James Cook
I’m going with Cook and Ty Johnson. That kid runs hard and has shown he’s a pretty good receiver.

It will be interesting to see what wrinkles Reid has planned for this game. Bills need to be very aware throughout. Hopefully we can run successfully which would make play action that much more effective, especially with Kincaid and Knox.

Just need to avoid any in-game injuries as our depth is lean to say the least.

oh, well glad you asked. Cause there has been 57 super bowls and not one has been won by a running quarterback. Josh Allen running is the Bills identity because the brain trust hasnt given him a runner to compliment him. Need a big play?, Josh's legs...short yardage? All Josh. Best runner on the team, Josh Allen. Maybe after the Dallas game Cook caught a little attention from opposing coordinators. Usually he's ignored and will spurt a few before a couple negative plays that puts them behind the chains, and Josh is looked to for the bail out. 4th quarter to run the clock out? looks like Johnson won that job if the Pittsburgh game is any indicator. Idk why they just dont give him the lions share of the carries during the game. Bottom line a running quarterback only gets you so far as determined by the history of the NFL.
Steve Young was a really great running quarterback.

What the gm says in public to try to maintain cohesion among the team vs. what they really think can be very different. It also puts the ball in Tua’s court to come to an agreement.

When critical plays needed to be made Josh looked for Diggs and found him each time to keep the chains moving. He is still The Man. Go Bills!!🏈

There was a game back in the 80’s I believe that I was at where our opponents punt blew backwards. I think the opponent was Philadelphia.

A slick field is definitely an advantage for offenses, both in the running and passing game. Pass rush is limited, linebackers and db’s can’t change direction. Gap integrity will be critical.

Quick passes to playoff Lenny in the flat and 10 yard passes to Kincaid and Shakir.
Agree 100%!👍

The man knows how to engage his brain before opening up his mouth. Wish more players had that demeanor and class. Josh is great on and off the field. Go Bills!!!🏈🍻😁

Dabo Sweeney guess who you are getting a call from shortly
Inside word is Dan Lanning from Oregon. Used to coach linebackers at Georgia.

Tough shoes to fill. I feel sorry for Bama’s next coach. Wonder who it will be?

I know it’s not the NFL, but it’s reported that Nick Saban is retiring. Not sure if it’s legit. Couldn’t copy the post.

They will try to jam the ball down our throats, but we need to be stout against the run. They will also try dump passes, especially to Warren. I don’t think we will see many downfield throws unless the game starts getting away from them. That will be turnover time. Would love to be able to have a lead allowing our d linemen pin their ears back and get after Rudolph.

I agree that he played well. Especially for a guy who hasn’t seen the field for quite some time. Very encouraging.

Some good bulletin board material from Paul Zeisse from the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. Says he would much rather face Allen in Buffalo than Mahomes in KC. Says Allen is basically a million dollar talent with a ten cent head, or not too far off. Roast ‘em Josh! Go Bills!!!🏈

It’s great to see both Shakir and Kincaid make huge contributions. Bodes well moving forward. Start adding Knox into the mix and we could be even more dangerous in these playoffs.

Can you imagine the anxiety on this board if the Jaguars had won? OMG!

At least he stayed in uniform. That would make me believe he will be back sometime in the playoffs. If he needs to sit out the Steelers game I'm OK with that.

Wow! WOW! WOW! I mentioned in a post earlier this week that we would need some heroes. We got them!

who were the heroes from week 4 when we spanked the pants off the dolphins?
Diggs caught three td’s, Rousseau had two sacks and Hyde had a pick.

We will need some heroes in this game, not just Josh. Just like Rasul Douglas last week. No dropped passes, no stupid penalties, everyone on top of their game. It will be an indication of coaching preparation for big games, which we have seen at times, but not as consistently as we might like. Might try to punish them with the ground game between Cook and Johnson. I really like how hard Ty Johnson runs. Keep the fish offense off the field. When the fins do have the ball make them pay. You know with their depleted roster McDaniel will try to pull something unexpected. Be ready. Go Bills!!

Divisional Playoffs - Chiefs at Bills - Post game thread

Our blitzes were brutal. Saw some linebacker blitzes where both linebackers were on the same side of the field and Mahomes just had to step to one side or step up to avoid the blitz. When you take those chances you have to, at the very least, make the qb hurry his throws. We couldn’t even do that. I also wonder how much longer Josh can drive himself the way he does, and find the internal motivation. I marvel that he still does it now. Go Bills!
