  1. It's been a while since I've done one of these.

Just have to say that I think that there's a 90% chance of the Bills trading down.  I read the article about a "rival scout" chirping on the Bills roster and needing more than 6 picks.  That, along with Beane even admitting that a trade down is likely is why I'm ONLY doing trade down mocks this week......

Here's my latest take.  I think that on THIS board, we are overwhelmingly enamored with Jack Campbell.  I'm not so sure he'll be equally coveted across the leage as a first round prospect, so I think it's fairly safe to trade down and still get him or one of the top 3 or 4 prospects at MLB.

Trading down, we get to cover our top 6 needs PLUS a BPA mixed in for good measure.

A few notes on this mock.

    -  We traded down to 39 and picked up an extra 3rd rounder.

    -  Benton, in my view wouldn't be a second round option.  There are too many good DT's in this draft that pushed Benton to 91 in this mock.

    -  I like Boutte as a good sized WR option (no "little zippy", "gadget-style" WRs for me.....and Beane agrees, from his history of picks) from a very good program at LSU.

    -  I've been looking at Strange, a good pass catching TE, also from a good program.  Needs work on his run blocking, but he would be a developmental player behind Knox.

    Here you go!

    More big people!

This defense was not good in the 6 games Reader missed last year.  Couldn’t stop a nose bleed.  Lost to the Browns 32-13.

Depth was a concern here - and Reader is going into the last year of his contract - so we are going to solidify the middle of this defense and give us an option if we can’t keep Reader - and not fall off a cliff if he misses any games.

The Bengals are the AFC FAVORITE in 2023.  Outside of Joe Mixon’s character, there are zero weaknesses on this team.

These first 2 rounds absolutely shored up our trenches.  We’ll address secondary depth later in this draft and maybe add another guy this summer.

The Bears @Doc Brown are on the clock.

Wanted him as a bill!    In this VR world I have to watch him hassle josh!    Bahhhh!!!!

    lol

    Tight end.

Reality is that Knox is good, but not great. Yes, we paid him. However, we can run 2 tight end sets and these prospects in this draft are too good to pass at 27 if we sit.

I’d love JSN, but he’s not going to be there. I think a lot of offensive lineman and receivers will be there Friday night for us to take. All the mocks I’m looking at seems to think we will be able to choose 1 of 3 below at 27…

    1. Mayer

    2. Kincaid

    3. LaPorta

    4. Washington

It’s no secret on here that I want more weapons and protection for Allen. An elite tight end checks that box, and the thought of Allen being able to feast over the middle with a blue chip prospect like KC does with Kelce and Baltimore with Andrews is too much to pass on.

I’d love to see something like this:

    1. Kincaid

    2. Hyatt

    3. Bergeron

Are you open to tight end at 27? Less than a week away fam.

I feel like Kincaid is overrated, and Washington might be the best of the lot.

I would trade up for Kincaid in the first. Think you should compare him to the wr class and think of him as a difference maker weapon.

I agree with you here, about the wide receiver classification. He’s an interesting player, no doubt I just like more well-rounded tight ends that can block to some degree.

Hi Everyone, it's that time of year again.

Welcome to the Stadium Wall Mock Draft 2.0 with NO trades.  This mock will consist of 2 rounds.   For those new to the party, TSW members volunteer to operate a team as the GM, with full authority to make trades and player selections.  Please read the below rules and formatting.

-Have at least 6 months tenure on this forum

    -Have at least 200 posts

-Reply to this thread with the 3 teams, ranked in order of which you are willing to operate (Failure to list 3 could cause someone to take your spot)

    Rules:

-Mock Draft 2.0 will have no trades (3.0 will have trades and only one round)

-If you were a GM in Mock 1.0, please do not request the same team as before

-Anyone who takes the Ravens should assume Lamar is coming back next season

-There will be 2 rounds for 2.0

-If your team has multiple first round picks, you are responsible for all of the picks (if your team has back to back picks, you only get 4 hours for both picks combined)

    63 - Chiefs (HappyDays)

We're coming up on an interesting pick.  Got our OT in round 1, and once again LB has thinned out in round 2.

I'm looking to OC, DT, or S in this window.... for the Bills.  Doing some research on Michael Wilson (not interested in Tank Dell).  Not sure why he missed games.

The Big boy Siaki Ika, DT from Baylor is looking good.

  5. With the 54th pick, the LA Chargers select Daiyan Henley, LB Washington State.

The Chargers current starter Kenneth Murray has a PFF grade of 41........  yikes.....  Certainly linebacker is a high need heading into the season.

I considered DT Benton, RT (not much value here), and WR Dell, but Henley was the best value and bigger need.

The Lions and @NeverOutNick are on the clock.

We all know that Allen and Diggs are/were best friends.  We also all know what happened with Diggs at the end of the last season.

Recently, Allen was asked if his relationship with Diggs was still solid.  He responded, "Absolutely...  Stef's gonng be Stef.  I love the guy. He is one of my favorite people on this planet. He is so fiery, so competitive. He wants the ball in his hands 24/7, and I’m never going to not like a guy like that. He wants what’s best for the team.”

To me, that sounds a lot like coach-speak.  Allen keeps it positive, as he should.  But he never actually says that he and Diggs are still talking, hanging out, playing games together, acting like brothers from different mothers...  And his comment, "I'm never going to dislike a guy like that" came off as a little odd to me.  Who said anything about disliking?  Do you have reasons to dislike Stef that you're overcoming?

I'm not going to churches, temples, synagogues, and mosques, bawling my eyes out, earnestly praying for divine intervention for them to patch things up.  But I do have some concerns about their relationship this year.  I hope those concerns are wrong.

Nah, no need to worry.  They are grown a&* men....  They are also multimillionaires and are also both at the top of their games.

Diggs does see his window for a superbowl closing though, so there's that frustration with the playoffs for sure.

That final game was a big choke..... and that's all the frustration is about.

  7. Interesting LEBills, about Kancey.

That prospect has me confused.  This is a weird thing maybe, but when I saw him at the combine, scouts/commentators were raving about him, and he had a good showing at the combine as well.

........but all I could focus on was his skinny calves.........  I mean, I know that's odd, but how does a big man like Kancey have skinny calves..  lol.....
