Lmao 2 Facemask a on the Pats and the obvious one on the Vikings.. we get “what we see nothing” never mind the illegal contact on Henry.. lol at this rate we may get the 1000 missed calls in this game catch up for 20 years lol

I’m watching this game on mute and I’m so confused at some of these things that are getting called/not called lol

Did you hear what Romo said about Allen's throw?

Plus, your comparassion is a bit disingenuous. The Chargers are seen by many as a playoff contender and dangerous if heathly. No one really considers the Lions as such. Add in the Lion injuries too.

Lastly, Mahomes is out playing Allen despite losing to the Bills. With that said, Allen's throw to Diggs was tremoundous!

Mahomes has one of the best offensive lines in football and we have very much not that…Allen never really had a chance based on the supporting cast this season and his elbow injury.

I don’t think there’s much of a chance that Allen gets back in the conversation but I do think it’s closer than it looks if that’s not contradictory at all 😂. Mahomes and Allen are pretty close in total tds and total yards

Allen was methodical on the last TD drive, and rifled in that last throw to Diggs.

It wasn’t the prettiest at times, but Allen was over 300 total yards and 3-TDs.

His running started to tick up again and the Bills called some designed runs.

I think they are game planning around his injury and he’s being limited some if I had to guess.  The qb carries are mostly only popping up down the stretch in close games

I agree with a healthy Bills team has a great path to the Super Bowl. However, Hdye is already out for the year and who knows about Von and others. Also, I'm not convinced Allen isn't hurt. Will he get healthy?

We actually don’t even know that hyde is out for the playoffs.

Offensive line was the mess today and it sounds like no one is seriously injured.  Morse wasn’t ready to go on the short week,  Dawkins got hurt midgame and was questionable to return which forced quessenberry in who was playing hurt.

tough to take advantage of the favorable passing matchups when your offensive line can’t block anybody.

id expect to get edmunds and maybe Rousseau back also on this mini bye week as well as morse and probably Dawkins although I didn’t hear what his injury ended up being.

initial reports seem to be that von millers knee injury isn’t as serious as it looked.  Sounds like it’s gonna be a 3 or 4 game-er

I'm ecstatic about the win but it comes with an asterisk. Von is out for how long and injuries have unfortunately made this team slightly above average.

He’ll be back for the playoffs id guess…Rousseau and edmunds will be back any week now though it seems…and I’m assuming tre white’s role will expand.

I think you are missing the point. In fact, you make my point even stronger. The Bills played a mediocre Lions team who were hurt on both sides of the ball. They Bills weren't able to control the game and in fact struggled on both sides of the ball. The Bills were very fortunate to win today. Point being with all the Bills injuries they are not a great team. Not a team who can make a run to the Super Bowl. Anyone thinking the Bills can is out of touch with reality.

I think you made my point even stronger honestly but agree to disagree I guess 😄. Bills are missing a ton of high impact starters that mostly have week to week injuries and will be returning.

they are finding ways to win with holes all over the roster and faced with a lot of adversity.  Playing 2 road games in 5 days with little to no practice is insane.

if a lot of these players were out for the year I’d see your point a little more but that is not the case.  Plugging edmunds back in is going to change a lot on the defensive side

Tre was injured last year, we knew he was going at be out half the year,  that's on management/ coaching to account for it.

One of our two 31 year old safties is injured.  Shocking.

Edmunds hurt, he's a suspect player.  Rousseau hurt but we have spent his many 1st and 2nd picks on DLine??

We went into the year planning to start Dane Jackson. We drafted Elam in the first. We went into the year with them planned as our starters, that's what we decided to do.

If you somehow took ‘edmunds is a suspect player’ away from the last few games I have a bridge to sell you 😂.

Rousseau has been fantastic this year and we lost von midgame.

you also just straight up avoided the injuries to the offensive line and still needed a paragraph or two to try to invalidate some of the injuries haha

not to mention our other safety has been playing hurt also as well as our qb.  There’s just no way to prepare your roster for this amount of injuries and despite all of that we are sitting at 8 wins with a mini bye week comin

Do you realize that the Lions were playing with their best CB and 2nd and 3rd string oline men? The Lions defense had been exploited by most teams they have played. The Bills offense struggled against their defense. What is Bills offensive identity?

We were down to second and 3rd string olinemen also and were missing our two best pass rushers after von went down and had aj Klein starting due to edmunds being injured and had our best two corners on snap counts due to injuries and our qb playing with a sprained elbow and one of our great safeties is out for the year lol. I think we won the injury competition as well as the game 😂

The blitzed plenty against Cleveland and Detroit. Too much if anything. He isn't "just letting QBs pass on them."

He is overachieving with a beaten up team.

The ‘injuries are no excuse’ people are getting pretty tiring imo.  Cleveland and Detroit are two of the best offenses in the league regardless of what their overall record as a team is and they both just picked on our 2nd/3rd string weak link type players all game…same with minny in the second half

every team might have some injuries but they do not have our level of injuries…outside of what baltimore has dealt with the last few years

im sure there’s teams with more total injuries but ours are always critical players and always in the same few position groups pushing us way down the depth chart

When your DL can’t get any pressure and QB has all the time in the world it’s hard for any DB  to stick with a WR for more then 5 seconds

Kind of goes both ways…qbs are also getting the ball out quick against us cuz their 1st/2nd reads are wide open out of their break

He was pushing the lions as this big underdog - like it was a miracle they were still in the game.

lions have played everyone tough this year so why is it such a big deal. That’s what was annoying

Did they talk about the bills playing essentially two away games in 5 days at all?  It’s honestly pretty insane we went 2-0 with that goin on.  I had it on mute for most of the game lol

Until now I've enjoyed Romo's commentary and his insights into the game.

Today I thought he talked too much about nonsense and was poorly prepared.  I'm done with him.

He lost me at calling Dane Jackson a budding superstar whilst getting absolutely abused this game 😂

Nice throw especially given the circumstances but this thread is over rating it.

One of the best throws of his career easily…pretty close to if gabe Davis had come down with that final throw against the jets

Remember people saying that the BIlls should have held last year (13 seconds)?

Should the Lions have taken a 15 yard penalty and head hunted Diggs? Or held themselves coming off the line?

I’m still curious how that would work in a game…you’re not allowed to hold to manipulate the clock

I was one who said they should put Keenum in after watching Josh unable to hit several short timing type throws.  Never said he sucked, but he was clearly too injured to hit easy throws to make the offense go at that point.  Then he throws a piss missile to win the game...great, I'm happy.

The big throw he missed that was almost intercepted was cook trying to adjust his route super late…wasn’t really on josh at all.  Cook essentially faked josh out rather than the defense lol

We have highest SOV? That’s cool I didn’t know that.

Schedule has been even brutal-er than we thought lol the supposedly easy back half isn’t even easy.  The two games that seemed like layups both ended up being away games in a 5 day span against the 4th and 6th ranked offenses in the league

I doubt it. I wouldn’t want to touch him because of his lack of energy as well as 13 seconds. Also, I’m very curious to look at our standings the last 4 weeks as a defensive unit. We have been utterly terrible. Can’t stop anything. 3rd and long has been particularly agonizing.

we 13 seconds-ed the lions today essentially.  We were in fg range right after that pass to diggs.

More or less/probably could’ve done it to the Vikings too.  It’s certainly heartbreaking but it’s not a dark cloud that’s gonna follow your coaching career around imo.

I’ve seen it a few times around the league this season so far.

had the jets on a huge game winning td with no time left too and gabe dropped it

    Good win

I’m not going to say anything about Dorsey, we continue to put up points 27 today. Offensive line continues to be musical chairs and Josh keeps turning the ball over in the red zone.

Defensively we’ve got to get healthy. Beginning of the year the defense was demolishing everyone which started that avalanche rolling.
Now teams are going on long drives and matching scores.

We’ve been saying all year we just need to get healthy. It just doesn’t seem like that’s ever going to happen. Every single week it’s a different guy

That was probably joshs unluckiest int of the year…can’t fault him much for that one.  Receiver was wide open and the defensive linemen swatted it and it still took a great play by another defender to come down with it

If his elbow was a big enough part of the problem right now, I'm not sure he could make that end of game throw to Diggs.  Either his elbow is bad or it's not.  I think it is likely "not feeling 100%" but I don't think it's the sole source of his passing woes right now.

To play devils advocate…it could hurt when throwing from some arm angles and not others..  sometimes you have to drop down to sidearm-ish to find some throwing lanes around the defensive line.

I genuinely didn’t see many throwing woes this game but I’m going to be rewatching.
