VP of NFL broadcasting said they took Swift concert schedule into account while making schedule. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Yeah, meaning they didn’t schedule home games for those teams (Miami, New Orleans) for the same day as the concert. All it meant was those teams got away games

It is confirmed by the NFL scheduled around Taylor Swifts Era tour.  Google it, articles are out now

It's confirmed now through major news outlets, no conspiracy theory here

can you provide a couple of links?  I just tried to google it, I'm not seeing "conspiracy theories."  All I saw were some dates that she already has concerts scheduled so those teams have road games that week

I like Knox and have been a fan; however, I also acknowledge that Kincaid is the better player. Knox has a large contract to be a #2 TE. In addition, there are only so many balls to go around. I don't know if Brady is designing some diabolical two TE sets or whatever. Also, I'm aware that Knox and Allen have a good relationship. I just have a suspicion that something like a trade is going to happen. Am I nuts?

Haha I love these topics-hey this guy is a backup and is now really overpaid, some other team is DEFINITELY going to trade for him!!

You think that team will give the Bills a first or second rounder too?!?!

Fro being the 9th overall pick he was being a bust.  The 34th or so pick then no.  At #9 you expect them to play at a certain level

So like I said, we have very different views on what a bust is.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems you think that they either meet expectations or they are a bust.  Sorry if I'm off, but like I said it seems like a bit of an extreme view point

Why not?  Until this last year Oliver was a bust. He was on fire until he hit his bonus.

Why would it be a bad thing if he can out perform him? It means the team improves and isn't that the goal?  Imagine both being on the field for passing downs?

Oliver was never a bust. He didn’t consistently play at the level we all thought he would, but not even close to a bust. You’re quite extreme with the use of that word

  6. See I watch that video and my thought is that the football being played back then wasn’t very good. Cheap shots on receivers and QBs, DBs have to hold because they can’t keep up with the receiver-the game has probably skewed a little too far towards offense but in my opinion it’s a better game of football

The expectation for the Bills should be a championship, but the realistic expectation is a division championship and a second-round exit, as it has been in previous years. I believe it is more likely that Josh Allen will force a trade after 2025 instead of accepting a contract extension here. Even though he claims to love Buffalo, his ultimate goal is to win a championship. There is a reason why Allen did not take the full restructure, so that too much money wasn't pushed to the future, and he could potentially leave before his contract is up.

Man, someone is suffering from a major case of SDE

Beane said he wanted someone who was good at what they did, not necessarily a speed guy, at least in his last press conference before the draft. Hopefully Keon can win some contested balls. If he can't it will be a failed pick. Hopefully it's not Duke 2.0.

How is this in any way shape or form comparable to Duke? Outside of them being WR there’s nothing that’s the same

We didn’t really get an extra 3rd round pick.

We traded a 4th for a 3rd, so we essentially moved up half a round.

Thats a lot different than keeping our picks and gaining a 3rd.

I would have been fine trading with anyone else. I hate that they traded with KC.

So not to split hairs but they moved up over a full round trading the 4th for a 3rd....133 to 95, so 38 spots

You can play offense by having a good defense. You take away a puzzle piece that the chiefs have missed for the last 2 yrs with Hill and gave it right back. However close we were to beating them before is long gone now.

You don’t know this at all. The other teams might not have traded with them, or instead took worthy before them. This isn’t known.

The end result is KC dominating us for another 5 years until Allen ups and leaves after next contract.

Awful move.  You just gave the team that you can't seem to beat in the post season, the weapon they want.  It's indefensible.

If he was so good, why wasn’t he taken earlier in the draft? With that much speed there are obviously red flags with him. He’s not a great route runner and at his size he can be held in check. I’m not saying I wouldn’t have been happy if the Bills took him, but the doom and gloom when there are plenty of receivers left is a bit much

Bills send 28, a 2025 1st, and our 2nd, to move into top 15 to draft Thomas.

With Denver or New Orleans is who I would guess.

An additional first AND second to love into the mid teens?!?! Seems like an extreme overpay

I want to know who voted 11+.  Calling BS for 95% of you!

I call BS on 100% of them! There are 3rd and PS guys in the league who are worlds better than any poster on here and let’s be honest, even they would struggle to get 11+ completions. I’m hoping every single one of those people who voted 11+ (even 6-10) votes that way as a joke

With all the fumbled snaps and dropped shotgun snaps, it would really cut down on the number of attempts to have the passes batted down at the line of scrimmage.

Do we get to deal with wind and weather also or is there a roof?

The game will be played in the downtown indoor stadium

If you specified “ Past the LOS “ or worse “ Over the LOS” then I’m probably at a zero.

Honestly feel I’ve got five shovel passes and or passes to the backs ( behind the Los)  , in me.

Sure would like to make some of that third or fourth string money, though!

I did state that shovel passes and jet sweeps aren’t allowed for the purpose of this. I want to know how many people think they can complete legit NFL passes.

The fact that there are so many people selecting the 6-10 and the 11+ option shows how delusional some people are and how much they underestimate how good the NFL is

My time has come and gone as a pretty good athlete.  There was a time when I had a  pretty good arm back in the day.  Not NFL levels good, but I could hit 60 yards on occasion.  That said, outside of maybe a couple of swing passes to a RB, or a shovel / push pass, I'm guessing it wouldn't go extremely well.  I'm guessing that even in my prime, the only passes I could complete would be quick hitters at or behind the LOS.  I think trying to even hit a simple hitch route against NFL players would be darn near impossible for us average Joes, no matter how well you can throw a football.

These people saying 6-10 or 11+ are absolutely in fairy tale land.  There are games in the NFL where NFL QBs have not completed 10 passes.  You think you being some Joe Shmoe off the street with no experience are going to go into an NFL game for the first time and complete double digit passes?  You're absolutely dreaming.

Remember when the Broncos had to play a random guy at QB during the Covid season because all of their QBs got Covid? If I remember correctly that guy only completed 1 pass-that leads me to believe pretty much no one (and I’m heavily leaning no one) on this board could complete a pass

  16. We've all thought about it, so how many passes do you think you could complete in an NFL game?  For the sake of argument, let's say the pass must travel pass the line of scrimmage, so none of this jet sweep just give a touch pass to your wide receiver type stuff.

  17. I really like how the OP said to himself “hey this is a historically bad idea, I think I’m going to write this down for all of the internet to see”

Edit:I actually had a lot more written down, but I felt bad for the OP and deleted most of what I wrote

I fully agree, I understand it should be a certain level of frustration with him, but some talk like he is worthless. He's had some flashes here and there, also I for one thought that INT he made in the EZ against Steelers in the playoffs was a damn good play.
