Some of the losers were some of the players chosen. Great wideouts or a tight end going to teams without someone to get them the ball.

I’ll see who we get with their 3rd rd pick and then decide. Gunner didn’t even have a 1st rd grade on Xavier worthy. Neither did Joe Marino. Chiefs would likely have taken him at 32 regardless. Bills clearly didn’t want him at 28. His nfl.com draft profile grade says “might eventually become an average starter” …
Agree whole heartedly! Also the kid weighs 165 at the most. Highly unlikely he stands up to the punishment in the NFL. There are a very few who overcome that, but very few. Let’s add quality players without reaching. I think it’s a smart strategy. Also KC has become the new darlings of the media, just like the Cheatriots were previously. They were always considered the smartest at the draft and yet New England picks failed miserably for years.

Don’t understand why everyone is complaining. For a long time they’ve been saying they want the Bills to pick 32nd.😆

The first head scratcher could very well be a quarterback that pundits have a 2nd round grade on him, but it only takes one team to fall in love with the dude. Possibly Bo Nix or Penix.
Boom, boom!!

If Beane finds a willing partner, I think he trades out of the first round. I just don’t see enough talent falling to warrant moving up. I also think once that talent is depleted he would prefer extra picks in the second and/or third round.

This is probably the best explanation.
The NIL machine is heating up and players are staying longer in college if they can make 2-4M per year
Very true.

I'm on the WR train for this year but I agree that they shouldn't force anything and they need to look at this as they have two years to address these key positions so don't reach for any of them in this draft.
If the Bills can’t swing a deal that makes sense, or their wr choices are gone, then I would not be upset with grabbing Powers-Johnson out of Oregon.

Awful idea
I agree. His experience and ability to read and react are invaluable. Those young backers can learn a ton from him.

There really is no comparison. Go watch some of Robinson play. He is fast, quick and strong. He is disruptive, but still needs a to develop more pass rush moves. Will he be great? I don’t know that, but he won’t be a flat bust like Maybin.
My point was that he basically has done it for one year, has one move and needs to develop, like you said. I doubt he busts, but there are similarities between him and Maybin.

Could be the case with another Penn State player this year, Chop Robinson.

Every year there are teams that take a player most had pegged as third rounders in the first round, whether it be the Raiders, New England, whoever. Who will it be this year? Which team, or teams, will reach for a player that makes everyone say “Huh?”. I love when this happens because it just means someone is falling closer to the Bills.

Josh has been the ultimate adult and teammate throughout this process. He has handled the situation like a true professional and I am proud to say he is our quarterback. Go Bills!🏈🍻

My money is on Ladd. He is Diggs, without Diggs younger long ball ability. Ladd will absolutely torch you from 5 - 15 yards.
They need to figure out the long ball still, but lets be honest with ourselves, Allen's long ball ability isn't very good. Should we really be looking for a long ball WR if Allen struggles with accuracy on the long ball?
I think McConkey can be the “go to” money guy, in the same way Beasley and Edelman were. However I think McConkey will be a better YAC dude.

Ron McDole! I know that’s going way back, but Rauch said he was washed up, only for him to have multiple all pro seasons with Washington ( the Dancing Bear).

Time will tell, as it always does, as to who made the best choices. Early rankings are nothing more than guesses based on their college careers. There were 4 wide receivers drafted in front of Justin Jefferson (Ruggs, Lamb, Jeudy and Raegor). Happens every year so hoping everything works out for Beane and the Bills. Go Bills!🏈🍻

Would really like to have McConkey on the Bills, great hands, fast, disciplined route runner, smooth and effortless in his play.

I loved Diggs as a Bill and what he did for the team, however as many have mentioned, his play dropped off and it didn’t all seem because of Brady. He was dropping passes much more frequently, wasn’t making contested catches and seemed to not track the ball as well as he used to.

Beane didn’t do this trade and not have a plan, the guy doesn’t take a dump without a plan.
Fans always think there guys are worth more than they are, Diggs has been for the most part a non entity in in the playoffs for two seasons in a row now, on top of his whinny BS, this sort of performance gets people fired in the real world, or in this case traded.
Frankly I’m not concerned in the slightest over this, my bet is that the offense becomes less predictable and more dynamic. Chill out and watch what transpires between now and training camp, it’s all good.Agree 100%. Also be interesting to see how Diggs performs in Houston.

I think McConkey is going to be star in the NFL. Very fluid, great hands, super route runner. Will be a go-to guy whoever gets him.

Do You Like What Beane Did in the First Round?

I think Beane is just following his board, not going to reach or cave to pressure. That is a good strategy and yet very difficult to remain disciplined and stick to the hard work done leading up to it. Go Bills!🏈🍻
