Gonna be a blood bath. No way the Bills can stop the Chiefs. Our defense made the titans look like a good offense minus two starters wrs. Our only hope is to out score them. The offense looked like ***** too. Allen regressed, oline was bad in all facets, wr drops, etc...I calling for a 38 to 17 loss. Hope I'm wrong.

Did not enjoy this game one bit. I couldn't help but have flashbacks to the crapoy Bills teams of the past. Allen regressed badly, defense was horrendous, what running game or pass rush?, and Oline sucked. A total disaster tonight. Hoping this makes us better. My biggest concern was how bad Allen was. He panicked, was inaccurate, stared down receivers, and didn't run at all.

News flash: the other team gets paid too. We aren't going to have it all our own way. The Rams offense is designed to counter pressure with play action and screens. The problem with our D wasn't "failure to deliver pressure on Goff", it was loss of gap integrity leading to big gashing runs on the R side.
See upthread for my post on the impact of the INT and subsequent short possession on our D.
Spot on.

I'm not sure Cam will work out. Nevertheless, this is a steal for the Patriots. Nothing to lose. I have a hard time thinking Cam will be a good Bellicheat student. However, Cam is always Nice if he is winning. The Pats know how to win.

Jones was so great he got his team to 4 wins.
Josh Allen is better than Jones. He had more TD's and less INT's, oh and led his team to 6 more wins. Trading him for Jones would be idiotic.
I think it's far too early to say. Both have big time upside. Jones looked good but in a very small sample. Josh seems to be developing well. There just isn't enough there to concretely make a valid or invalid argument. I would take Wilson and Watson ahead of Josh. Both have that "it" factor. Obviously, Mahomes too. It's a pass on Lamar. He still limited in the passing game. I think defenses will catch up to him. Remember RG3 and Kap. No to Dak. I think he is average at best. A big yes to Wetz. He is a stud and proven when healthy. I'd take my chances. Just my opinion.

The way it happened was a joke anyways. The refs hardly overturned any call and did so on purpose because they didn't want it.
I agree. Just a question. How many would like to see the PI call changed to the way college does it? Or something like 15 yard penalty or if it was an obvious blatant PI to prevent a long gain or Td then apply the penalty of total yards. Reason being I really hate when a team gets all those yards on a so so PI call. It changes the game too much.

At best Fromm could be a serviceable back up. Anyone who thinks he can be a franchise QB is beyond optimistic. A serviceable starter is a huge stretch imho. Stop gap guy and back up QB isn't bad for a 5th round pick. His arm strength is beyond poor. The combine exposed that. He can't overcome that big of a deficit in the NFL. Super cerebral guy who may squeak a win or 2 out is fine with me. I like the pick because we have nothing to lose. Just my 2 cents

He is a mini version of Maurice Jones Drew.

So the same situation as the other 31 teams in the league?
Name 10 teams who have a better skill position corps than Diggs/Brown/Beasley and Singletary. Getting tired of you doom and gloomers who piss and moan unless we have All Pros for third stringers.
I don't see anyone doom and gloom as you put it. I think we are having a legit debate on the pick. Both sides of the argument have valid points. Time will tell who is right. For me, I want offensive weapons. The more the better. However, we do have a glaring need at the edge. Truthfully, Beane has been pretty solid and he has earned my trust.

Singletary went down last year and we won games with old man Gore. We have yeldon and at some point we will most likely get a runner to spell Singletary.
Right. For me, that runner was Dobbins.

They lost Lawson, Philips and Zo. You figure it out.
I don't hate the pick. I get it. Just preferred Dobbins. If Singletary goes down I'm not confident with what we have. Im hoping we get Fournette.

Many would argue Dobbins was.... and he’s an offensive playmaker for a team void of them.
I think plenty of people had Dobbins ahead of AJ. I just think we could have gotten a great playmaker on offense. Dobbins and Akers were scooped up immediately after we passed on them.
-
I really wanted Dobbins.

As day 2 commences time for a check on Gunner's Big Board. I will be updating 3 or 4 times per round tonight.
The top 10 BPA:
1. Xavier McKinney, S, Alabama
2. Kristian Fulton, CB, LSU
3. Jonathan Taylor, RB, Wisconsin
4. Jaylon Johnson, CB, Utah
5. Zach Baun*, LB, Wisconsin - inconclusive drugs sample at combine
6. Tyler Biadasz*, C, Wisconsin - injury flag
7. Marlon Davidson, DT, Auburn
8. AJ Epenesa, DE, Iowa
9. Grant Delpit, S, LSU
10. Josh Jones, OT, Houston
Bill, I don't think any of these guys will be there when we pick.

Has to be a scam. I suspect from India or Nigeria. Be careful.

As a running back?
Oops sorry I didn't qualify. I was talking as a QB. I know he's not a fit for the Bills. In general, on the right team you think he can be like the next Lamar Jackson? He is a winner. His passing skills do need work. Curious to hear your imput.

Yep. I think there are multiple RB and receiver 4th and 5th round combos that I could live with if alongside those two 2nd and 3rd rounders. They will take a linebacker somewhere though.
Bill, I know you like to evaluate Qbs. What's your thought on Jaylen? Sorry if I missed your evals in earlier posts.

I'm no draft guru. Knowing Beans, he will absolutely take the best player available. Personally, I am hoping we get a quality RB. One who can start and be effective if Singletary goes down. I suspect Dobbins and Taylor will be gone before 54. Call me crazy but I kind of like Jaylen Hurts.

That's way too early for him. So far, I don't like the Raider picks.

I had Lamb ahead of Ruggs.

Could it be the Bills might not be as good as their record? We are about to find out how good we really are. That Allen performance along with our poor defense has me worried. A good performance against the Chiefs would go a long way. They don't even have to win it. Just show me they can compete.
