  1. It’s humiliating for Diggs really. That trade makes him look like a bum.
  2. Diggs didn't seem fully integral to Brady's game plan last season. Doesn't feel like he needs a superstar WR - just a few good ones. Get the interceptions out of Josh's games and play a more conservative and consistent offence. It's a great deal for the Texans - Diggs is pure showtime - but I'm okay with moving on. He's a pretty high maintenance dude.
  3. Professional game, professional players I obviously don’t wish him well, but it doesn’t tarnish his legacy one bit
  4. I don't really like this deal. But McDermott knows safeties better than me.
  5. Sad to see Mitch go. It's the way of the world but he was a proper Bill to me.
  6. Allen’s had it over mahomes every time they’ve played lately. It’s the defence that couldn’t match 15
  7. Not really. That game couldn't have possibly hurt more. This year I knew it was over the moment I saw the replay of Bernard's ankle v Pittsburgh. From that point, I thought we were going to have to ask too much from players who would never normally be playing that late into the season. In the end I was almost pleased by how close they came.
  8. Leslie Fraizer is a dude and I wish only good things for him. Glad someone has seen his worth.
  9. I think he’s better than Brady
  10. John Elway's career is the one I look to when I see Josh
  11. It’s true, but I think my granny would have managed to pick Hutchinson at number 2 overall.
  12. He was QB coach the year before
  13. first incomplete pass
  14. Logic got logic
  15. I'm going to go in person. I've noticed that a ticket is just upwards of $7,000 on stubhub - which is cheap at twice the price for someone who is indifferent to both teams at best. I'll check hotels and flights now.
  16. It's not a bad call. If Kansas can give Mahomes a former head coach like Nagy to work with him last year, it's certainly not beneath us.
  17. I felt our offence was going to score on 8 out 10 drives after Brady took over. He wasn't super complicated, but with Josh you don't need to be. He's not the world's best OC but, again, I don't think he needs to be. I like the hire because I like his feel for a game. He gets us down the field. Daboll would do that and then struggle a bit in the red zone - lots of trick plays to compensate for no run game, whereas Dorsey barely got us down the field at all unless Josh found it easy. Or so it felt. It feels that if you've limited talent, you need a superstar OC for sure. But if you've got the talent- and for the most part, we do - you need someone who can call the games well based on what you're up against. It's a boring hire. But I'm down with it. I woudln't mind a bit more boring, effective predictabilty on offence next year. Plus, Josh has got that magic if it's required.
  18. Be interesting to see how quickly if at all Lions fans forgive Campbell for this - even if it was more luck than blame. He's the best thing that's happened to them in years. But we've seen ourselves how these things play out.
  19. It's a bit unfair to be sarcastic on a forum, as nobody can hear tone but for clarity a) i don't think there are NFL scriptwriters b) I don't think this is the superbowl we ALL wanted (i think buffalo would feature in that one) c) if anyone's wearing tin foil hats, it's literally the lions 🥸
  20. Can't even imagine how much that hurts a team that's never been to the big show The football gods are cruel AF
  21. That's EXACTLY what I'm saying, yes.
  22. Credit to the NFL scriptwriters, though. At least we get the superbowl we ALL wanted to see
  23. I didn't hate that call. The one before was worse IMO
  24. Lions fans can't be used to this. We know how nerve wracking this is. Poor bastards.
  25. Detroit were winning this with their heads. They are losing it with their hearts
