  1. As correctly pointed out by Romo, our receivers got zero separation, this leaded to Josh losing its confidence and throwing ints. I think KC won on the defensive side of the field while we got no answers fot Tyrek and Travis.
  2. I am Italian, and I am not a fan. Mafia is a sicilian criminal organization that spread all over the world, the original name is "Cosa Nostra" ("Our Thing"). It is a very old organization, a branch arrived in the States in the middle of XIX century and I think it is still operating. Time ago it used to replace the state in the command of vast regions of South Italy but even now, in a lot of cities and small villages it is hard to open and manage a commercial/industrial activity without the Mafia "protection", that is, you have to pay a regular fee to them (the famous "pizzo"). It deals with the illegal trafficking of arms, drugs and prostitution. It has, or it used to have, a very strict "code of honor", focused on loyalty, respect, brotherhood. For these reasons it is often "mythologized" in books, fictions, especially outside of Italy, in a similar way as the japanese Yakuza. But while I don't know much about japanese mafia, I know a lot about sicilian mafia, and I know that it handles its affairs with guns. So, I get the term Bills Mafia in the "good" way, but I still don't like it.
  3. It will be very vintage, I will be sad at first but then I think I will be ok with it
  4. Oliver played well as I could see. Edmunds had some good moments, but also very bad ones
  5. A lot of times our defense stopped Indi offense for no gain or minimum gain on first and second down only to get torched on 3rd and long. Discuss.
  6. Goodnight from Italy folks, now I can sleep 2 hours then I'll wake up again for a hiking day in the snow. But I couldn't miss this game,
  7. I don't know, my focus is only on the Bills. But I noticed that Edmunds is more confortable to work in space than in traffic, with the guard blocking him. Another thing that I noticed is that in a good amount of plays he aligns in the C or D gap on the LOS in stand up stance, similar to a 3-4 OLB, or a a 4-3 "Under" OLB, while the Mike position is assigned to AJ Klein. It seems strange to me that a "true" Mike does not play the Mike position.
  8. Probably, in my opinion a true mike must be feared by the RB. Tremain Edmunds is charged by wide receivers.
  9. Edmunds is not a true Mike. He can be a perfect fit for our system, even if I am not a fan of him, but he's not a true Mike.
  10. " For this game, if you weren't lulled asleep by the punt-fest yet as the thoughts of depression creeped in about another poor Prime Time showing" I don't agree on this one, for the first time this season I was confident in Bills defense, even if a couple of third down stops were due to receivers dropping the football. When Taron Johnson picked the ball I screamed in excitment and I was sure that momentum was in our side because the offense lighting up is only a matter of time.
  11. Milano and Edmunds are very good in pass coverage. AJ is very good defending the run inside the tackle and blitzing the QB. I think there is the possibility to see all three in a lot of defensive packages. Also because our slot corner sucks.
  12. Defense seemed to shine with a lot of 5 and 6 men pressures. But I don't think this can be sustainable in the long run, the chargers beated the blitz badly with the swing pass to the HB, other teams will figure it out this and other counters. We have to make our base zone cover2/quarters defense working, this is the McDermott defense identity and OCCASIONALY mix up with man pressure (or zone blitz), this is the recipe of a dominant defense.
  13. It simply was NOT PI. If it was against the Bills we would be furious.
  14. I like dominant defenses, in my opinion the best football was early 2000. I think DB position is now almost impossible to play, too many times the offensive player initiates contact and the db Is called for interference, DB defends his position at the top of the router, again DPI, pass is underthrown, db makes accidental contact with the wr, DPI, cb is in press, pass is thrown, cb has the hands on the wr, DPI... I hate shot out matches, I love when every first down is hard fought. When defenses are strong, offensive big plays and touch downs are exciting, now It seems to me un unfair game, and i get excited for takle for losses, ints and 4th down stops.
  15. I think the defense is improving, but it is not nearly at the same level as the past two years. Past two years when a ball travelled more than 15 yds downfield I was sure that the pass would have been deflected or at least contested, receiver had always to make a tough catch. This year I still see busted coverages where receiver is alone catching the ball. But the thing concerning me the most is the running between tackles, we were under par even when we had a top defense, and now we are struggling a lot.
  16. Arizona deserved the win, in the second half their defense had an answer for all the Bills were throwing to them. We were in the game for two lucky plays, the fumble and the Poyer int. Still a very tough way to lose, it was 1.30 am in Italy when game ended and still I had problems to fall asleep.
  17. I think the same and I am surprised to read LOT of praise for Klein. Maybe the reason is that I don't get the skill for the blitz, I always think that they are the consequences of missing assignments by the opposing oline. Klein was terrible vs outside zone, always choosing very bad angles, he made a couple of good play in coverage though. Anyway, if he gives the best on the LOS as the 5th rusher let him do that job
  18. Agreed, coming with such perfect angle and perfect timing Hyde would have been separated the ball from the receiver without hitting the receiver face.
  19. Can you link me any resources analyzing all 22 clips? Not just the Bills, any good stuff is appreciated, thanks
  20. I am watching the clip right now, Tre was aligned on the line of scrimmage in outside shade, he called the "switch" right from the start, probably he didn't push Kelce because he was afraid to get beaten by the swing pass to the flat. I am not so much into the X and Os to understand the responsabilities though... Correction: the HB ran an out route
  21. Isn't White supposed to make contact with Kelce to slow him down before taking account of the HB running in the flat?
