1 year 12 million, with incentives up to 20. add void years to lower hit it's a fairly big if....but if he can stay on the field, Benford + Jaire is quite a tandem. Certainly among the best. The secondary is still really in need of more talent.

I can't stand the guy, but he's very good. The defense badly needed top tier talent. This guy meets that. Considering we tried to acquire him a few months ago, I assume Beane would still have a lot of interest. Hairston could be CB3 and that's perfectly fine

I can see us signing him for cheap during the summer with the expectation he may not get much playing time and just to help mentor the younger players
