  1. finally called DPI on the Ravens
  2. How does Baltimore get away with their near-constant DPI ?
  3. I could be wrong, but it seems dubious that Jacksonville had 19 dropped TDs last year. As for today, I believe that 3 of the 4 dropped TDs were on the same drive (which resulted in a TD). Cap hits aside, I'd much rather take BTJ, Kirk, Davis and Engram over the Bills' ragtag receiving corps. Davis could fill the 'blocking WR' role that Beane seems to feel is essential. And no, I did not want Beane to re-sign Davis.
  4. Perhaps an extension is in order?
  5. You didn't think about Davis when he played against the Bills in Week 3. I think you're trying too hard.
  6. Davis dropped another one, just now. Basically, guys you like shouldn't be criticized. Makes sense....but you do you.
  7. You've never criticized a former Bill?
  8. Tony Soprano would have had you taken out for a disrespectful comment such as this.
  9. A 30-year old, oft-injured LB...
  10. Laying into guys like Hollins and MVS for being exactly who they've proven to be during the course of their careers is silly. What was expected of Sherfield last season? This WR group - and the wildly inconsistent and often underperforming DL group - are Beane problems.
  11. Maybe those loads of picks and signings....just aren't good?
  12. He’s been quite underwhelming for a 1st round pick (ignoring the fact that Beane traded up for him).
  13. It's even worse than you stated - Moss was taken in the 3rd round, so that's 3 Day 2 RBs in 4 years. The Chiefs also had HOF difference makers in Jones and Kelce, in their 'reset' year. Who did Beane provide Allen with? Dalton Riemersma?
  14. It was not a great throw, but one that an average NFL receiver should come up with. problem is, our WR room is comically bad.
  15. Andy Isabella, who was on the 53 for the Bills/KC Divisional Round game, recently signed with a team in the United Football League. Beane just filling that WR room with studs…
  16. Maybe uncatchable for a guy like Hollins. That play reminded of DiMarco trying to run under an Allen deep ball, which coincidentally was the last time we played in Houston.
  17. It pains me to defend McDermott, as I don't think he's a good Head Coach, but IMO, this mess is more Beane's handiwork. Failure to acquire high-end talent in the draft and FA (Allen aside). Poor asset allocation (underperforming picks and signings on the DL; THREE (yes, three) Day 2 picks on RB in 4 years) Poor FA signings Inexplicably ignoring the WR room annually (the fascination with 'blocking WRs' in free agency is quite strange to me). Neglecting the safety position, as it became clear that Poyer and Hyde were aging out (Hamlin should NOT be starting in the NFL) We are wasting another year of the prime of the best QB in franchise history. Comparing Beane to Polian is a massive insult to Polian.
  18. I think because we're used to watching guys like Epenesa, Rousseau, Basham, etc., we're not used to seeing DEs who are consistently impactful, and who step up in big moments.
  19. Seeing Shavers on the field for the 4th down conversion/TD was....something.
  20. That's the thing - it's hard to win in the playoffs without 'blue chip' players. If you're content with being the Kings of Wild Card weekend, then stay the course. Personally I want more than that.
  21. Every front office whiffs on picks. In his 7 drafts and 8 off-seasons, aside from Allen, how much top-end talent has he acquired? You mentioned the Chiefs - look at their drafts and signings, and do the same exercise.
  22. Beane's annual neglect of the WR room has come home to roost. Who'd have thunk it?
  23. Rousseau was up against a backup rookie RT today. Who won that matchup?
