  1. How did Von pick up an ankle injury when he didn't train yesterday?
  2. I think the issue is we are dominating but we're making so many sloppy mistakes on offense, which is making games closer than they should be. Defense, to date, less so.
  3. In fairness to Franklin-Myers, he did say as part of the interview that most QBs are like this. He probably should have said all but he mustn't call out any of the QBs on the Jets roster.
  4. Apologies, might have misunderstood. I thought you were saying Marlowe didn't have a chance with the Falcons Hail Mary; I was saying the pundits thought he would have done had he positioned himself better.
  5. Yes, I can understand this. Maybe I am viewing him through Bills tinted spectacles but I wouldn't consider Josh an unreasonable moaner.
  6. Not sure, even the punditry said Marlowe should have done better than he did with the Hail Mary.
  7. Quessenberry had done a decent job covering - would take Brown being out for the next couple of week if it means Milano and Poyer can play against the Jets.
  8. He's got a very similar career record as McKissic; would have been interested to see if we would have still drafted Cook and possibly traded or cut Moss before the season had he not stayed with Washington.
  9. Apologies if someone has replied but there's no dead cap if we release him for next season. If he doesn't perform, we cut him. If he does, we probably re-draw his contract anyway.
  10. Have to laugh at the respective fanbase reactions to our trades. Hines Colts: WTF?! We've been fleeced Bills: What are we doing? What about Cook? Marlowe Falcons: Yay! How did we manage that? Thought we'd just cut him Bills: Yes - welcome back!
  11. I WANT A TRADE! DO SOMETHING, BEANE! *Beane does something* ... NOT THAT!
  12. No, but take away Hill and Waddle and I think he'd be out of his depth. I'd say Hill is slightly better than Diggs (blasphemy?) and Waddle is better than Davis, but take those two away from Josh and he'd still be executing at a high level. I don't think the same can be said for Tua.
  13. I expected them to make the Play Offs before today's trades.
  14. Despite what I said before, I'd love to get Jacobs or Swift through the door. But I think the cost may be too high in Beane's mind. Other trades have improved teams, there is no doubt that, but to our level at our peak? I would still say no.
  15. To me, it's Hill and Waddle making the most of what they're being thrown, rather than the majority of balls being on point. Sunday was ridiculous; the Lions decided they didn't need to cover either. But maybe I'm looking through Bills-tinted spectacles.
  16. What you're saying is, given the opportunity, you would switch their entire roster for ours?
  17. Because I don't think that's down to the RB room - it's down to the O Line. And it's pretty difficult to upgrade the O Line on trade deadline day.
  18. Fine, let's see if we can switch Josh for him then.
  19. Maybe it's because I'm really focused on the Bills but we do seem more error prone than most post season chasing on offense when it comes to drops, fumbles and penalties at key times. Especially considering the quality of player we have on offense. But as I say, perhaps other teams do have these issues and, as I'm not so focused on them, I don't notice it as much.
  20. Thanks. Was just wondering if we'd send a CB to the pratice squad in a like for like but I'm not overly knowledgable on what other positions players can cover.
  21. Great news! Who will drop to the practice squad? Lewis?
