Knox and Johnson made catches that Josh put too much on. Especially the Knox catch. I thought for sure it was going to go incomplete. Maybe the best catch of his career IMO.

Josh ran for 3 and threw for 3 is the difference.

I'm sure he's fine. They seem to do this at least once a season. The media has fun gushing over him playing "injured".

Against our D with both starting safeties and a CB out. Going into the 4th quarter, Detroit only had 21. I think we all would've preferred not giving up 21 in the 4th, but all in all, not bad given the circumstances.

Honestly, unless this Dline starts to generate some pressure, it doesn't matter how good or bad the secondary is. Good QBs are going to find the open man. I hope the Dline has seen some of the callouts they've been getting in the media and start playing like they have something to prove, because quite frankly, they do.

I can tell you from Josh's demeanor and comments at the presser, he wasn't a fan. He took the blame and said he needed to get in there, but he can't create a hole that's not there. It was a risky call to begin with and without he extra push from behind, it was even riskier. I don't even really understand what the point was running it that way without the extra push from behind. It's like they were trying to make it more difficult.

It didn't help that that was not their typical tush push formation and Josh didn't have the push behind the tush he usually does from 2 guys behind him, which I'm sure played a factor. Wasn't really a fan of the call either way though. Would've rather seen play action bootleg and give Josh the option to pass it or run it in.

I'm withholding judgment until the season is over. If we have another early playoff exit largely due to defensive failures again, his seat should be getting pretty warm. Can't keep doing the same thing every year and expect different results.
