  1. With the build up all about slobbering off NE and even clowning the Bills showing Moss destroying us in the past, what did you think was going to happen? It’s all about building a brand
  2. LOL! That’s why the NFL has argued in the Supreme Court that it’s entertainment not sport. Interesting defense. So again, LOL!
  3. The problem is the NFL is not the pure game of football you’re describing and you grew up playing. That’s the sport. The NFL is scripted entertainment. I know it’s hard to accept the two are not the same. If Buffalo wants a championship they will need to build a state of the art stadium probably a dome/retractable roof and crawl to Goodell on hands and knees and make him believe they’ll fulfill the desired scripts perfectly in exchange for a championship or two.
  4. I agree with this in general, I’m just saying it hurts an offensive passing team like us the most. It’s legitimately how the Pats dynasty was built. If not for unflagged muggings, it would’ve been Indy not NE that created that dynasty
  5. That’s bad for a team like us. It’s the easiest way to rig a matchup that features a high powered passing offense and a team like the pats. Basically how they beat the colts every year. Also how the Bucs were scripted into the super bowl despite not even being the first or second beat nfc team last year. Are you on board for ‘let em play’ when Steph, Cole, Sanders and company can’t get an inch of separation and no flags come to the rescue to get the defense to stop?
  6. John Cena’s full out mockery when he hosted the ESPYs should have clued in most people, but apparently not. All in plain sight haha.
  7. They just won’t accept it. Even when the NFL legally defends itself as entertainment and not sport in the Supreme Court, even after watching the refs manufacture the upset of the year w Jags/Bills (and every survivor pool lock pick and all money on the Bills), even after a guy with two huge picks in a super bowl flat out said the league is rigged, even after Jerry rice and tim brown have said the Bucs/Raiders super bowl was rigged by callahan, even after 5-6 tweets by NFL players describing the scripting—Ramsey for one flat out said they were told they weren’t allowed to beat the Pats in that jags pats joke of an afc championship, and on and on. There is so much more but obviously the average fan can’t handle it. Buffalo will only have a real chance to win a super bowl the year of their brand new stadium as long as it is satisfactory to Goodell. The NFL is legally entertainment. Not sport. Us ‘conspiracy theorists’ are not obsessed with this, we just can’t believe how confused and angry you all are over something so obvious. And arrogant by laughing at and dismissing us with no real counter argument. I’ll tel you this, there are at least several players on every team that help fulfill outcomes on the field through their actions.
  8. I’ve said this since the Pats were 1-3 and was laughed at by nearly every poster. The laughers aren’t laughing now, but still in denial over what the NFL actually is. Naive to the point of being a dunce. That describes 90% of NFL fans. Who think this isn’t heavily heavily scripted entertainment
  9. I thought he meant Side Show Bob because of his stupid hair
  10. We should’ve brought up our NC rb a while ago to give him a shot. Runs like this guy but faster
  11. Come on dude. The Pats have been garbage for a couple years and Josh has been a major star. Don’t give them that.
  12. Building on my post to someone else, if we’re viewing this organizational and systemic cheating by the Pats on it’s own, I think everything you’re saying is on point here. The question becomes should we just ignore cheating in pro sports and similar because it’s just not ultimately important in life? One could argue it’s critical to address these things because it plays a role in how our society functions. Every time we decide to sweep something under the rug, society gets a little bit dirtier.
  13. You actually make a fair point. I’m in both camps I guess. If one wants to discuss cheating in a vacuum, I think that’s fine and totally fair. If it consumes someone and they can’t get over the cheating Patriots etc then that’s definitely a waste of time. In the grand scheme of things I agree with you fully, but if we’re engaging in discussion on this particular topic, then whether it’s ultimately a waste of time as viewed within the scope you’re taking this is an unfair tactic imo. Basically a totally different argument on how much sports should factor into what’s important in somebody’s life.
  14. Truly the dumbest rationale. Common though. You act as if cheating can’t be examined on its own. Sometimes people and groups cheat, and yes, other people hate them for it. It’s not all baseless.
  15. The refs follow orders from the NFL. They’re intermediaries for Goodell. I think we all know which team he prefers. Watched a bunch of games today. Anyone who thinks the refs can’t singlehandedly steer the outcome live in fantasy land. There’s no stat box and highlight reel for the 5-10 plays (sometimes more or less) that are changed by the refs either calling a penalty or not. That’s why some people still maintain their idealistic belief that the NFL does not script and steer outcomes. They also don’t want to believe that the game they grew up loving is not what the NFL is. The league has a half-dozen techniques and tactics to help ensure their desired outcomes. Usually though, all they need is the refs.
  16. Ventilators have already been proven to be the wrong treatment. Good work👍 has nothing to do with that $39k incentive to put someone on a ventilator I’m sure
  17. I’m actually not the ones who started this. Talk to your buddies
