I dont care who you are, that's awful. blame Flowers for not sitting on his route, but that's being incredibly generous to the QB making several bad moves in short order. Combine that with a) Overthrowing Bateman forcing the catch in bounds and b) not spiking immediately after... There is a reason some QBs always win close games and some lose them - these are the things you look at as the deciding factors.

Lamar missed him by 3 feet at the point of the throw, and six by the actual result. Flowers even slowed down a touch. That's bad from Lamar and should be criticized for that bad of a miss

Worthy will be able to excel in an Andy Reid offense. With that said, it’s week 1. Let’s give it a half a season before we jump off the ledge on Worthy. can the body hold up for a season? He can run as fast as he wants week 1, it won’t mean anything if his body doesn’t hold up. It’s what made Hill such a unique talent
