Kansas City at Buffalo in the Divisional Round!

Mahomes can lead a team to a super bowl and win it all. It's really that simple. That's the new measuring fair or not. -

I'm pretty sure Mahomes will be up to the challenge. If the Chiefs lose it unlikely it's because of Mahomes. -
Update: Kadarius Toney out. Omenihu and Gay to play..

That's pretty big because I think he's one of their best run stoppers. -

I would be very surprised if he missed the game. It's rare guys listed with "illness' miss games of this magnitude. -

I'd like to think the Bills offense is better than the last time they met. Josh is playing better, Kincaid has emerged as a legit weapon. The running game is more diverse with running gap and done concepts. Shakir has become more of a concern for opposing defenses. Knox is back and even Harty looks quicker. I think the key is the oline. Josh didn't have a lot of time last game. However,bi think Brady has made some solid changes. Allen is getting rid of the ball more quickly. Negating lots of opposing teams pass rush. He's making really good decisions getting rid of the ball quickly. When appropriate he takes his *****. A good example was the seam route TD to Kincaid. In short, I think the Bills offense is much better, diverse, and in sync than the last meeting. I hope I'm right. -

Don't get me wrong I love Allen. He's special, elite, and can carry a team. However, to say Allen is better is very debatable. I think Mahomes is the heads down the best QB by most fans and football people. It's a stretch to say Allen is better especially since Patrick is dangling two rings while Allen is ring less. The Allen "will to win" vs Mahomes "will to win" comparison is a ridiculous statement. No offense. There is no edge on the will to win. Both are off the charts here. Did you watch Mahomes play on one leg last year? You don't win two rings because of a lack of wanting to win. For all practical purposes Reid is the offensive coordinator and play caller. Nagy is just a fill in. Reid is probably one of the best offensive minds in the game. Huge edge over an inexperienced Brady. Enough said here. Hopefully, the youngster can match or outperform the willy veteran Chiefs coaching staff. He's done a great job thus far. The task doesn't appear to be too big. The Chiefs secondary has a huge edge over the Bills depleted secondary. It's not even close. Have to give McD credit on how the D is performing with back ups galore. It's probably McD biggest and most impressive achievement this year. Hopefully, the success continues. This game may come down to special teams. That's a scary thought since the Bills punter has only one good leg, an inferior replacement, and a FG kicker that's very shaky right now. Huge advantage to Chiefs. Home field should be a huge advantage. This is where the Bills have the biggest advantage. I don't think anyone can dispute this. The Bills generally don't lose at home but this game and opponent is a different animal. I ask everyone to look at the home playoff game vs Cinci last year. Coaching will be huge this game. Reid has the clear advantage here. He wins big games while McD struggles in divisional playoff games and beyond. I think many Bills fans are secretly hoping McD doesn't blow it again. Sorry. However, this year feels different? Maybe that's just my homerism at work. Nevertheless, the monkey is on McD and the Bills. I believe for what it's worth the pressure is on the Bills to win. Thus far, the Bills have handled the pressure down the stretch magnificently. No one should question the toughness and resiliency of this team. One more time please, please, and please. Bills have a great advantage at the tackles, Chiefs running defense is not good, and the Bills pass catchers are better. The Bills have to take advantage of their strengths. All in all, this is setting up to be a classic game. A dog fight and heavyweight fight between two teams that know each other well. The Bills players and fans finally get their wish with a home game in Buffalo vs KC. We've been wanting this for years. The Bills management focused on building a team to beat KC. Is it be careful what you ask for or just what the football doctor ordered? Let's go Buffalo!!! We fans will give it our all to help the team get the W. I would love nothing more than to see Reid's fat ass and Mahomes whining ass march out of Highmark Stadium in their underwear. We haven't forgotten pain of 13 seconds. We haven't forgotten the grim reaper remarks about Mahomes. Sunday is the time for changing of the guard. The time for the Bills to shine! My old law enforcement gun range instructor used to constantly say "nothing to it but to do it." How fitting is that tomorrow? Go Bills -

The point is the head to head match ups are important to evaluate. A previous poster is citing how the Chiefs haven't beaten quality opponents this year. In summary, the head to head match ups are important while the claim of Chiefs losing to quality opponents is worthless. Hope that clears things up for you sir. -

I like where you are going. Lots of good points here. One likely a Chiefs fan can probably make a pretty compelling argument to why the Chiefs will win. I'm not going to do it but we all know what they would say. I can't get on board with the Bills winning big here. Not sure what you mean by not the slightest of margins. I'd be pretty surprised if either team won by more than two scores. I'd glady like to be wrong here and you right. A Bills blowout win would be orgasmic. -

Look at the head to head match up. That's obviously the best indicator not the performance vs quality of opponent. You think McD is telling the Bills players and coaches this info? Of course not because it's senseless data that means zero come Sunday. Not sure why that's so hard to comprehend. In the other hand, you can bet that the coaches have looked at the film of the previous match up. You can be foolish and stand by your argument. I won't be the foolish follower. -

It doesn't matter at all. Why would you go here when you could just look at what happened when the two teams played each other. It was literally a play or two that made the difference. They were down Pacheco and I believe Nick Bolton. If memory serves me right they were pretty banged up. The they didn't play anyone theory is right out the window here. Both these teams are elite with QBs that are amazing. Both coaches will have their teams ready to play. The real advantage for the Bills is the home field. It's a huge difference than playing in Arrowhead. I give the Bills the slightest of edge to win. -

I saw today almost everyone (Mina and crew) picked KC to win. I think it's truly a toss up game. -

I have never watched a replay of that game after it was over. I can't stomach the anger and pain. I believe it's part of the reason why I'm not a McD fan. -

Partly true. They lost games they should have never lost. It was also head coaching and defense as well. We all watched the games. McD's D was unable to stop offenses when it counted. No need to call out the games. An off sides call gifted the Broncos a win. To alleviate McD of blame is preposterous. To boot, he gave his blessings to Dorsey. He handed him the keys. To his credit, the team went on a big winning streak when it counted. The McD D has been able to close out games. He did change OCs. In summary, this season is mixed bag of very good and very bad with McD. However, it's very hard to complain about an 11-6 record and a 2 seed with an AFC East title. Thus far, McD has a nice playoff win under his belt. It's not uncommon for his team led by Allen to win. That's a lot better than Tomlin or McCarthy at this point. McD has been able to win in these exact scenarios. The real nemesis is the next round. Often, his team gets out coached and out planned by the opposition. Bengals and KC are stand outs here. Fast forward to Sunday. The Bills play who? KC the defending champs with the best QB in the NFL and a hall of fame coach. It's hard to not to get 13 second flashbacks. If there's ever a time for the Bills to succeed and get the monkey off it's back it's Sunday at Highmark Stadium. A loss would be very painful and somewhat demoralizing. A win would be euphoric and feel like maybe this is the year. I'm very nervous yet excited about the game. LFG Bills!!!!!!! -

You can spin it however you like. Nevertheless, it's a huge mismatch for the Bills. That's just reality. -

I will concede that Reid > McD but I'm hoping the game doesn't come down to coaching. Players play and execute. I do believe both teams will be ready to play. Their game plans should be solid based on their knowledge of one another. I really think you see an aggressive and assertive McD coach on Sunday. -

I'm not going there. Let's talk football. Who is doing that? I think the board has been pretty fair about the upcoming game. -

I get that point of view and lots of what you say is valid. I'm not a huge fan of McD but it's hard not to rally behind him at this point. I still have my doubts he can lead the team to a Lombardi. That's just me though. A loss on Sunday certainly wouldn't give me any reinforcement that McD is the guy I think what's slightly being lost here is why was the team 6-6 and in that position? Should they ever have been in that position? Blame has to be placed on the head coach. Bottom line is McD dug himself out of the hole he dug. It's certainly a gave and take he. This team has been in this very position for years now. It's not to minimize the accomplishments. Accolades are in order. However, this team led by Allen has to progress further. No excuses no satisfaction, no no no. A loss on Sunday changes a lot. Questions about McD will and should be asked and addressed. Think Tomlin or McCarthy. -

Absolutely agree here. Mahomes' legs are a weapon and he will not be holding back. Bills D has to contain the edges but yet put pressure on him. Tough task to stop Patty. It helps that Kelce looks slightly off and his WR core is unreliable. I think they try to pound Pacheco to open up the passing game. Similar to what Buffalo might try with Cook. This game looks like a classic. I bet it comes down to the wire. Bass kind of scares me. -

Mahomes in the past has really hurt the Bills with his legs. Gotta contain him, not let him get big scramble runs, and extend plays. Easier said then done. -

The Chiefs defense is also much better in Arrowhead than on the road. I still expect the Chiefs D to be tough just based on the teams know each other well. Spags is a good D coordinator. Their secondary is solid as well. The Bills offense has to play well, execute, be diverse, mix the run and pass, and make a few big plays. They are more than capable doing so. -

Do you really want to go there? Then talk about coach McD. Does your premise still apply? Allen hasn't even sniffed a SB despite his play. Does your premise still apply? Like I stated before, you can't ignore changes that have been made. The Ravens have improved their offense and are more diversifed. The chances of Lamar being successful have greatly improved. Stop digging your hole. -

I agree in the short term. It was an unlikely outcome of success. However, the Bills should have never been in that predictiment. So it cuts both ways here. McD deserves blame and credit. I think a lot depends on what happens this Sunday. A loss will likely cause many Bills fans to be disappointed with McD. Similar to what Dallas and Pitt fans are saying and feeling about McCarthy and Tomlin. A win vs KC and an AFC championship game is likely seen as a successful season win or lose. -

Disagree here. There are many factors in play with Lamar. You can't negate or ignore the changes the Ravens have made. Their offense is not even remotely close to the offense of past years. Their offensive system is much more diverse, has legit WRs with speed, and a "lively" TE. Also, Lamar is more experienced and a better passer. He's not a great passer but he's improved, dangerous, and dynamic. The offense not one dimensional. That's the major difference. They do have a legit passing game. The Ravens are the AFC favorites for a reason and Lamar factors into that. To imply he's going to play poorly in the upcoming playoff game(s) is based on opinion not fact. An opinion that I disagree with.
