  1. I shouldn't have gone all Captain Obvious but the battle between the Ravens and Steelers is always fun to watch. Probably the best rivalry in football for the longest time now.
  2. Ravens and Steelers ( if Ben stays healthy) will battle it out for the AFCN. The Bengals at best will be 3rd in that division and probably last.

  4. http://www.gridiron-uniforms.com/GUD/controller/controller.php?action=main For the uniform crowd both Miami and Dallas have posted their uniform combo's for week 1. Actually Dallas posted it for the entire season if you scroll thru the weeks. I figure I would bring this up since the "what will the Bills uniform combo be" is always a popular topic. The Bills and Jets remain blank as of now.

  6. Like the majority here I have suffered thru the 17 straight playoff less seasons and mostly miserable football. Now that they are finally good I am going to be less invested. No way I can't wait for the season to kick off. It just doesn't feel like football season is here because preseason was cancelled but we are 8 days away from TNF. As for no fans being at the games I have gotten used to it with the NHL playoffs so I will get used to it with the NFL.
  7. I don't think they will be allowed to tailgate.
  8. Big 10, SEC, all of it. CFB = Saturday's in the fall.
  9. “From source: If conference can pass updated safety measures and procedures, Big Ten targeting Oct. 10 to start football season.” - Dan Patrick — Dan Patrick Show (@dpshow) September 1, 2020
  10. You are right about that. But these players need the reps and practice/preseason games to get back into "football shape" Getting used to hitting or being hit. I do think the preseason is to long. I wouldn't mind them cutting back to two preseason games in the future.
  11. Also they have a revamped OL. While they may be better on paper, the lack of practice time and preseason games will make it almost impossible to develop chemistry. Playing the Bills and 49ers the 1st two weeks is not an ideal situation for them.
  12. Every team will be dealing with this. No real offseason, no preseason games. Their will probably be more injuries than usual because of it.
  13. It doesn't even feel like football season with no preseason games ( I realize preseason games are sloppy and boring) leading up to the regular season. At least I have my Isles to watch. One more win to the ECF.
  14. 11-5 AFCE champs. Bills go in as #3 seed and win a home playoff game on WC weekend at minimum. Hopefully it leads to a playoff run with a SB win.
  15. Winning is all that matters at the end of the day. The Bills are at a point where they need to win at least a playoff game and hopefully go on a run. Just making the playoffs isn't good enough anymore is what meant.
  16. Playoffs isn't good enough anymore. If this rebuild by Beane and McDermott is going to be successful then they need to start winning some playoff games. Time to take the next step. Also winning the division would be a nice thing to have this regular season assuming we get one.
  17. Allen should as he has the better team and better WR's/playmakers. Allen will definitely score more TD's with both throwing and rushing combined. That won't be close.
  18. I would have no problem going to a game with those rules in place. I would want to be able to tailgate without a mask for beer drinking purposes.
  19. I think the weather thing is overblown. Any team in northeast is used to cold, rain, wind, and snow. Even teams who play in warm weather cities or in domes have many players on the roster who played in the cold in college like Penn St for example. Weather can help as do the fans but ultimately it comes down to how the Bills play on the field. I remember during the Super Bowl years the Bills rarely lost at home. They were just as dominant as the Chiefs are in Arrowhead and Seahawks have been at Century Link.
  20. When the Bills have a good team like they do now then the crowd really can help make a difference. Look at the Bills teams during the early 90's. They didn't lose to many in OP. If the team sucks then no amount of screaming by the fans will help. It will hurt this year being that the Bills are good and they have some primetime home games as well. Bills fans get extra fired up for those.
  21. https://forums.jetnation.com/topic/153483-no-fans-for-bills-vs-jets/ Some Jets fans are happy about this.

  23. Manish Mehta is Sam Darnold's #1 cheerleader. That is all.
  24. https://nypost.com/2020/08/24/nfl-fans-2020-which-teams-will-allow-people-in-stadiums/
  25. But Jets fans say Darnold is the greatest QB ever. He is already in the HOF and has a gold jacket in their eyes.
