  1. It's not "for the purpose of being negative". Do you think I scout the internet to find negatives? I do not. The purpose of this thread is a discussion about how we need a better RB. And one piece of evidence is Singletary's difficulties with hanging onto the ball. It is certainly not his only issue, but it is one of them.
  2. He does. Singletary fumbles approximately 1.5% of his carries over his career The average fumble rate in the NFL from 2013-2018 (closest date I could find) is 0.87% So about half of Singletary's fumble rate. The league, on average, fumbles about half as often as Singletary does.
  3. It does matter because you won’t always be so lucky. People often ignore issues because of a win, until they resurface in a loss. Like our inefficiency in short yardage situations. I created a thread about it after the first 2 wins and people said “we won!” Well, yeah. But then we didn’t. And not being able to convert short yardage was part of the problem.
  4. Never saw this angle before. Watch how close Singletary to blowing the game here. Time for a RB upgrade!
  5. A case could be made for them being fraudulent. They gave up 500 yards and only scored 23 points against a team that saw 10 starters miss time during the game. They also beat the Ravens due to key secondary injuries that resulted in blown coverages.
  6. I guess my “bar” for Allen is just so high right now that it looks pretty routine to me. He still has throws every game that make my jaw drop, but the one in the OP isn’t one of them anymore.
  7. I’m not sure i’d really say that was an insane throw. A lot of NFL QB’s can make that throw. But Josh has some throws that I think only he makes. The first one in this video is bonkers: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=a8OwaLppkEE
  8. Uh what about him? That is as open as you can ever expect to get in the NFL. If you’re worried about that safety then you don’t realize the tight windows that NFL quarterbacks throw into on nearly every pass.
  9. Stick around. I’ll say much stupider stuff.
  10. Saw this on social media. $5 tickets. 7 pre-season games. 2pm games.
  11. A new running back would hopefully see cutback lanes that Singletary is oblivious to.
  12. A lot of people seem to think so.
  13. Yeah I mean whether or not he is lacking explosiveness, he is getting open. The guy is just dropping everything.
  14. I dunno. Some of these drops were well after he stopped.
  15. Wow that would have been a huge play if Josh saw him.
  16. Gabe has had no troubling getting open from what i’ve seen. His trouble has been catching the ball. Are his ankles connected to his hands somehow?
  17. It's both. He falls for the play action but he also has the physical gifts to make up for it. The story of his career, really.
  18. He's suggesting that Milano could easily cover Edmunds zone.
  19. Edmunds has always been "good". He just hasn't been elite. Or a game changer. And still isn't.
  20. Because he gets to keep his contract if he’s traded. If he’s cut, the contract is ripped up and he’s signing with a new team for much less. The Bills we’re done with him and wanted to save the cap money.
  21. Beasley asked to be traded because the Bills were moving on from him. Not the other way around. He actually talked about how things within the organization changed.
  22. Until Singletary stops missing cutback lines the size of Texas, I think it’s fair for the blame to be shared between the O-Line and Running Backs equally.
  23. Someone just mentioned to me that McKenzie was wide open on this play - And he does appear to be. Right in the middle of the field.
  24. I’d take a 30 year old All-Pro Poyer over Ed Oliver. Besides, age may not bother Beane. We just signed a 34 year old DE to a 6 year contract.
