  1. Bills take notes on how to abort a trick play that didn't work out. That guy just did a rifle celebration, he should get a 15 yard penalty based on how they've been calling it.
  2. Pretty good game so far, both QBs look good.
  3. He lives in his car, so it's home ownership and car ownership.
  4. This isn't the season to be buying rentals. We have too many holes in the roster and rookie (or nearly rookie) coordinators. Raiders will need a 1st round pick from a good team, or a 2nd round pick from a bad team to eat enough cap to make this worth it. Our 1st round pick could be a good cost-controlled starter for many years.
  5. DB thought he had safety help over the top and obviously didn’t. Tried to recover but it was too late. Seemed like a busted coverage to me, and I’d bet the safety was supposed to be over there helping.
  6. He plays a low snap count and only in obvious passing situations. That Bills have forced teams into very obvious passing situations for half the games so far, so I think his effectiveness has been overstated.
  7. Still not much of a believer in Worthy at least based on what we've seen so far. I don't think teams are going to let him beat them with a simple go route anymore. They should have already known, but it's on tape now. Especially with Rice gone, Worthy is going to have to show he can win in the short/intermediate game. I'm not writing him off or anything, but he's just a rookie. Most rookie WRs don't produce that much unless they are top-10 picks.
  8. I would give Dawkins a -1 for his blocking on the trick play. He missed the initial block because he ran into Kincaid, and then he missed a second opportunity to get a piece of Van Noy after the play was already broken. Two whiffs on one play.
  9. Are we definitely sure this is over his domestic stuff last year? I think PEDs are now under the NFL personal conduct policy. Maybe he got popped for those.
  10. Lol, so the renegotiation wasn’t necessarily as altruistic as it seemed at the time.
  11. I don’t think he’s lost a step at all. The coaches have been in his ear about getting down, sliding, and not taking big hits. He’s trying to follow the plan. This exact same thing happened last year and was abandoned by like week 8, we’ll see if it sticks this year.
  12. Probably has the same thing that Michael Jordan has. His eyes always look yellowish to me. I don't think it's jaundice.
  13. I think everybody would have been fine with 10-7 or 11-6 and a division win going into the season. It was supposed to be a "rebuild year". I think the fact that the rest of the AFC looks so vulnerable has people getting greedy.
  14. Is it the flop sweat?
  15. That could happen if the issue was getting serious. Unfortunately we have a serious talent deficit on defense until some guys get healthy, and younger guys get more experienced. This could be the game where Brady learns to add more wrinkles and approaches to the playbook when things aren’t going our way.
  16. I’d quit if I were in Cleveland too. You can only play in the factory of sadness for so long before it begins to affect you.
  17. I meant after the initial whiff and the play was already kind of broken. Allen drifts to his left to buy time. Dawkins had a chance to get a piece of Van Noy and just kind of doesn’t.
  18. That view from behind the LOS makes me understand why Allen thought he had more time to throw. He would have known Van Noy was back there, but he also would have seen Dawkins running back to get a piece of him. The only problem is Dawkins didn’t get a piece of him at all. What a poor effort there by him.
  19. Because we gave them a short field and it became a 3 score game again after the Ravens scored. The difference between a 3-4 point game and an 18 point game! Totally changes how you can call the offense and defense. Not to mention the Ravens seem to have a mental hang up with letting teams back into games that we probably would have triggered.
  20. This is supposed to be a “re-tool” year. If it was ever a season for on the job training it would be this one.
  21. I agree with your assessment that Allen was supposed to roll right. At the snap Dawkins and Kincaid run into each other, which allowed Van Noy through. I’m not going to pretend to know if that is Kincaid’s fault or Dawkins’ fault (or both). One of those guys screwed up though.
  22. I agree, if you look at the blockers they shoot out to the right on the snap. I kind of think that Allen was supposed to continue to the right but Van Noy came through untouched and killed it. If that were the case Allen should have just chucked it out of bounds or eaten it. But it was such a cluster I sort of get why he didn’t have much time to think about what to do.
  23. Well yea, these LBers stink. They aren’t even supposed to be on the field. It’s supposed to be Bernard and Milano.
  24. He’s a below replacement level player. Mostly due to his speed. Guy is as slow as molasses out there. I think the plan was the have Bishop start, but he got injured.
  25. Assuming Bass could make it, they only needed a FG on that drive to make it a one score game. We were already at midfield.
