.’ Money well spent throwing tens of thousands of Ukrainians to their tragic and needless deaths.” The Ukraine war is a disaster for the very people it supposedly helps, which American Senators are ok with because they think it shows American resolve to Russia, but in reality exposes the incompetence of Washington, NATO, and everyone involved." purely unbiased reporting don't you know. NC lives in a basement echo chamber...
  4. narcissism on steroids. It's always about him yet they believe he cares about them because he supposedly listens. plays them like dime store guitars....
  5. My fav band from Rhythm and roots this weekend. Many Bills fans. Go Bills yells, aa couple hugs and one free beer wearing the 17 jersey
  6. Well, that's amazing. So you have your conspiracies, I have my doubts. Lots of money can buy lots of bs....
  7. yes, they do. I think it was u that brought it up. that and Mexico was gonna pay for it all....
  8. The border is a symptom. The source is poverty and misery. D’s want to address those. R’s not so much Nope. The prez of the US is appropriately involved in geopolitics. Musk is not. No double standard
  9. https://www.hrsa.gov/about/news/press-releases/rcorps-2023-awards#:~:text=Biden Harris Administration Invests More, and Other Opioid Overdose Risks Can't decide if it's willful ignorance or just plain ignorance. I suppose it depends on the topic.
  10. Another complex issue. If we had less poverty n places like Appalachia it would help the thirst for numbness there. Universal health care with better mental health availability and addiction treatment would help as well. Dems generally support all of these. R's do not. Exactly, and before that said they were happy to help in their "fight for freedom"..it's purposefully contradictory imo. They knew this story would come out. They were covering their asses before it did, albeit unsuccessfully. As the writer said, did she imagine the fight for freedom to not include offensive military capabilities? This is why the distinction between turning off and not approving the use of starlink in that area is crucial. The fact that the submarine drones were approaching the russian fleet and then drifted aimlessly suggests the former. Also the excerpts from an interview with musk in the book do. Kapeesh?
  11. What double standard? I'd imagine Biden didn't want the war to escalate to this level. Hoped putin would pull back from internal pressure after losing so much blood and treasure (which almost happened with mercenary tanks within miles of Moscow). Didn't happen so he sent the jets. Or he listened to his military advisors and sent them when they felt it was necessary. Maybe the analysis of complex issues is beyond your abilities.
  12. Nope. https://www.reuters.com/world/us-approves-sending-f-16s-ukraine-denmark-netherlands-2023-08-17/ Untrue. See the quote I provided from spaceX COO in 2022. But you MAGA's just ignore facts and then lie. I'm glad I started this thread. It illustrates the disingenuity of the cons and the knowledge base they lack and don't even attempt to obtain.
  13. geez, you cons are so creative! what are you 13 years old? Talking about an action that resulted in babies being killed and you think it's funny. Kinda like Jan 6 or the Kashogi dismemberment. You MAGA's are disgusting and truly deplorable.
  14. So wait. They're not using Starlink to coordinate missile attacks or troop movements that would be considered offensive military action? We're they doing those by morse code or walkie talkie? Why the carve out for drones. This nonsense is what the SpaceX's COO said in 2022 apparently in regards to this incident: And no one should be surprised that SpaceX was wielded like a weapon in this way, either. Gwynne Shotwell, SpaceX's chief operating officer and president, told CNBC's Michael Sheetz in 2022 that SpaceX was "really pleased to be able to provide Ukraine connectivity and help them in their fight for freedom." That sentiment was immediately undermined, however, when she waffled nonsensically, seemingly oblivious to how freedom is won in warfare. In her caveats, she noted reports of Ukrainian soldiers using Starlink "for drones" in March 2022, and said their use "for the military is fine, but our intent was never to have them use it for offensive purposes." How does Eric Pistey know the terms of service when the US Foreign aid and donors who were paying Musk have not even been identified? btw, who the hell is he? Apparently a 53 yo resident of South Carolina with no relevant credentials who follows Musk and supports his every move including Musks contention that the Chinese Ballons shot down were actually alien UFO's. https://www.republicworld.com/world-news/us-news/elon-musk-reacts-after-us-fighter-jets-shoot-down-ufo-says-some-of-my-alien-friends-dot-articleshow.html
  15. FALSE. stop right there.
  16. diagram the relevancy of that one too.
  17. He said "Economic civil war". Seems reasonable since so many Red states disproportionally take tax money... If trump wins he'll be against civil war cuz he'll be authoritarian. Who is our authoritarian leader now? A feeble old man that supports unions? And it's not one person saying it. Several MAGA congress critters have said it.
  18. https://themessenger.com/business/is-ramaswamy-the-biz-whiz-he-claims-to-be Seems like the appropriate trump replacement. Another con man. “The truth is he goes for flamboyance and finding greater fools to buy into his illusions,” says the well-respected Yale Professor Jeffrey Sonnenfeld, who along with colleague Steven Tian has done extensive research into Ramaswamy’s career. Yes, indeed.
  19. Written by R Emitt Tyrell author of "The D🤣eath of Liberalism". Sure that's happening...While MAGA implodes. I don't despise him for his money. Like the hack wrote, there are quite a few multi billionaires. I'd like them taxed more aggressively but I don't resent them for their success. Along as they didn't break the law getting there. The reason I despise him is that he has decided to take sides in geopolitical affairs. Through twitter and starlink. And he seems to choose authoritarian sides more often than not...
  20. one side is considering civil war. one side is not
  21. More detail here from the European (British) paper https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2023/sep/08/elon-musk-committed-evil-starlink-order-ukraine CNN on Thursday quoted an excerpt from the biography Elon Musk by Walter Isaacson, which described how armed submarine drones were approaching a Russian fleet near the Crimean coast when they “lost connectivity and washed ashore harmlessly”. The biography, due out on Tuesday, alleges Musk ordered Starlink engineers to turn off the service in the area of the attack because of his concern that Vladimir Putin would respond with nuclear weapons to a Ukrainian attack on Russian-occupied Crimea. Also on Friday, Ukrainian deputy prime minister Mykhailo Fedorov told the Financial Times that Musk shared with Isaacson confidential exchanges about military access to Starlink without permission from Fedorov. “It’s not very pretty,” Fedorov told the Financial Times. “I’ve never shown or talked about our correspondence publicly.”
  22. Nope, the story came out of a pre release of a Musk authorized biography. Apparently there are emails between a Ukrainian diplomat and he concerning the incident. This will be interesting to read. I doubt we will ever know the strings attached to the financial aid provided to Musk from US foreign aid agency and donors or the conditions contracted with the Pentagon, thus we don't know if he'll pull this shite again. But to claim we are basing our deep concerns on biased media or unreliable sources is bs. Musk has already corroborated some of it albeit with a difference in wording between "turned off" and didn't turn on...The distinction is important, in part to show whether Musk is truthful but more importantly, did he stop a service Ukraine was expecting (?entitled to) from the arrangement.
  23. Well reasoned piece. The full Salon article https://www.salon.com/2023/09/08/musk-starlink-and-hypocrisy-elons-benedict-arnold-moment-shows-us-cant-have-it-both-ways/
  24. Wow. From links to the fact that Musk signed military contracts to Nazis. You wanna diagram that regression and cite where "libs' suggest it? sounds more like election denying...
  25. The first link noted funding from a "US Foreign aid" source and donors. We're presumalby talking millions per month so It's fair to assume there was a contract. I don't believe the foreign aid and the donors just threw monet at him with no conditions. Perhaps, the book coming out next week will shed more light.
