Belichick is head & shoulders above everyone.

It's amazing what he does w/ his teams.  Another coach on this Pats team & they would have a losing record.

I think we have one of the better ones in McD.  But BB is ridiculously good.

Yeah.. I’ve seen how good he was last season.  I’ve also seen how great he was when Drew Bledsoe was his starting QB.  He was about to get fired.  He’s a Parcells understudy along with Coughlin and Payton.

Mac has been very average today (his stats look good, but that's all).

If the Pats beat us, it's because BB is just that much better of a coach.

Wow.. Belichick really is in everyone’s head THAT much on here?  Play a clean game.. no turn overs, hit them hard, no missed tackles and do not play a nickel defense.  Mix in some cover 2, man to man.  Make Mac Jones beat you by himself.  How about no penalties on every other play??  McDIMWITT needs to have this team prepared.  No excuses.  I don’t care who is coaching or not coaching in the other side.  This is a rookie QB we’re facing.

Mac isn’t throwing those 5 yard throws to victory on this d.

Already saw a few that he threw under 5 yards that ended up going the distance today.  It’s ridiculous just how many yards Mac gets after the catch.  More than any other QB I have ever seen.  Rodgers gets a lot, Mahomes too but it just seems like the Patsies don’t even bother with intermediate stuff let alone deep.. it’s all underneath and misdirection.  McDermott better have this team prepared next week… I don’t wanna hear the excuses in the postgame show.  The Bills need to be physical with the Pats and by that I mean NO MISSED TACKLES.  Make them pay for every single reception.

That and NO TURNOVERS.  They do that and I like their chances.

  4. Much needed win.  I want this team to get healthy and do damage in the playoffs.  Singletary made one heck of a run last night.  That was the highlight of the game for me.

Unfortunately the mistakes keep happening and at some point the “we need to eliminate the mistakes”  mantra just wears thin.  It seems like this team is good for at least a few turn overs every game.  The ints, and another muffed punt yesterday but we weren’t playing a contender so it all worked out.  John Madden used to say that you play thru Thanksgiving to give yourself a chance to make a run.  Well.. this team has done that and they will play meaningful games down the stretch.  So let’s all sit back and enjoy it.

For real, Brady isn’t very good when he’s under pressure constantly.

Nobody is.  But some QBs can be patient and wait it out and some throw in the towel.  No pocket passer can deal with interior pressure.. not even Brady.  However.. he would adjust quickly and eventually the DL would get gassed.. then he would beat them deep over the top.  It’s what he’s been doing his entire career.

I reckon he has had like 1 bad oline his whole career.

I saw Brady her hit 28 times in like around 2016 vS the Broncos.. when they had that crazy Defense.  Broncos won by a single point.  There’s Brady and then everyone else.  I don’t get the obsession with Brady on this site.  He isn’t in the division anymore.  Who cares.

No bias whatsoever.  Steve Tasker is the greatest all around Special Teams player I have ever seen.  Teams had to plan ahead for Steve Tasker every week.  He is not just a Bills legend.. but a football legend period.

He should most definitely be in the hall of fame but regardless if he is or isn’t.. we all know just how special he was.

  8. I’ve read some comments from Saints fans on YouTube today and they have a similar mentality.  “I am not watching the game because I am not going to let them ruin MY Thanksgiving!”  They are definitely pessimistic about their chances on Thursday and while I do not blame them one bit.. the Bills have had two debacles in three weeks.  If the Bills find a way to lose on Thursday, sign me up for “the season is lost” list.  If the Bills win… I want them to take it to Boston like nobody’s business and I have a feeling that both of those games will be absolute battles.

    GO BILLS!!!

I would argue the organization is actually back to trying to lose this year.

There is no real value in winning (in a missed playoff season) and getting worse draft picks.

We are still actually in the EARLY stages of a rebuild.

After this busy week, we should be solidly out of a playoff position and likely won't be back in one again for the rest of the year.

Out of the picture in November is always tough to take.

This team has 2 fundamental problems that won't be fixed this year.  First, mediocre goaltending.  It's actually been surprisingly better than expected, but over the course of 82 games, it will regress to the mean and be pretty bad.

Second, this team is going to struggle to score goals night in and night out, despite putting up 4 last night, and a bunch the night before!  Again, over the long haul, scoring won't be there.

You combine both and get a lousy goal differential and that equals losses.

We won't be the worst team in the league this year, but we'll be like bottom 5-8 I'd say.

The absolute EARLIEST I see this team as maybe being able to do something substantive is year after next.

And that assumes a bunch of question marks turn into hits and not misses.

Still waiting and hoping for Pegula to sell the team, but I don't see that coming.

I concur with just about everything you wrote.  Sadly.  It’s a shame that RJ will never do a play by play of the Sabres winning a Stanley Cup since this is supposedly his last go around.

  10. Ohhh.. I can think of variety of reasons but that's besides the point right now.  I've dared to dream it and now it comes true:  Jason Garrett is available ladies & gentlemen.. That's correct.  You have read that right!!

The Giants FO needs many years of therapy since they let a mind like THAT go.  I... say...  give me Jason.. or give me death!  (Friday the 13th pun intended)

And yet they never made the playoffs with him on the Bears

That was Dick Butkus’s fault?  A man who did the work of three.. arguably the single best defensive player in NFL history.  Yeah I’ll take him and his attitude to light a fire under this team’s ass.  The Bills were trash in the 70s. How many wins did they tally vS the fish in that decade?  Should we point fingers at O.J. Simpson?  He wasn’t good enough?

Was saying Sunday that this team doesn't have a Kyle Williams type. Or a Zo type. The kind of player that when they speak everyone pays attention. Poyer and Hyde, to their credit seem to be trying to fill that role but I don't think they have the same amount of clout that a Kyle Williams would bring.

This years team just doesn't seem as close knit as they have been. Players that we have let walk like Shaq Lawson, John Brown and Jordan Phillips...while limited on the field brought a lot of unity to the team and have we have yet to replace that.

I heard Mitch Morse’s comments after the Jags debacle and I get the impression that his comments may have been a little annoying to the coaching staff.  He said that they need a new approach because obviously whatever they’re doing is not working.  His body language and tone came off authentic. He didn’t seem like he was just answering questions.  The man seemed concerned and frustrated with his own play and the bigger picture.  He also called out the entire offense and said they need to look inwards and that they consider themselves to be professionals but they didn’t play like it.  Maybe if everyone on the team felt the same way..

Back in the Superbowl years, or just prior if I recall correctly, the call outs of players not digging deep enough lead to 4 Superbowl appearances.

Who is the leader of this team?  Allen can be.. one day.  Right now I just don’t see it.  Teams need veteran leadership but who is that guy for the Bills?  Therein lies the dilemma.  Don’t  get me started on the coaching staff again.  I’ve said enough about McDIMWITT after Sunday to last a full season.  Well.. maybe.
