  1. I'd love to keep Edmunds around but not for the price he's going to command on the open market.  If you could get him on the Milano deal + inflation it's a no brainer, for 17-20 mil a year, no thanks, best of luck to him though.

Poyer is whatever.  He's been great, and he's excellent when healthy, but that healthy designation is getting less and less likely as his career goes on.

dorsey should also take some time

I'm not happy with Dorsey either but there's a pretty big difference in an OC that's going into year 2 of his career as a coordinator vs Frazier who has been a DC/HC for over 15 years.

What you see with Frazier is what you're going to get.  He's not going to start shaking it all up in his 60s.  Dorsey can still pivot and improve this early into his career.

You're absolutely right, but like they say "The definition of madness is trying the same thing over and over and expecting different results".

I don't think Frazier was horrible, but a change is needed. He never performed well in the post-season.  Our post-season success is Allen going superman on teams, and herculean efforts by individual players (Taron Johnson's 98 yard pick six).

Frazier turtled in the big moments. I feel like we need somebody a bit more bold.

I mean you guys are giving Frazier way too much blame and not nearly enough to Brandon Beane. No one forced the Bills to be in the loaded  QB conference with an entire secondary of sub 4.5-4.6 players, and have exactly one drafted plus DE over the last 5 years in Groot.

Ftazier can only the personnel he’s given and that personell grouping was hugely flawed and Frazier probably had them playing above their athletic talent levels for vast majority of the last 3 years.

Like the lack of pro bowl nods isn’t necessarily a lack of respect. It’s also an acknowledgment of the level of physical talent this team has on defense.

So I guess be careful for what you wish for, because you might just get it

Yeah, I heard Beane only drafts guys to stand back 10-12 yards when the other team needs 5.

The DC wasn't putting his players in positions to be effective during critical downs. You can argue that the players are subpar, but they were basically put in situations that were doomed from the get go.

Just a reminder that the Browns gave Watson a $230 Million guaranteed contract. It happened. Any QB who doesn’t ask for at least that afterwards is admitting he doesn’t bring as much to the table as a 25 time accused sexual assaulter. So Kyler Murray. Lamar thinks more of himself than Kyler Murray.

Now that the XFL isn’t a tour de force and March Madness is too far away, the media wants to pick up old stories and refurbish them for content about Lamar.

The Browns definitely screwed up the market (and hopefully themselves) by signing that serial abuser. I don't think you can possibly make that deal for Lamar though given the way he plays and the injury potential.

It's a tough pill to swallow, but I think you have to let him walk.

Sure it's an upgrade to Highmark but that's not saying much.

My point is that if you look at the new stadiums and upgrades stadiums and arenas around the country are doing, they almost all have things in common. They all are adding things to make the stadium experience better then what you get if you watched the game sitting at home.

A good example is the Rogers Centre in Toronto. Before the major upgrades this offseason I rarely went to a game. I would drive 3 hours to see a game in Cleveland before seeing a game in Toronto. Now with the upgrades and the new amenities and food offerings I am looking forward to seeing a game there.

I know most here could care less about that stuff but the people here aren't your average fan.

The standing area section sounds promising to me.  I like the idea of getting some wings, a beer, and watching the game from that vantage.

I agree that it is not implausible that Dorsey can grow into the position. I'm not sure Dorsey's aggression, however, is a good match with Josh who is also naturally aggressive. I sure don't want to take that out of Josh's DNA, but someone has to moderate that quality and repeatedly impress upon the franchise qb that taking the quick hitters and check downs can also be lethal ways to attack.

That's a valid concern for sure. I can't say we'll know for sure one way or the other until next season.

What I find funny is that a lot of people will complain about the lack of talent on offense and how bad our offensive line is.  I'm included.

With this lack of talent and bad offensive line...we were 3rd in scoring.  I had my issues with Dorsey as well but a lot of it was player execution.

I'm not worried about Dorsey, I'm more worried about Frazier.

This is how I feel too.  Frazier has already peaked, I don't think he's capable of pivoting into being a more aggressive coach at this point in his career.

Dorsey at least has potential, and if anything he's too aggressive. That's much better than being too timid.

  9. I'm not happy with Dorsey but I can understand why he did what he did.

Nobody, and I mean nobody, took a step forward this season on offense. Crowder went down early, McKenzie blew his opportunity.  Gabe Davis didn't show enough to be the #2 the org wanted him to be. Diggs was fantastic, but he can only do so much when the defense is just focused on shutting him down.  The O-Line was horrifying, I don't think I've seen worse guard play this season. The RBs were getting touched at the handoff. Spencer Brown gets beat easily for being a big athletic guy.

It was just rough. Allen hides so many of the warts, he's one of the top 3 most dynamic players in the league.  We need to invest in him and around him, because without Allen this team would be dead in the water.

Here's the reality for us - the NFL now views the Chiefs as their new Patriots. It's not going to change until Mahomes retires. They will use every resource in their power to enable them. Period.

I am wondering if we're going to be Rivers and the Chargers at this point. It's not looking good.

I would have loved to be the Chargers during the drought years.

Allen is better than Rivers was by a mile. The problem is our coaching staff is living 20 years in the past and trying to win on the back of a bloated defense instead of investing in the guy who is actually making them look good.

He wasn’t a rookie. Just a guy who was always injured and didn’t show much as a result.

Sure, and what you're saying makes it worse. They had multiple years to see the talent in this guy and they even had him on the field where he produced with limited reps, and they still got rid of him.

the McD coaching staff is awful at making depth chart changes. Maybe comically bad.  The poor use of our rookies isn't because we just draft bad. It's because we don't give them the chance to develop in real game scenarios.
