  1. Shouldn't you be playing Dungeons and Dragons with your kid?
  2. Looks like the weather is going to be crappy, but its not going to stop us...we just got 4 extra tickets to the game, so my parents, sister, and brother in law are heading up with me. We're expecting to be in town by 1-2pm on Saturday...
  3. i <3 boobies
  4. Hand him a football, otherwise he'll be wearing black clothing, eyeliner, and wondering why you didn't hug him more when he was little.
  5. by the way, the pictures suck (taken on my cell phone), but you can see that I saw in almost identical section from Friday to Saturday Friday: Patriots at Bengals Saturday: Bills at Colts
  6. Mike: Thanks for looking. I can't say the exact time that we made it into the stadium, but I do know that we were in our seats for the game ball delivery, National Anthem, and player introductions. No big deal though. I was actually pleased to see that our section had the biggest congregation of Bills fans of any that I could see - we must have had atleast 15-20 scattered throughout - saw a Spikes Pro-Bowl jersey, several Moulds, my own Spikes, and some little guys wearing Bledsoe and Flutie jerseys. I'm definitely not as good as most people on this board at giving technical recaps of what I saw. I just have a few bullet points: - The starting offensive line impressed me greatly. JP had plenty of time to look downfield and was able to scramble away safely if no one was open. - I agree with most - Josh Reed sucks - The defense looked great, but I was really surprised at the secondary several times. Jim Sorgi was picking the secondary apart - if the Colts receivers would've been able to catch, I have no doubt that the Colts would've put up 2-3 more TDs on our D (granted, the starters looked much better than the backups). - Sape's blocked punt and TD almost got me beat up - I got pretty loud. Dungy's challenge to give us 5 more points (it was CLEARLY a TD) was hilarious. If you didn't notice, Mularkey challenged also, so we would've got the TD either way. - I was surprised to see JP stay in so long...got a little scared in the 3rd quarter, as the backup O-line was getting killed. Not sure who was playing, but the right side of the line collapsed almost every play. I was happy to see JP sitting on the bench with Holcomb heading onto the field. - After having sat in 2 different areas of the RCA dome (endzone last year, upper deck this year), I can honestly say that this has to be in the bottom 5 stadiums in the NFL. The facilities, services (beer guy came by 1 time), and scoreboards/jumbotrons leave a lot to be desired. - Walking back to the hotel, after leave the game and watching the 4th quarter at Hooters, some smartass Colts fans walking behind me made a comment like "hey looks, a Bills fan, I didn't know they made those anymore". I turned around and told him, "Don't worry, there won't be many Indianapolis Colts fans after your team packs up and moves to LA". He shut up then. All in all, a good time. I'm looking forward to the trip up to Orchard Park next Saturday morning (that game will make 3 for me in a matter of 8 days - Bengals/Patriots on 8/12, Bills/Colts on 8/13, and Bills/Packer on 8/20)
  7. Art - Very likely that it was me wearing the Spikes 51 away jersey - a buddy and I ate at Ram Brewery (across the street from Alcatraz) until about 2:30pm. We're at the Comfort Inn ($99 a night ) 2 blocks south of the stadium. About to tailgate for an hour or so (too damn hot out), then head over to the stadium around 7:15-7:30. Hopefully I run into some TBDers.
  8. And I'm off...hopefully I'll have a decent report for you guys tomorrow when I get back to Cincy. Time to crack open a Blue - FOOTBALL SEASON IS BACK!
  9. sweet, nothing like watching paint dry Oh well, its still better than baseball
  10. I was at the game - I definitely panned the sidelines for Brady for quite a while and didn't see him. He certainly wasn't in pads, but I might have overlooked him in regular clothes. Dillon was about the only thing that I was impressed with, and that kind of sickens me.
  11. I say mix them up - however, make sure that some lucky SOB gets nothing but Norwoods
  12. I plan on getting to Indy tomorrow around 11am-12pm. Upon arrival, we're parking the car at the hotel (check in is at 3) and we're going to walk somewhere downtown for lunch and beers. Beyond that, we'll check into the hotel, have a few beers there, then find another bar to lounge at until gametime. I don't know exact names/locations, but last year when my dad and I went, we went to the Hooters for a while, then a brewery a block or two away. Once we get to the game, we're sitting in section 345. After the game, we'll most likely be heading BACK to the bars (my buddy doesn't get out much, so he's planning on doing it up big). By the way, I'll be sporting my Spikes AWAY jersey, if it helps you recognize me...doubt that there will be too many Bills fans there (maybe a thousand or 2 last year). My name is Mike, if you want to give me a yell.
  13. So is this TBD rate valid for the whole season? I'm making plans to bring my girlfriend to the Falcons game and would like to line something up for Saturday night.
  14. You want him to resign? He's only 25
  15. How about a Spikes avatar where he's wearing a Bills jersey?
  16. Not really - it was his way to recoup the cost, as he's a season ticket holder. $15 a ticket is hardly getting screwed.
  17. Great post, but I have no kids. Come on JP, win one for me before I'm married with children too.
  18. Bump... turns out that a buddy and I will be attending. We decided, due to the amount of alcohol that will probably be consumed, that we are going to stay - I just made reservastions at the Comfort Inn two blocks south of the RCA dome for $99 for Saturday night. Anyone feel like having some drinks before hand? You'll see me barhopping in my Spikes jersey all afternoon (we'll arrive in Indy ~3pm, the game is at 8)
  19. less going out, more humping
  20. Nothing better than dating a girl under 21 - you've always got the bar when you need to get away from her.
  21. The o-line fixes a lot of problems - allows our stud RB to have a record breaking season and our "rookie" QB to learn at his pace.
  22. By the way, if you're a big guy (with a goatee?), wearing a Spikes jersey, Bills nation saw you on tv. I was shitfaced, but I did my best to pay attention - that is one of the few things that I remember.
  23. Re-read my post, douchebag. Neither are my heros, for all I care, I hope they get run over by Madden's bus. Regardless, it takes 5 seconds to tear the name off the the jersey.
  24. What he does in his personal time is none of my business...come on now, we're talking about $15 JERSEYS!
  25. For $15, I might buy my dad a Henry jersey...why the hell not, Bills fans really don't have any major reason to hate the guy, besides the fact that he's playing for another team now
