Aren't the betting odds currently Bills -2.5, which is basically saying it's a toss-up with a slight edge to the Bills for having home field advantage?

Of course that could change during the week when injury reports come out.

He appears to feel that the NFL is fixed:

During the Miami Week 18 game:

Sound like an objective observer, or like a Bills fan, to you?

Just because someone is critical and or pessimistic doesn't make them any less of a fan. This is really flawed logic here.

I'll use myself as an example. I'm extremely critical and often think for the worse. I don't have to tell anyone here this. No surprise here. Wish I wasn't this way but it's perhaps in my DNA. Perhaps, it because of the past trauma as a 50 year Bills fan. Maybe I'm suffering from PTSD  sort of speak. Who knows what's behind my thinking?

Point is I'm a huge Bills fan. Live, eat, and sleep it sort of speak and within reason. I take Bills losses pretty hard. I've softened up a bit over the years with age.

Truthfully, all I want is one ring!!! I believe this would instantly adjust my thinking. Everything else would be gravy because my dream will have come true.

I can't wait until Sunday. The Chiefs are very beatable but yet so formidable. I truly see this as a toss up game. Please Bills beat the Chiefs!!!

    Go Bills.

Despite what you and some other want to believe...I actually have tons of credibility on predictions, and was one of the few to prediction the Texans not only beating the Browns, but doing it fairly easily which was the case.

And trust me, I know I'm not going to be the only one here taking the Chiefs over the Bills this week. Confident that 75% or more of the talking heads and pundits outside of Buffalo probably will too but obviously doesn't mean it's set in stone...just looking at the historical data and facts which obviously matter until proven otherwise.

I have no idea about your credibility. Nor do I care if others dislike your post.

However, I will say your credibility takes a big hit when you throw that 75% number out there. No way no how is the discrepancy that big.

The Chiefs surely can win and there's a viable path and validity to make that claim. Vice versa too.

This game is about as close as it gets when you analyze the data, facts, trends, injuries, luck, players, coaches, home field, etc ...

You 75% number is more likely around 45% to 55%.

I’ve heard lots of folks say that Tomlin is a far superior coach to McD.

    Ditto with McDaniel.

    And Harbaugh.

    And Sirianni.

And all of them are on the couch so far except for Harbaugh. Oh well! They’ll always have those fans’ hearts.

That's fair. There will always be debated about who is a better coach. All of them have their strengths and weaknesses.

For me, an elite coach has to lead his team to a championship. Until then, a coach will always be scrutinized about that failure or lack of success.

My man, he has made it as far as McD has since 2016 and he doesn't have Josh Allen. Please don't compare aging Ben to Josh. McD has one divisional win in his career. Tomlin has 2 AFC championships, 3 division wins, and a Super Bowl.

    A little reality check here.👍

    ?

He hasn’t won a playoff game since 2016. McD has how many playoff wins?

It’s very cool that he won a Super Bowl when a plucky Senator from Chicago ran for President, but Mason Rudolph was still using coloring books at home at that time.

Does nothing for the guys currently.

    Your denial is deep.

Man oh man, this guy is just so elite.

He really had his guys ready to play today. They kept it pretty close in the first Q and came out ready to fight.

Just another incredible coaching product by Tomlin today. He saw what other “better than McDermott” coaches like Mike McCarthy cooked up yesterday and what Mike McDaniel cooked up the last two weeks and wanted a piece for himself.

All these elite coaches, just being elite and superior to our own McDummy week after week.

Good luck to Mike Tomlin on his elusive hunt for his second playoff win since 2016. If only we could be so lucky to have such a coach.

    SUPER SERIOUS EDIT:

I crunched the numbers and it’s actually FIRST playoff win since 2016. Man, we gotta get THAT guy.

Tomlin seems like a pretty straight forward and classy guy. I guess some people enjoy criticizing others to get their points across.

I guess that's not neither here or there. I mean it's pretty absurd to imply that Tomlin is less than a very good coach. I'm not here to defend him but your slander seems pretty ridiculous. It's widely accepted that Tomlin is a very good coach. But hey, you do you.

I've really not heard many football fans including Bills fans say McD is a poor coach. The primary criticism is McD has been unable to get this team under an elite franchise QB to the SB. Not bringing a Lombardi to Buffalo. Truthfully, that's the criticism valid or not it's likely to continue until McD achieves this feat.

FTR, both McCarthy and Tomlin with their elite franchise QB have brought home a Lombardi Trophy. That's not an insignificant fact.

    Mason Rudolph is his QB.

It was another elite playoff loss. He’s dominating that category.

The team wasn't even expected to sniff the playoffs this year.

Tomlin's biggest mistake was drafting Pickett. I can get behind that criticism.

The combo of Romo and Nantz are my top commentary team.   I guess people just got annoyed listening to Romo but I’d much rather hear him over that tool Chris Collingsworth any day.

I’m also a big fan of Kevin Harlan and Trent Green.  I remember Harlan was one of the lower ranking teams and he always drew Bills games during the end of the drought.  He made those game fun.

I agree. I also like Olsen too. He's good with the X's and O's

  7. I really enjoyed Romo's commentary today. Early he spotted a Bill's defensive coverage stop, really gave Allen his flowers, talked about how Pitt was getting momentum and it was nervous time for Buffalo. His enthusiasm was really good.

The only thing I disagreed with was the Hyde and Poyer comments.

Overall, he did an outstanding job. I kind of get the feeling he's secretly cheering for the Bills.

    Losing Bernard really sucks.

Josh Allen is a tank.  He’s the only QB I want.  Ever.

I would prefer Mahomes if you put a gun to my head. Allen is a close second though. Splitting hairs here. Bottom line is the Bills are in a great position for years ahead with Allen. Gotta get that Lombardi soon!!!

    Hey um, just checking…

how many turnovers did the Turnover Machine have today?

I like that question. The think I liked was on Allen really seemed like he was in full control. A leader who was focused and extremely confident. He made a few bad throws but that's gonna happen.

Really liked how the offense clicked today. Spread the ball around. Diggs looks to be back, Kincaid is a monster weapon, Shakir is dynamic with his touches, Harty even made a nice catch, Knox can still be an offensive weapon, Cook has a quiet good game, oline was very good, and Allen with his legs unbelievable. No turnovers

KC defense is really good but this Bills offense is getting its swagger back.

Steelers fans crying and saying the NFL is rigged and how if they had Watt they would have won and all the injuries they have...

Not one mentioned that Rudolph only started moving the ball once we were down both starting corners, down to our 4th string rookie LB and a dude off the street in Klein(who I thought played excellently) and then down Taron Johnson and had Lewis in there...

Oh, and they also were whining about Allen's "fake slide" on his TD run...except it didn't look like he tried to slide at all to me, he made a juke move then trucked their safety

    Any word on Benford?
