  1. If Denver's here, he should talk to me (Cleveland) about a trade.
  2. The Cleveland Browns select: Brady Quinn, QB Notre Dame
  3. Has the Turner-for-a-swap-of-firsts trade been officially rejected?
  4. Cleveland has traded the #3 overall pick to the Atlanta Falcons for the #8, the #39, the #75, and Roddy White (WR).
  5. I'm Cleveland, incidentally.
  6. Is Minnesota here? Message me.
  7. Advertise trades, speculate about others, give misinformation, and let us know you're here.
  8. http://www.tboblogs.com/index.php/newswire...-pregnant-woman
  9. I'll do the Browns, if nobody's taken them yet.
  10. Long Snappers don't compete with offensive linemen for roster spots any more than tight ends do. Just because it's a three-point stance on the line of scrimmage doesn't mean it's an either/or proposition.
  11. Can we combine here? What if we traded our first to San Diego for Michael Turner, their first, and their second? If you trust the draft chart, the net value of the picks is 300, so it equates to trading a mid-to-low second round pick to the Chargers for Turner, which seems about fair, while also giving them some all-star potential getting near the top of the draft.
  12. What are those, exactly? I always sort of assumed that they were put up because the player had made some charity donation.
  13. SI doesn't think we'll do it, they're just guessing. There's no evidence besides the fact we need an RB. Coming from SI doesn't make this any better than coming from a message board.
  14. Don't rule out Vince Young getting the prime-time big show game, but smart money's New England or New Orleans, I think.
  15. No, he didn't. Cleveland was never in the AFL, and there weren't eight teams, there were 12 in his first season and 22 in his last. He ran for 1800+ yards a decade before anyone else even came close.
  16. Well, then we can trade the #2 pick to the Browns for their #3 and second rounder, then down again with Tampa for the 4 and a second roudner, and so on until we have...THE ENTIRE SECOND ROUND OF THE DRAFT!
  17. I'd guess Quinn and Russell go to two of: Detroit, Cleveland, Tampa Bay, Miami, Minnesota, Houston. ANd that's if someone doesn't trade up to snag him. As long as the Raiders don't take a player outside the top 11, I think we'll be okay.
  18. I think on a goal-line play, you'd rather have Peters hitting the guy at the point of contact, and letting someone more agile find the hole. You can have Peters running in a hole created by Brad Butler or Anthony Thomas running in a whole created by Jason Peters - what do you do?
  19. What I want to know is for how long K-Gun's been using a computer and the English language.
  20. Yeah, but if we could get the sh-- out twice as quickly this year, we could be rolling by week 4 instead of 8.
  21. 1.) Anthony Thomas is decent, but can't reasonably be expected to start all season 2.) Tim Anderson has not shown himself to be NFL-caliber, and Kyle Williams is intriguing but unproven. 3.) Ellison is a 2nd-year player who has shown flashes, but little to think that he merits a net improvement over London Fletcher on a team that already struggled from the position 4.) McGee struggles to be a #2 CB, relying on him as a #1 is questionable.
  22. Detroit has a great starter in Roy Williams and a competent to good one in Mike Furrey. BOth young guys, both under contract. I'd be shocked, shocked! if they took a WR. Well, not that shocked.
  23. Yeah, he misheard. It was the Bills just re-signing their blogger toa long term, multimillion dollar deal.
  24. Is Donte' Stallworth secretly a lot better than I think he is? I mean, here's his stat sheet: http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/302227 He had 38 catches last year! And only six in two playoff games. He's definitely pretty good, but he's not a gamebreaker. We'll see what the contract is like.
