  1. Pretty sure they’d prefer a president who openly admires autocrats.
  2. Where’s your law degree from? Undergrad? The majority of MAGAs have 6 years less formal education than her. But they’re “smart”.
  3. We don’t like you and your ilk. We have little in common. We hope you remain losers. That’s not a threat. It’s a hope.
  4. I thought he was compelling. He spoke the truth. That’s always the right thing to do https://www.thewrap.com/obama-roasts-trump-bibles-diaper-pittsburgh-rally-video/
  5. What sounds threatening? Nihilism? Yes, it is very threatening.
  6. Great piece. He distills the current mood to a single word: nihilism. We’ve entered the abyss where any sordid actions can be justified. Conclusion is solid The world feels dark; for many people, it’s tempting to meet that with a retreat into the delusion that they’ve got everything figured out, that the powers that be have conspired against them directly. But in turning away, they exacerbate a crisis that has characterized the Trump era, one that will reverberate to Election Day and beyond. Americans are divided not just by political beliefs but by whether they believe in a shared reality—or desire one at all.
  7. “Make them riot”. Terrifying to see the control they know they have over their rubes.
  8. Therefore, no books are to be believed because money is involved in all of them. Actually, money is involved in nearly everything in life. So nothing is to be believed. Kind of a foundational fascist tactic…
  9. Nope. wages have gone up significantly. and a recent poll showed most people would rather have inflation lower and wages stagnant even if their buying power was reduced. Stupid MAGAs.
  10. comrade, it would be more effective if you showed the picture from the photo op and confirmed what was done with the supplies. Oh and please don't disclose the political affiliation of the "whistle blower". Be better. signed, your boss.
  11. Have some cheap vodka with your borscht, Boris.
  12. The communities in my area are recovering slowly but surely from the horrible impact of helene with the help of able fed and state agencies. Global warming is real and here. Which side wants to try and improve it (it's too f'in late)? One side incites insurrections in our most sacred government spaces. but as long as you personally (might) do better....wanna buy some uninsurable swamp land in Fla? There's a poster here that says it's absolutely wonderful.
  13. what we do know for certain is that you're no north star. let someone else follow you into the sewer.
  14. he's bright even if from Long Island. He's an opportunist and player but good at it because he's analytical. i think he's right on about hillary. also commented on Jill Stein and Bannon getting big donors to send her money. trump asked him to be in his cabinet and he refused in 16. fascinating recollection of election day 16, Giuliani among many other snakes in the grass by his side, celebrating. trump actually gobsmacked that he won...but he got over it.
  15. i was listening to scaramucci, katy kay(?) podcast recently. scaramucci was all in on trump in 2016. he has deep regrets as do many others once in his inside circle. this episode was about hillary losing. that was the start of all this crap. he said she was a bad candidate. couldn't connect with the common people but the biggest reason she lost was that she was "white smacked" for following obama. white folks, particularly non college educated ones, are aware that whites will become a minority in 2045. they don't like that. they also don't like being called deplorable even if true. still, she won the popular vote by 3 mil. it's a good podcast. highly recommended.
  16. Not at all. Trump and MAGAs are the radicals. He has fundamentally changed political decorum and discourse. He has normalized overt lying and corruption. He has festered doubt in our bedrock institutions. Yeah, I’m for status quo, stability, prudence, honesty, decency. I’d like to think those were status quo pre trump.
  17. I like the status quo. trump is not that.
  18. great. you did your job. And I did y job when i reported strangely elevated K+ levels. And the pathologist did his job. Good for us all.
  19. Seems dumb. Radio is dying. But he's right much more often than wrong. At least he's not a Russian oligarch who owns a media corporation like RT
  20. yes, America sucks for you. We get it.
  21. If it isn't, it should be. Pathologists certainly agree, in my experience. "Dr Smith, is it true that Dr Jones was concerned about potassium levels coming out of your lab and Mr Brown died during that same time period from an arrhythmia associated with abnormal potassium levels?" They don't want that.
  22. they wouldn't be needed were there very rarely errors. or at least they'd be very rarely needed. Direct observation by clinicians is an important part of QC. No doubt that's in some MT handbook. btw, Obama's killing it in Pittsburg
  23. the misinformation is that they want Harris. They wanted trump in 16, 20, and now. Even before then https://www.businessinsider.com/russia-cultivating-trump-asset-40-years-says-ex-kgb-spy-2021-1
  24. how rarely is "very rarely"? I'd see it every few months. perhaps our lab was under par. I don't think so.
  25. and why should we believe a guy that used misinformation to rise up the far right media? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Bongino
