    The emotional and mental aspect everyone on that field went through FAR outweighs it....... If anything, the Bills and Bengals need a Bye week before their playoff games

    Really depends on any announcements / outcome of Saturday's game. Also a reason you play your starters in our case could be to get the nerves / anxiety / stress out of their system before a playoff game

    NFL may be toying with adding an 8th seed to the playoffs going forward. Not just for this season. Although then the Bye week would be eliminated, so I'm not a fan

    Don't be so sure. I expect a hybrid solution. 1. No Bye, 8 teams get in. 2. Split the 1 seed benefits. 1 seed picks Bye or Home Field, 2 seed gets other 3. AFC Title Game neutral field if two of BUF KC CIN make it.

    Since KC hasn't played a road playoff game in the last 4 years and has hosted 4 consecutive AFC Championship games.... I could see them electing home field instead of the bye I would prefer the bye

    Where did you hear this, was Adam S just talking about it? I had mentioned the idea yesterday Assuming KC wins Saturday, they get the choice of Bye or Home Field and may make their choice based on the 7 seed opponent
