Do you feel that there's good news that isn't being reported, or are you staying away as more of a mental health thing?
More of a mental health thing. This is the first pandemic in the social media era, and it’s throwing all sort of information and misinformation at people. I do think/hope by May we will start to get a grasp on the gravity of this situation. And it will ultimately fall somewhere between the most optimistic predictions and the doomsday predictions.Just now, CommonCents said:I like Cuban and it a time like this a little optimism goes a long way. Screw You Herbie.
I’m actually a Mavs fan and post on their boards. If Cuban thinks things are gonna be better by mid May-June, I believe him. He’s a billionaire, and has far more resources at hand than any of us here do. Also Bill Gates said 6 to. 10 weeks. These are people who would actually be getting the truth on the situation. I’m optimistic they are correct.- 1

Gonna depend a lot on the young guys improvement. Josh, Singletary, Knox, Ford, Oliver, Edmunds all need to make significant leaps to turn this team into a SB contender.

I refuse to turn on the news until someone delivers some good news on this subject.

And who would that be? Epenesa? Nice player but not a game changer. Same for Gross-Matos.
It's a down year for edge rushers, IMO, and I can't see them reaching even if one drops into the top half of the 2nd round...
Epensa can play, dude is a stud. Haven’t watched much of Gross-Marks. Running backs is deep in this draft as is receivers. Would rather they go with a corner, OLine or edge with their 2nd and 3rd round picks.1 minute ago, OldTimer1960 said:What are you willing to trade to move up? The Bills’ 2nd and 3rd might get them from pick 24 of round 2 to pick 10 of round 2.
Depends on who’s there. I’m just saying, I don’t believe running back or receiver needs to be addressed in the 2nd or even 3rd round this year. Those are 2 very deep positional groups in this draft. -

Who would game changing edge be that is available at pick 54?
Trade up for someone who drops? You think Beane is gonna stick at 54 with all the holes he’s filled in free agency?- 1

By worse than what they are telling us, I meant worse than what you linked to
If the shut down/quarantine goes past the summer, we will be talking about cities being war zones, entire cities would be homeless. We are talking collapse of society as we know it. We are talking much worse than corona. Like people being murdered for a glass of water type bad
Essential businesses are still running. And pretty much everything is considered “essential.” Only thing truly closed is restaraunts and bars and even those have takeout open. -
Trevon Diggs in round 2.

What about the 4 games when Singleton was out with a hammie. Do we get a mulligan on those games? Do your remember Davis getting us into the SuperBowl with the comeback against Houston?
The 10th defensive end in the draft is going to be a game changer? Why didn't the other 53 picks grab that guy?
If someone drops into the early to mid 2nd I could see Beane trading up.- 1

Really hope they do make it an open competition and Ford wins it outright. Hoping he shows big things this season!

No, you look at the draft and who you might get, fill the other holes with FA, and then gt a real game changer cheap in the
I think edge is where they need to find a real game changer in the early rounds. Grab a guy like Moss, Dillon in the later rounds. Bills have a good starting running back already. They just need a guy to supplement him with.

interesting comment. I think that's the kind of Dline they want, too.
Really wish they had a dominant guy on the Dline. Maybe Oliver becomes that guy in the future.

I wouldn’t call it a glaring need. Good running backs can be found later in the draft or they could bring in a free agent. They are pretty old on the edge. Would like some youth in that spot.

Tomlin had them in the playoff hunt down to the last week with two different, bad, back-up QB's.
Tomlin has yet to finish below .500 as coach of the Steelers.
Big Ben is back healthy, JuJu will be back healthy. Pedigree is why they moved up. You know the Steelers at base will be competitive.
Yeah, but God I hate the Steelers. Was great to clinch the playoffs with the win against them last year.- 3

Jets may have all of the top-3 WRs in available to them in the draft. Plus Crowder is a solid Slot-WR.
Jets need a LT before they need a wideout. I’d be happy if they took a WR over a tackle. -

Jets sign Perriman.
Lol. Jets have no one at receiver. -
Would be down for this. Want them to keep adding to the offense.

Sure his numbers weren’t all that great. But he makes plays a lot of other QBs can’t. Also a lot of plays that drive you insane. That being said, he still made a nice jump from rookie year to year 2. Hoping for more progress in year 3.

Would prefer one of the top 4 backs if they fall. Dobbins is a guy I really like. After trading for Diggs I don’t think they go wideout til late 3rd via a trade up or the 4th.

Really wanted the Bills to be apart of Brady and the Pats downfall. Disappointed they never got to win the division with Brady at the helm, which I think they would have done this season. -
Like Akers receiving ability.

FA is basically picked over by this point and we’ve traded away our first round draft pick. I would be shocked to see us add anyone of true quality to the line from here on out.
Right or wrong, looks like they’re betting on continuity on the line breeds improvement this year. -
Really hope they make a move tonight. Been an extremely boring couple of days.

“Big need” is a bit excessive IMO
it could be upgraded but our DB’s and the depth is just fine if this is what they go forward with.
I guess if you’re that confident with Norman, maybe so. But besides him they have Wallace and T. Johnson. They could use an upgrade at corner still.- 1

Yeah he has zero credibility on this subject. Whereas guys like Cuban, Gates, people with Big money, have a lot better information than his guess. I also think, like Cuban said, even if they were to play games without fans, it would just do a lot to improve morale of people. If I had a Mavs game to watch right now, it would do a lot to gravitate my mind away from thoughts of this virus. I would love to watch the Bills this fall even with no fans. Would be an escape.
