Part of me wonders whether every high calibre QB would be as accepting as Josh about taking the ball out of his hands? Would they be kicking off, wanting the attention on them? Not all, but definitely some. Another reason the Bills are lucky to have him.

A Jaguars defeat would drag them back into the play off fight, but they have the tiebreak over the Bills and have a run in of at Bucs, vs Panthers, at Titans. They should be 2-1 at least which would take them to 10-7 and ahead of the Bills if they lose one more. Admittedly, even if the Ravens win, they go to the 49ers next, and a loss there would mean they would have to go all in against the Dolphins for the one seed. But perhaps that’s what we want - assurance they will have to commit to that game? So probably Jags to win. But not as important as it was for the Lions, Bears, Titans and Jets to win this week. One out of four ain’t bad, I suppose… ETA - Considering the London game, nothing would bring me greater pleasure of knocking the Jags out of the play off spots, outside of taking the East.

OK, ice water time. Maybe because it’s nearly 2am here so tiredness is bringing me down slightly. Excellent win today. But for all those calling out the fans who criticised McDermott and thought his time might be up - this is why. The potential of this team could be seen. As it is, the Bills are still in a dicey position heading into week sixteen. Results went against them but they’re relying on that because of poor calling and executing before the bye. The poor calling and executing which falls on the head coach. Maybe they’re heating up at the right time. Maybe they cut a swathe through the AFC and make the Super Bowl. The only team I really fear is the 49ers (though the Bengals seem to be something of a nemesis). But there are three games to go of the regular season and, if they don’t make the play offs, or fail in a particularly Billsy way if they get there, I’m sure the pressure will return on McDermott. Great win but far too soon to gloat or think all issues have been sorted. I think most of us thought the Bills were well on their way after week four.

But all of this is based on the Bills beating the Cowboys. That is hardly a given. I'd argue a Steelers win is better to cover off the possibility of the Bills losing tomorrow. Then, in all liklihood, one of the Steelers or Bengals will drop to 9-6 next week whilst the Bills should go to 8-7 or 9-6 themselves, depending on tomorrow's result. And, as I say it, the Colts take the lead.

Sky in the UK haven't run a replay even though, during some breaks in play, they cut to their own coverage.

Just what I was thinking. Cynically I wonder if he would have stayed down a bit longer if the guy weren't ejected. Would like to see the collision again to judge. At first look it seemed to be two guys diving for the ball.

Steelers to win the next one for me - they've got more difficult opposition left after this week (vs Bengals, at Seahawks, at Ravens) than the Colts (at Falcons, vs Raiders, at Texans).

To guarantee a slot, yes. But if the Bengals fell to 7-7 and other results went their way then 10-7 may have been enough.

I hate football. And I don't want to hear about how great Burrows is. Browning has proven it's the WRs which make the Bengals.

Having the Bengals on 7-7 is better than 8-6. Especially as they have the head to head.
