  1. I still don’t see Dorsey as a downgrade…Daboll had an extra veteran wide receiver, overall better offensive line play, an easier schedule, and his qb didn’t sprain his elbow and he got the same production or worse out of the offense. This seems like a recency bias thing…we were all on here last year complaining the same amount or more about Daboll 😂 frazier has done pretty well considering our secondary was absolutely decimated by injuries most of the year…I think that aspect is what might intrigue teams. We beat the chiefs with raw rookies/practice squad level talent all over the defensive backfield. I wouldn’t hire him as a head coach without a solid plan for an OC though. And if I was Frazier I would turn down the broncos job
  2. Bengals are the bills lite imo. They aren’t super strong running the football and when the pass blocking is good, burrow looks good. He doesn’t have the running ability that josh has when stuff goes sideways though. they really haven’t been winning/playing any better than us so I’m not sure what these people are talking about lol they’ve had at least a bad half in the last three games
  3. he makes a huge difference…the dropoff at safety after hyde/poyer is massive. A lot of what made 13 seconds possible was defenses constantly having to be fearful of tyreeks speed and he’s gone. The dolphins have converted quite a few third/fourth and forevers by hill and waddle just outrunning the defense
  4. burrow is elite when he gets good pass protection. We’ll see if they hold up without la’el collins. And on the flip side the bills offensive line seems to be full go and the bengals have banged up pass rushers. Josh looks the best of the three qbs (burrow,Allen, mahomes) when his offensive line is having a rough night imo. burrow and mahomes are both significantly less effective than josh in those situations if their backup RT is a dropoff from la’el collins then woof. they could be in for a long night because collins isn’t even good lol Hakeem adeniji is terrible if thats who they go with
  5. This doesn’t worry me a whole lot as the implication is usually ‘a team that has won a bunch of games in a row is due for a bad game’ but we have had bad games and are still winning
  6. I mean in that alternate reality where josh Allen was a bust we’d be drafting a lot earlier every year and we’d have more draft picks contributing early. People are kind of ignoring the fact that these are mostly late picks because our team is actually good now lol If you look at the chiefs who also have picked late for years/not always had first round picks, they’ve got a pretty similar thing going on. The only meaningful player they got out of the 2020 and 2019 drafts was ljarius sneed. 2021 they hit on creed obviously and nick Bolton has been playing better this year. then 2022 they unloaded tyreek and had a ton of picks that are all looking mediocre at best. it’s still very early in their careers of course.
  7. It blows my mind that they’re not sure he has a concussion and the only ‘evidence’ is Mike McDaniel watching the film and thinking tua playing bad(he called it inconsistencies) could’ve been because of a head injury. I thought it was tua reporting symptoms but it sounds like that may not be the case. A bit of a tinfoil hat conspiracy theory but the people that think they wanted to bench tua in a graceful way for the playoff push may have a point.
  8. Assuming tre really is this visibly bad on tape, I’d assume he’s going to get safety help. So proclaiming whoever he’s covering will be open is a little bit ridiculous 😂. You don’t just strand a guy who’s not playing well one on one regardless of his name recognition
  9. If that’s you’re reasoning, I don’t understand how this could be the biggest because we could’ve been on the road the entire playoffs last year if we lost that second game against the pats
  10. Yea I think there’s some recency bias going on here lol a loss to the pats last year would’ve been throwing the division away. This bengals game at worst were the 3 seed and we have already clinched the division. We’ve won 2 of our last 3 at arrowhead and were a defensive meltdown away from 3 out of 3 so it’s not like we have no chance if we’re not the 1 seed.
  11. Didn’t he love baker? Lol
  12. ‘Not even close’ hahaha. Burrow is useless when his offensive line isn’t playing well. And I don’t think Allen’s offensive line has ever consistently played well Second regular season game against the pats last year was bigger imo…dolphins game this year was bigger too
  13. Maybe the word terrible is an exaggeration but the point is the same. Light rain is a lot harder to play in than no rain or wind which has been every chiefs game this year as far as I’ve seen lol when we beat the chiefs last year there was light rain and we heard all night from the announcers about how hard it is to play in those conditions 😂
  14. I’d feel quite comfortable honestly, I’m more worried they’ll move on from tua than I am that they’d keep him. They really don’t have the draft capital/cap space to shore up the oline any further anyway and armstead I’d assume will have a short career based on his injury history. If you take tuas first read away in the middle of the field he looks absolutely lost regardless of how much time he has in the pocket. Their offensive scheme effectiveness seems to fall off the closer they get to the opposing end zone … they may not even be a top 10 offense in ppg by the time the season is up. They rely on clearing out space in the middle of the field with the speedy wr threats they have and there’s big time diminishing returns the closer they get to the end zone. They’re pretty terrible on the defensive side too so they aren’t built well to compete with the bills long term imo. Maybe when they dump their defensive coordinator things will improve. Jets are much more on the right track. I think it’s gotten to the point where even if you believe that tua is good, you’ve gotta weigh the injury risk and consider moving on. He has just missed too many big games in his short career especially if he misses the game this weekend. Two possibly 3 concussions for a qb in one season is bad news.
  15. Mahomes hasn’t played 8 games in terrible weather…he’d be a lot less consistent if that was the case 😁. I think op has a point about the chiefs honestly…they are just barely sneaking by bad teams that frequently are down to their backup qb. No problem with the eagles being above the bills though. KC winning a superbowl years ago is definitely counterbalanced by mahomes melting down in the afc championship last year / being 1-5 against the bills and bengals the last few years with the only win being heavily influenced by a coin
  16. He’d probably turn that job down honestly…this would be his last chance probably
  17. I think the jets are on the right track but the other two teams are going to go backwards. We’re just spoiled as a fan base and think sweeping the division should be easy so people are panicky 😁. The Tom Brady pats hardly ever swept the division. josh needs one more division sweep to tie the Tom Brady era pats
  18. I think the dolphins know what they have in tua and they will definitely be looking to upgrade when his contract is up…he’ll probably get another starting job somewhere though. mike white is still a pretty big question mark
  19. It doesn’t make sense that it’s a ‘sugar rush’ for 1pm games that doesn’t occur in prime time games with everyone watching lol I think it’s a lot more to do with the other two things you mentioned.
  20. We’ve played like 7 bad weather games and josh sprained his elbow since then lol
  21. I’m not sure how sustainable their roster will be though. All those guys they got early in this draft will need big contracts a few years down the road and they will likely be hovering around .500 going forward and picking later in the draft. The best way to ensure long term success is still franchise qb and Mike white is not quite there. They are definitely on the right track a lot more so than the dolphins though
  22. It’s getting to the point where they’d probably think about moving on from him even if he was consistently playing well. His availability just isn’t there and he always seems injured for the big games
  23. I said the same thing during the bills/dolphins game. I’m assuming McDaniel knows more than us casual fans 😂 so I’m thinking he just doesn’t trust his offense to pick up yards on the ground on obvious running downs. When they run effectively it seems like it only happens in between the 20s against light boxes. He may have been but I doubt he was exhibiting any symptoms so it’s not an excuse for the interceptions. Symptoms probably showed up post game
  24. I don’t think so because they could be missing him for the NE game now if he doesn’t clear. They’d also need tua to lie about his symptoms to even get him into the protocol and I can’t see why he would want to do that. it could be he was fine during the game and the symptoms showed up later…that happens I think trent just got figured out…teams started dropping 8 into coverage and he was lost. He had one of the best games of his career against SD his first game back after the concussion
  25. I watch a fair bit of giants games and the wr position may be poop but the roster as a whole isn’t. Thibodeaux/Leonard Williams/Dexter Lawrence are animals on the defensive side. Andrew Thomas has really come into his own in his third year too and finally gives them someone dependable on the offensive line. That’s what they were sorely missing last year. Theyve also got a healthy saquon this year too. that’s really all it takes to win some games with the schedule they have. They’re really winning with defense; all their wins/ties but one they have held their opponent to 20 or less points (packers scored 22) and they were all won by 8 points or less. They’ve also only beat one team who currently has a winning record (baltimore) although that could change if Jacksonville/gb win out
