He reported the same thing a couple months ago when the Ertz trade rumors first heated up, so take it with a grain of salt.

To be fair to him, that was going to happen but the Eagles had an insane asking price. It's not unreasonable to think that this is legit, given:

    a) demonstrable past interest

    b) no major TE signing/trade in the interim

    c) reduced asking price from Philly

    d) no one really thinks Ertz will play another down for the Eagles

    e) Diggs restructure

I also like Beasley down the sideline early in the Rams game.  Ignore this trash and go watch the Cover 1 break downs of Josh this year.  They are awesome and a lot of fun.  Thankfully they went the whole season (NFL didnt shut them down).  Watching those over the 3 years of Allens career has been worth the time investment.

I can argue #1. There wasn't anything special about the throw. It was one of the greatest catches I've ever seen ever, but the throw wasn't special. I guess alluding the defenders to make the throw was nice.

The ability to make that throw was impressive. It wasn't aimed, but he was able to throw a 50-60 yard bomb while off balance at the sideline and keep it in bounds. But he was just trying to get it somewhere in the endzone and hope for a win on a jump ball, so I can accept it should be on the list, but #1? Give me a break.

Didn’t watch the video, but was the TD throw to Diggs at the end of the game vs Arizona listed? That was the best, clutch throw I’ve seen Josh make yet.

No. Nor was the throw over Warner. Nor was the shoulder shimmy against Pittsburgh. Nor was the falling shovel pass to Diggs where he hurt his shoulder.

It's literally just 90% deep balls (which is why there's so much Herbert and Wilson). That's it. Hail Murray finished #1, which was essentially a blind throw to somewhere in the endzone. It should be almost all credited to Hopkins, not Murray.

Allen was listed a few times early in the video at #97, 95, and 83, and that's all. Meanwhile, they have a ton of routine, normal throws from lots of other QB's in the video that should not be listed. They decided to include a lot of important throws because of their impact on individual games (which I'm fine with, to a certain extent). It's just surprising to me that Allen is not listed more, or at least listed higher. A lot of his best throws aren't even listed.

Oh, and Matt Barkley had a throw listed at #87.

It's basically just a bunch of deep balls. Whoopdie do. That Diggs throw at the beginning was harder and more incredible than the vast majority on this list.

Actually, I thought you might have been claiming solid knowledge on Diggs' reasons/motivation for agreeing to the extension*. That or you were just being a cynic who likes to introduce some dark clouds into the bit of sunshine this news brought.

But I was giving you the benefit of the doubt. Since you didn't claim to have any special friendship,  or business association with Diggs, how would you have any idea what he considered or his motivations? Obviously helping the team make a nice signing this year helps the team. Why might that not be a factor in Diggs decision?

*It was mentioned some restructures MIGHT not require a players consent. Even if that were the case, I doubt the Biils would just impose it without dealing with Diggs first.

It could have been a factor. At the end of the day, though, I was just pushing back against the narrative that he was making a sacrifice for the team. He didn't make a sacrifice, I don't expect him to, but I'm not going to go out of my way to praise him for essentially accepting most of his yearly salary all at once rather than in weekly installments.

The fact that they are making cap room is exciting, I don't think I was taking away from that at all.

Tre continues to get no respect.

He isn't flashy, he doesn't make big hits, he doesn't talk on social media... he just goes out and performs.

The great thing is, that's the culture that's been built within the organization and I absolutely love it.

Forget Tre White, Jordan Poyer and Matt Milano aren't even in the Honorable mentions.

Pretty bad list, tbh, not that it matters.

I know but I think of Tyreek Hill who said "once Im signed, Im signed" and that he wouldnt restructure

Nice to not have that problem

Well, that's Hill not helping himself and showing that he's a moron more than anything. If you don't accept, it means you are intentionally hampering your team for no reason. If my work said, "here's your entire year's wages" I'd say yes too.

Well, they had a 10-6 season in 2019.  They felt they under-achieved last season and took a while to get going with their new OC and DC.  I haven't followed, but when a team was 2 games into the playoffs 2 years ago it's not uncommon for the fans to feel they've made off-season improvements and will not only return to the prior result but exceed it.

    Wouldn't we think so?

They are counting on his return from neck surgery, Yes.

Not just surgery, contract dispute, too.

I've been racking my brain on "Neslon" for a about 5 minutes. Why can't I figure out who that is? ......

Also, I have a hard time believing Myles Garrett won't be in the top 10.

My top 10 in no particular order (that I think they'll put in there) :

Rodgers, Mahomes, Donald, Allen, Garrett, Diggs, Adams, Brady, Henry,

I'm stuck on 10 between Watt, Matthieu, Kelce

Watt and Bosa > Garrett imo

He had an amazing year. Especially at his age. But he didn’t even crack the top 3 in the MVP voting. He’s still a very good player, but he’s definitely on the decline. IMO, they were lucky to make it to the Super Bowl with his 3 interceptions..

He didn't EVEN crack top 3, and that's why he's on the decline? What kind of argument is that? Also, only 3 players even got votes.

I mean, of course he's on the decline since he's 44 but he was a top 5 QB last year (I don't care about your lower ranking because you don't like him) and I don't think he's falling off a cliff any time soon.

Stefon Diggs skips Bills first OTA practice session of 2021

While perusing his twatter, I noticed a lot of Viking fans predicting a 12+ win season. Am I missing something?

Vikings fans won’t let it go either. Every Diggs article has the comment section full of sour grapes Vikings fans.

I don’t get why they’re so upset, they got Jefferson out of the deal. Seems to me we both won in the deal, not sure why they won’t let this go.

I think they are just cheesed at the possibility that someone didn't want to play for them.

Good luck with Danielle Hunter, bros.
