According to the manufacturer, that’s a pro-model thrower than costs $2k per piece. Their pro-model throwers can handle 2+ feet of snow and throw it up to 20 yards away. They said they can make them for Buffalo too 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yes, this is because only the former NFL personnel (coordinators and coaches) are allowed to stamp final grades (they can also veto them). This is exactly why PFF grades take several days to be released. They're not immediate like typical stats on NFL.com or Espn.com. Sometimes it takes until Wednesday to get a players PFF grade. This argument is essentially "I don't understand and therefore its not possible". No reminder needed - I recall that conversation well. It was the conversation in which I was proven right. I told everyone that the defense was running Cover 3. Several people, including Hoof, disagreed with me (even mocking me at one point, by offering to "teach me" via private messages and telling me that I was confused). Then a few days later Big Turk posted a video by a former NFL QB, and in the video the player confirmed it was Cover 3. In fact, the QB's analysis was practically a verbatim copy of what I had said throughout the thread (and was told I was wrong/confused). I never got an apology for that, but thanks for bringing it up. What I ran into was being bullied for several pages and then I was proven right by an NFL QB who would obviously know how to read defenses. PS, To Buffalo716 credit, he agreed with my Cover 3 diagnosis from the beginning. I've noticed you tag Hoof and Buffalo716 a lot, as if they are the judge of all football, so I guess you just assumed he was correct when he "corrected" me. I rarely post about technical matters (not to be confused with opinion posts) unless I know it to be true. I stay out of a lot of technical threads, not contributing, because I am not certain in my belief. When I do post about a technical football issue, it's because I have strong reason to believe that I am correct in my analysis. .

The idea is to not let it accumulate to 2-3 feet in the first place. And with snowblowers, you can easily make that happen. Besides, I don’t think Green Bay (who averages just a few inches less of snow fall per year than Buffalo) ordered snowblowers only capable of handling a “light dusting”. It’s a professional model snow-thro that costs $2k each. But even if it took several rounds of snow-blowing, it would be a far more efficient method than humans with shovels. to be honest, I disagree with several of PFF grade. Ed is just one of them. but keep in mind that two NFL coaches may disagree with each other on their own grading. so, in my opinion, that’s not that unusual.

You really think NFL teams would pay millions of dollars for useless data? The idea that you think it's some schmuck sitting at home is part of the problem. PFF employs former NFL players, especially at Tier 2 and 3 of grading. The reason why PFF grades take a couple day to update after a game is because they are not graded by one player. It gets graded by a Tier 1 analyst, then a Tier 2 analyst, and then sometimes a Tier 3 analyst. People will often write "they don't know the play call". These people clearly think that football is rocket science. It's not. We can see on All-22 what the play is. Especially by mid season when teams are running the same plays over and over. And no, we do not accept the idea that maybe this particular team told their left tackle to get pancaked on a counter-run because the coach told him to. No, he just got beat. The other excuse is "teams pay for the data, not the grades". How do you think PFF grades the player? On the data!

Is this really surprising? You can have two NFL coaches grade a player completely differently. Two GM's too. That's why some will trade down in the draft and others will trade up to get the player that the other left there. It doesn't mean PFF sucks. It means HIS coach graded it differently.
